Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Full Review: After 1 month

Now, the first thing that you do when you get your Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is pop out the S Pen and start scribbling on the screen, at least it's what I did. And yes, this thing is a lot more fun to use than any other devices with the s-pen. You start becoming the artist you were never and start jotting down the things that you never thought necessary. But the note 9 is not just a toy. It is a powerful piece of a phone for power-hungry users and yes, the best phone that money will. A lot of money can buy right now, but the one question that is on everybody's minds is: is it worth a thousand dollars? Well you've already, probably washed a lot of reviews of the note 9.

But here are my thoughts on the note 9 after one month of use, the design of the Galaxy Note 9 is pretty much the same to last year's Note 8. It is a very well crafted device. Not much has changed, except the placement of the fingerprint sensor, which is now at a more convenient spot. The device is quite large and for someone with small hands like me, it's going to take a lot of getting used to, and the stating word is there, but getting a note device and complaining about the size is quite contradictory other than that nothing much has changed. You still get a headphone jack, and this is the first Galaxy Note device to have stereo speakers.

It is ip68 water and dust resistant, but that is not new for Samsung. Anyway, the glass back looks pretty good, but is a fingerprint magnet. We also have the Big C button on the right and though it was pretty much useless to me, I kept mistaking it for volume down button. I, don't know about you guys, but I think Samsung should consider removing that overall, the phone is tall and muscular, but this is a Galaxy Note device. So it's allowed to be taught a six point.

Four inch, quad HD plus resolution on a Super AMOLED display, makes for stunning visuals the infinity display with 18.5 s2, 9 aspect ratios and sloping edges makes everything appear. Superb, with all eight displays. You get perfect blacks and better colors. So from pictures to videos to text, everything is vibrant and punchy and colors are very accurate. There is no argument that Samsung displays are one of the best and while everyone is giving their own version of notches to their phones kudos to Samsung for not jumping on the knots train, the brightness levels are also pretty good, allowing good sunlight legibility.

Overall, however, a small issue is that the edges reflect light and interrupt the display slightly, and this is actually a design trait on all curved Samsung phones, but you will get used to it after some time. Also, you can adjust whether to use the HD resolution or switch to full HD, plus keeping it in full HD plus will help you save battery. While the AHT is all about your viewing experiences, however, the phone does not have the latest Gorilla Glass 6 protection, but Gorilla Glass 5 works too also. Finding a good-tempered glass on the note 9 is very difficult, and you will end up investing a lot on these, so I use this device without any sort of disappear. Addiction.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 inherits the same cameras from the galaxy s, 9 Plus, with some tweaks here and there. The dual camera set up at the back combines a 12 megapixel lens with variable apertures of focal 1.52 focal 2.4 and another 12 megapixel telephoto zoom in less it lets the camera change, depending on the environment, to adjust to the amount of light in your surroundings. The biggest feature here is the dual aperture. The primary lens can give you stunning photo quality. It maintains color accuracy, focus and details.

The only concern is Samsung uses its light focus as portrait mode and high focus really needs to work on its edge detection. Sure you can manually adjust the background blur too, but I think the both mode is better. On some other smartphones. The secondary rear camera allows for a 2 X optical zoom, which means that, even if you zoom up to 2 times, your pictures will still come out as sharp as the original. However, low-light telephoto images do get considerable noise.

Both lenses have optical image, stabilization to deal with your shaky hands and overall, the cameras are great. The added feature here is Samsung's version of ta camera, which is called scene optimizer. Now this can identify up to 20 objects and supposedly all their settings, depending on what you're shooting, but I didn't notice that much of a difference in the photos, no matter what I was getting good photos and that's what matters the most the scene. Optimizer is nothing new, as we've seen. Many other cameras have it, but this one also has a flaw: detection feature, which is quite nice if the photo is ruined in any way.

For example, someone blinking or something going on in the background or the lenses are dirty, the phone will prompt you to take the photo again now. This is a good way to make absolutely sure that your images come out great. The front camera is an 8 megapixel, shooter and well. We've seen plenty of heavy front cameras. Samsung does great with its 8 megapixel lens.

You can also get the both mode on your selfies with selfie focus feature. Also, many Samsung phones, don't have HDR pro feature in front cameras, but this one does let you take good selfies, even in very bright conditions and Samsung feels it's camera app with a lot of modes and options. You can also shoot super slow motion, videos at 960 frames per second at 720p resolution. There's an are emotion and a lot of filters in the camera itself. It is one of the best camera apps in the business, with lots of features and still easy enough to use the videos on this.

One are also pretty great. You can record up to 4k videos in 60fps with good, sound, recording -. The only thing that I cannot do is record 4k HDR videos as the Exiles night, when 0 does not support HDR video recording, maybe the fan from galaxy s.10 will have that feature. And yes, the s-pen remote allows you to open the camera app and take pictures pretty easily. It is very handy when you have to take a group selfie and fit everyone in the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features the Snapdragon a full type in US and China, and the Exiles 9.0 in other parts of the world. Now the Exiles 9 is 1.0 is faster than its Snapdragon counterpart. Anyway.

The chip is very fast and delivers super performance in almost everything from multitasking to gaming. You can play 49th and Pope in ultra settings and still get no legs whatsoever. Everything you throw at it. The phone can handle it. I even played those games with the power saver mode on, and it had no legs or stutter of any kind.

Samsung may not have the fastest ship in the industry, as the latest iPhones has the highest geek bench scores until now, but that does not matter as long as it does flawlessly and smoothly. Also, we have the 6 GB RAM variant here and maybe the 8 GB RAM, maybe a bit faster, but sadly that is not available here in the bulk. Despite its water cooling system, the phone does heat up considerably, while I play Bob G at Ultra settings, the temperature rose up to 40 degree Celsius, but that is considered normal I guess. The fingerprint scanner at the back is alright, but is a tad slower than other phones, which is pretty much noticeable face. Recognition and the iris camera face similar traits.

It does not work very accurately in the dark, however, software wise, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo, with Samsung experience UI on top now, this UI is pretty refined and is nowhere as bad as 3-4 years. Old touch with this UI has helpful cues to navigate the deep and feelingly complex operating system as well. And yes, there are Samsung good wear that you can't let go, but we have learned to ignore them anyway. One thing that I could do without is Big C. It is not as good as Google Assistant and maybe will never be.

This absolute beast of a phone also comes with a beauty battery or 4000 mAh, and while it will last you an entire day on your full HD plus display settings, you might be looking for the charger at the end of the day, with the HD display mode, I did expect more life from the battery, but maybe because the display is big, and the phone also has so many features. It didn't live up to my expectations. The fast charge 2.0 can charge your phone in about 1 hour, 45 minutes, which is not as fast as SATA, 1, plus 6, there's also a maximum power saving mode that can extend your battery life by a day and a half, but it tones down the display to HD Plus. This evolves biometric and also turns the phone dark. It is pretty useful when you're away on a trip, or so as for storage.

The note 9 has two options: 128gb, which is the baseline model and a whooping 512gb that also has 8gb of RAM. Both these models have a micro SD card slot which can support up to 512 GB. Now, the concept of being able to get a massive 1tb storage on your device is intriguing, but you don't have that option here in Nepal. Even so, 128 GB is enough storage. Don't you think now, let's also address another elephant in the room? The S Pen is what makes a note device on no device and with an added Bluetooth remote control feature.

There is quite a lot you can do with it sketching and writing notes aside. The remote control function comes handy sometimes, but for the most part its use feels forced to use in day to day life. You can use the remote control to open the camera and take pictures, which is the most you've used for it can also be used to scroll up or down in web browsers. You can use it to play or pause media or use it during PowerPoint presentations too, and for some others, but these things aren't exactly difficult with your hands is, however, the air view feature in the S. Pen can prove to be useful.

When you take your fan out, you get quite a lot of options which, by default, are limited to Samsung's own, but you can add or remove them according to your preference. Apart from letting you create and view your notes, there's the smart select feature which can help you select required elements from the screen and use it as per your needs. The translation function can help translate text on the phone to many languages. There's also this life methods feature which can help create interesting, doodle messages, but that's too much of gimmick and I. Don't think many people will use it besides that, if you want some childhood nostalgia, you can also paint some pictures with the coloring option.

Now, let's move on to another feature which is well an improvement over last year's mode. Yes, I am talking about the DEX. Samsung has simplified the DEX feature this year. That ultimately makes the PC like experience a lot easier from the note 9. The DEX can simply be connected with the HDMI to USB adapter.

On your note, 9 we're coming up with a separate detail, review of the DEX very soon so make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel. So yes, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, as I already said, is the best phone that money can buy right now, but unfortunately you will have to spend quite a lot of it. If you want this device, the specs are top-notch the design and build is close to perfection. Samsung's displays are the best. The cameras need more improvements, while the biometrics can be made a tad faster.

This is a phone that has everything and some more, and it will carry you easily for the next two or three years. So is there a reason not to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 9? Actually there are many first, this phone, no matter how many features it has relaxed a wall factor, and this is more noticeable if you are using the s9 or s9 plus or the note 8. So if you have been using those devices investing a sum of one lakh, 10000, rupees or $1000 is not worth it, but if you're using anything below that, like the s7 edge or note 5, this thing will appeal to you: it has a lot of improvement over those and a lot of power. The ideal user for this kind of phone is someone who wants the best of everything at their fingertips. You get a phone, a PC or a TV in your pocket, and if you are a devotee, s-pen user, that's a bonus you're not likely to get anything better until the next pixel arrives or the s10 itself.

So in the end everything depends on you. If you absolutely want everything right now, then you can go for it. Otherwise, if you can do without the s-pen or if you are on a budget, then maybe settle for something else. So tell us what you think about the note 9 in the comment section below saying this: it's me buddy Matt, signing off.
