Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) vs J7 (2015) - Speed Test! (4K)

Hey Isis time to do a speed test comparison between the Galaxy j7 2015 versus the 2016. So this is the 2015. This is the 2016 model, so let's just boot them up. At the same time, there we go, and we have a little newer, chipset on dj7 2016. You know just GPU wise. They have the same clock, speed, 1.6 gigahertz, and we have like little more RAM on the GSM in 2016, so you can see.2015 model is faster in booting up. So let's just start loading some applications, so you can confirm that both phones are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as you can see.

So let me just lower down the brightness, and you can also guess that this j7 2015 is still on lollipop versus the j7 2016, which has the marshmallow. So let me just open up some similar application. We're going to start off with Instagram go, and you can see pretty similar speed in loading up the latest feed gotta say we can check out my profile. That's also pretty similar. You see home button with small speeds, also very similar, no difference there at all.

Let's just load, the temple run, let's check out which one pre will when it comes to gaming, so you see j7 2016 faster there, so this video will help you to decide whether you have to upgrade or not. You know, because, as far as I know, the differences will be tiny. You can take a look here at smash hit. This is a really nice game, so faster on the j7 2016 very close there. We got share it and that is also pretty similar.

Let's just go back and load up another games of the surfer, so you know I like to test them out to their limits. You know they open like three games in every speed test, so the j7 2016 seems to be clicker here, let's load up CPU and that is also very similar. So you can see the j7 2016 is mostly faster when you open up gain. So, let's open up some default applications, we have phone dialer very similar speed there. We can check out gallery here.

We go and seems like pretty, pretty similar again I guess, let's just go back and load up cameras at the same time, let's see which one can capture selfies faster. You can see pretty equal speed there, so let's just go ahead and do the browsing test so for that I'm going to be using Google Chrome on both phones. So first off we got wwe. com. Here we go and let's see here, j5 2015 again on the right, and you can take a look at the blue bar up.

There will notice, which one will finish off first and yes, the gs-7 2016 finished off. First, if I'm not wrong again, that was pretty close. You know these differences, these small differences, most probably you're, not going to be able to notice them. You know. Next off we got the GSM arena comm website, let's just hit, go at the same time and seems like they finish off equally, but j7 2015.

It didn't load it the thumbnails here, but the rest of the website looks fine, so could be a bug with the website. I, don't know, but you know, scrolling is really smooth on both phones and seems like the j7 2016 provides small speed differences and there. Lastly, we'll be loading up the words worse, calm, okay, one two three go and let's see which one will prevail here and both are pretty similar. So far almost done, and you can see js7 2016 finished off faster they're, so clean victory, browsing wise with the j7 2016. So let me just go back and do the multitasking test.

Of course, you don't get the fingerprint sensor with any of these phones. You know on any of J series, so you can see Instagram it got refreshed on both models. Multitasking is a have to, say I mean should be better with the 2 gigabyte edition here, but it's not, and I really want to see some improvement with the update you know so share it. Look at that. It also got refreshed.

Let's open up, subway surfer, no app remains in the memory. Doesn't matter if you have marshmallow, or I have a new or 2016 model. CPU also got refreshed and let's see phone dollar phone dollars still there. Ok, thank god. It's like the least ram extensive default application, so open up gallery.

It also got refreshed on both phones and the browser. There we go. Browser also got refresh and let's see yeah, so multitasking is a pure gotta say, but yeah I mean for the price. You can't really argue most people not going to be using these phones. You know for like heavy gaming and all that for general use like if you are, if you are like a really busy person, you just want a phone that has a nice camera, and you know good build quality and nice colors, and you want to have like a big display.

Then they can provide that, and you can use like 2 apps or like three apps, but you can see that they're not high performing compared to like Huawei p9 light phones, perfect, so yeah I'll be comparing them in terms of the camera, and also you know the review and camera test. Video will be out pretty soon where we will talk about in more detail which phone you have to. You know whether you have to upgrade or not so yeah. Thank you so much for checking this video out. I'll see you guys in the next one peace out.
