Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 Gaming Performance Review!

Hey everybody welcome back to tech odyssey. So today, I'm here with another video about the Samsung Galaxy book pro 360. And this time is to look at it from a gaming perspective. Can this laptop play games? Does it suck at playing games? Can it play triple a title like PUBG Fortnite, some of those other ones? That's something that I want to look at in this video. I've got gameplay footage. I've tested out a multitude of games, and we're going to talk about that in this video.

So if you were looking at the galaxy book pro 360 thinking, hey, it's got an 11th generation, intel i7 processor. You can get up to 16 gigabytes of ram. Surely there's somebody sitting there saying hey? Can I play some games on this, and I'm going to answer that question in this video, but before we get into that, I do want to say if this is your first time stopping by the channel? Thank you for being here. If you enjoyed the video, please hit the like and the subscribe button and little notification bell. If you want updates, when new videos come out now, let's take a look at the gaming performance on the galaxy book pro 360.

Alright, so getting things started, we have fall guys, which is actually really fun game. If you've never played it, I think you can get it for like five bucks on steam. I bought it a while back. My kids convinced me to get it, but this one actually runs pretty well, and it's fun to play. It's definitely something you have to fine-tune those controls with and definitely play with an external mouse.

One of the morals of the story with this laptop is donen't try and play anything with the touchpad. I don't know what the deal is, but it just doesn't register a lot of times, or it will freeze up, or it will disable movement when you're trying to aim not that anyone should really be trying to play any action or first-person shooter games really with the trackpad. But with this one I found this exceptionally a no-go. You can see here it's nice and smooth plenty of action, lots of fun, and it really is a neat little zany game. It's not.

I mean it's, it's just fun, it's its one of those where I never really expected to like it, but I did now Fortnite, on the other hand, super competitive game, and this one I'm running it on medium settings. So high settings are not really it's kind of a no-go. This one even slowed down a little, but I've got it turned up uh you can, you hit like 50 over 50 frames per second, relatively often, while you're playing big moments like this, when you're parachuting in or if you're, changing landscapes or while it's kind of loading, some texture stuff can slow it down at times, but you can see here that once you kind of get to an area, you start doing stuff, it really clears up, and it runs pretty smooth. This is on medium settings, though you still have room to go down. So if you want to play it on low settings, it's definitely going to be smoother.

Now I showed up a couple little encounters here because, while I'm making the video, and I'm going to show where I do good and kill people, so anyway, it's a fun game, and it still looks perfect even on medium settings. I didn't really have a lot of complaints playing it this way. But again, if you want to be more competitive, if you want a smoother experience, toss it down to low and that'll definitely help you out when you're playing and also playing with the mouse big improvement. Here, I tried making the video at first with the trackpad, I'm like nope. This is no go, so then I went to the mouse, but yeah it looks good.

It plays good, it's nice and smooth, and I think if you want to play it on this laptop, I think you can have a perfectly decent experience, and it's got Wi-Fi six Wi-Fi 6e, so you can get a nice constant, superfast, gigabit, plus connection speed. Now this one is fun. I love to play overwatch if you've never played this. This is definitely a good one. Now the only concern that I had here it started off and when I was playing for probably like the first 10 minutes, it was good, but it seemed like, as it heated up it started to kind of stutter and skip frames a little more, especially in like big incursions and big battle.

Fights so like right here. This is only like, maybe four or five minutes into the game. So it wasn't bad at all, and you'll see here as we get further along in a clip uh where it starts to kind of jump around a little and unfortunately this is on the lowest graphics setting. So there's not really a lot of wiggle room, you can adjust and turn some stuff down more and that might mitigate it a little but yeah. It seemed like, like I said, as it got warmed up as uh.

Really it built up some more heat it. It started to stutter some but yeah, it's something that you may be able to play and if you can suffer through some the frame skipping or some of the slight freezing stuff, which this is not going to help you out competitively. So there's not really a workaround for that. But it's something that casually. If you know if it won't drive you too crazy, it's playable, so you'll see here.

This is the part of the clip where it's it started to kind of mess up a little, you'll start to see it slow down and get a little more choppy. There's a big jump right there, and then it's like whoop and yeah backed up got out of it and got through the short little part there. But you can see that's really something that will impact your gameplay again, here's some more of that going on so maybe not the best for overwatch, but for some other games like this one valerian and my kids are huge in this one, and this is one of the hot items right now. You can play this on high, so this is on high settings. It's maxed out, I mean I'm getting 60 frames per second, no problem, it'll even go higher than that.

The chipset is supposed to go over 100 frames per second, which is pretty cool. You probably got to turn it down a little more to achieve that, but this one you can play really, really well, it's nice! It's smooth! It's fast! Furthermore, it's fun and responsive, and I really enjoy playing this one, especially on the laptop, and it makes me happy about this purchasing decision. Because not only can you do your professional work, but if you want you've also got this nice on-the-go gaming kind of laptop, I mean Valorant cs: go playing, fall, guys playing diablo 3 playing some other games that are not necessarily the most graphics intensive first person. Shooters are really the biggest limiting factor for this machine. You're not going to really be able to play a lot of first-person shooters and enjoy them.

Unless you want to relive the old 30 frames per second day back with like quake 2 when that was a when that was a hot ticket but yeah if you want to play 60 frames per second or above or 50 frames per second and above you're, going to be limited to some of these games, but some of them they're not really as intensive on the requirements like this one. So you really can have a lot of fun now. Also, we have League of Legends here. League of Legends is one of the higher tier games. That is really, really fun that people enjoy to play, and this one runs like a champ.

You can do over 100 frames per second on this one as well, very smooth lots of fun, and this game's been around for a while, and it's always been one of those where it's not so much hardware intensive, so it allows you to play competitively play for fun play custom games. Whatever is that you want to do? League of Legends is definitely a fun one. If you want to fire it up and give it a go and yeah, it runs really well so no complaints here when it comes to this one and last but least we have cs go, so this one is an oldie, but a goodie. Of course, if you like to play games back in like the late 90s early 2000s- and you probably really enjoy counter-strike- and I used to play this all the time I used to go to land caf?s play with my buddies. This was back when high-speed internet was really starting to become a thing, and now it's been around for a couple of years.

Again in this cs go version. You can get it on steam and people really like it, and this one runs pretty well to this one's very playable. This one is supposed to get over 100 frames per second, too you're going to have to turn the graphics down and mess with the settings to get it to do that, but you can play it on low medium settings, no problem, and I was able to run through and play several games of it, and even when I had been playing for a while, even if there was heat build up, it doesn't really drop frames. It doesn't really slow down. So this is a nice gaming experience.

If you want some first-person shooter action, but you don't want to have to worry about the frustrations of like with overwatch what you're, seeing there or with war zone, where it's just really unplayable. You can't play war zone on here. Don't even try to don't even try, but this one's good, all right, what'd, you think not the greatest gaming performance in the world, but in certain areas in certain games it performed pretty well, if you're a Valorant fan if you're a League of Legends fans if you're a Fortnite fan. If you like to play some of those kinds of games, then you are definitely in luck. Diablo 3 star craft 2 lots of things that can handle pretty well surprisingly.

Now, if you want to try and play war zone, that's pretty much a no-go. You really don't want to play war zone. You don't want to play PUBG, there's some AAA titles. Furthermore, you want to stay away from, but Valorant cs go a couple of those other ones. Even Fortnite are very playable, and I think it's a pretty good experience on top of everything else.

It brings so much multitasking and productivity to the table. You've got some Samsung integration. With the laptop you got the s pen, you can sit there and do your work, but then, if you want to turn flip the switch when you get off work and play some Fortnite play, some ballerina play some fall guys. You can perfectly do that on this laptop and I think that's important because it illustrates not only is it for work, but also for play and a lot of people really like that these days, you don't want to have two different laptops now, certainly not for competitive level gaming, but for some entertainment and a good time, and also that little feature where you can screen record. So you can have yourself there.

While you screen capture and record your great video clips to share with your buddies. So that's all I've got in this video, but if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them down in the comment section I'll get back with you. If you enjoy the video please hit the like and the subscribe button and little notification bell. If you want updates when new videos come out and as always thanks for being here, I appreciate you watching, and I'll see you guys next time you.
