Samsung Galaxy A20 vs BLU G9 Pro - Who Will Win?

Which is better the Samsung Galaxy h20 or the blue g9 Pro. Well, in this video, we're going to find out. Follow me on Instagram at Kevin, breeze, TV, hi everyone. This is Kevin here coming at you with my comparison, video between the Samsung Galaxy, a 20 in the blue g9 Pro. So both these devices have a pretty similar form factor they're, also both in roughly the same price range, so I think you're. Definitely going to find this video to be helpful.

Now the Samsung Galaxy, a 20 is available factory unlocked as an international model and as a US model, with the international model being for sale for 160 dollars, but limits you to GSM carriers only and the US model being offered at — $49.99 with support for all four major US carriers. You can also get this phone at a variety of different carriers directly and that's probably the best way to go. If you want to save some money, the only downside of that is that you'll probably be locked to whatever carrier you get this from now. If the blue g9 pro it's pretty simple, this is a factory unlocked phone GSM. Only so this is gonna work with AT&T and T-Mobile, as well as Metro by T-Mobile and Circuit, and this device is being offered currently for $1709.99. Now take a look at the links in the video description to see the current pricing for these on Amazon, because it's definitely possible than the prices for these devices might have gone down since the time we be making this video now the Samsung Galaxy 820 features a six point: four inch display at 720p with the 19 and a half by 9 aspect ratios.

Now this display is AMOLED, so it's a really bright and clear display, and I'm really a big fan of it. Now, with the blue g9 Pro, we have a slightly smaller display at 6.3 inches. The display itself is 1080p, and it features a 19 and a half by 9 aspect ratios. Now this displays LCD. So, unlike the galaxy, a 20 which is AMOLED, it is a different display technology and definitely when you hold these two phones side-by-side, there's no doubt that the galaxy 20 does have the brighter and clearer display of the tube.

But we do get a higher res solution of the blue, g9 Pro, so I do like both displays. Personally, though, I do think that I would rather have the lower resolution, but then get AMOLED with the galaxy, a 20, then what we get with the g9 Pro, but honestly, both phones, feature displays that are very good, will definitely get the job done and really are better than what you'd expect at this price range. Now the designs of the two devices are pretty similar here, definitely a little of a larger display on the a20, which makes sense because of its larger display size, but we have teardrop notches on the top of both. So that's kind of my favorite design. If you have to have a notch on your phone, because it is very small and really doesn't take up any space at all.

So you can see all of your various notification icons and your various system status, icons on the right side, then, on the bottom. Both phones have a little of a chin, but overall I really do like the designs of both phones. Now up top here with the galaxy h20, we get an 8 megapixel, front-facing camera and at the Blu g9 Pro we've a 24 megapixel front facing camera. With the age 20 we get 32 gigabytes of internal storage, with SD card expansion and with the blue, g9 Pro. We get dramatically more storage at 128 gigabytes, so four times the amount of internal storage, and we also get SD card expansion.

Now, there's no wireless charging with the galaxy 820, but we do get wireless charging that the blue g9 pro and then on the back of the two phones. They both have fingerprint sensors. Let's try it out with the 820, so there you quick there and then with the g9 pro very quick as well. So a big fan of having fingerprint sensors really don't mind them being on the back either. That's totally acceptable for me.

So both phones feature good designs now, also in the backside of the two devices are the camera modules. So there are some major differences here. So, with the galaxy 820, we have a dual camera setup with a 13, megapixel main camera and a five megapixel secondary camera. Now that secondary camera is also a wide-angle lens, so you can take great wide-angle photos and with the blue g9 pro with a triple AI camera setup here with a 20 megapixel night-shot camera, a 16 megapixel main camera and a 5 megapixel depth, sensing camera to assist with the portrait mode. But there is no wide-angle camera with the blue g9 pro.

So it's a bit disappointing I definitely wish the out of these cameras. We did have a wide-angle camera. Let me show you actually did benefit that come along with that. So this is what the standard camera right now I'm going to switch over to the wide-angle, and you can see how much more content fits into the frame and then with the blue, g9 Pro. Of course, it takes great photos.

Don't get me wrong, let's switch the camera around. It takes great photos, but you don't have the ability to take those wide-angle photos. So I really would like to see that in a phone from blue sometime soon, hopefully because that really is nice useful feature- and it's also a feature that you mostly find with only high-end devices nowadays. But it is a nice surprise that the galaxy 820 does have a wide-angle camera. Now, with both devices, you are getting portrait mode, which is great with the galaxy 820.

You were getting three gigabytes of RAM and with the blue, g9 Pro you're, getting four gigabytes of RAM and with the galaxy a 20 we're getting the Samsung Enos 7 9, 0 4 processors and with the blue g9 Pro we're getting the MediaTek hello P 60. Now I did run into two benchmark tests for both devices. So you can compare the scores here now with the Samsung Galaxy 820. We have a score of 1 0, 9, 0, 0 8 and with the blue g9 Pro, with a score of 139 6 5 4, and you can see that for the CPU we have a score of 4 8, 1, 1 5 in the galaxy a 20 and the g9 Pro is a CPU score of 5 9 0, 3 4. So for both the general score and CPU score, we get a higher benchmark score.

The blue, g9 Pro. So from that, you should expect to get better performance, but really those are pretty close scores, so you are probably going to be getting pretty comparable performance. Now, video recording with both devices maxes out at 1080p at 30 frames per second. Both phones feature beefy, 4000 million power internal batteries and they both run Android 9pi. Now with the Galaxy 820, we do have Samsung's skin on here versus stock Android with the blue g9 Pro.

So it really depends on your personal preference. We do get Bixby with the galaxy 820, so that is a nice little bonus there. So let me know in the comments below, if you prefer, Samsung skin or if you'd rather have stock Android. Now that we've gone into the specifications of these two devices, let's now compare the hardware. So a lot of similarities here up front as I went over.

The biggest difference is that we are an AMOLED display with the galaxy 820, but the resolution is 720p versus 1080p, with LCD on a blue, g9 pro, but definitely they're similar looking devices. If you just looked at them head-on, then take a look on the left side of the two phones. We have a pretty similar setup here, as well with just the slot for the micros card and SIM card, but with phones have a plastic band running around them, but they also both feel very solid. Then, on the right side, both devices feature the volume button and power button, then, on the top. Both phones have the newest cancelling microphone and on the bottom, both phones have a USB-C port for targeting and data transfer.

They both have a microphone to both of a speaker and they both have a 3.5 millimeter, headphone jack. So pretty similar setup on both devices and then on the back. We have quite a few similarities here. I mean we have the camera module. We have the flash with the fingerprint sensor, but you can see that the material in the back is pretty different.

So in both phones we have kind of a glossy plastic finish, but with the h1 he moved more of a charcoal finish here and with the blue g9 pro. We have this really cool texture, so I'm a huge fan of this look. This is their unique and something I don't see very often with a budget smartphone. Let's now do a speed test comparison between these two devices. Let's start by pulling up the camera apps, so one two three go, and it looks like it was about a tie there with the two devices.

Definitely both were very quick at pulling up the cameras. Let's now pull up Google Chrome one two three go, and it looks like the blue g9 pro is quicker at pulling up Google Chrome, let's go to yahoo. com one: two three goes: the blue g9 pro is quicker at pulling up Yahoo. Let's go to engage comm one two three go: it looks like actually in this test the galaxy a 20. It was quicker at pulling up and gadget.

You can also see here side by side. There's no doubt that the galaxy 820 is the brighter screen of the two. Despite both devices having their brightness turned up to 100%, we do some scrolling here pretty smooth scrolling on the a20 and also smooth scrolling on the g9 pro. So there you are happy with the performance of both devices, especially for the price. Let's go to this article, one two three go, and it looks like the g9 Pro is a little quicker, pulling up the article but very quick performance with both devices, so I'm.

Definitely a fan of both of these phones. I think it really comes down to you. If you want to get a wide-angle camera or not, that's really the main benefit that I can see with the galaxy 820 I suppose the other benefit with this device is that you are getting that AMOLED display, but the compromises that go along with getting this phone over, the blue, g9 Pro I. Think, overall, you are getting better photo quality if you do not need a wide-angle camera you're getting four times the amount of internal storage with the blue g9 pro and 32. Gigs really isn't a lot with the galaxy 820 you're, getting an extra gigabyte of RAM with the blue g9 pro you're, getting a better front-facing camera you're getting a 1080p display.

So it really comes down to your personal preferences, but I think they both have their own pros and cons. I would say it's pretty much a tie. It really comes down to you really what features you find to be the most important. But let me know what you think of these two devices definitely give the video a thumbs up if you liked it and check out the links in the video description to buy either of these two phones on Amazon. But this is Kevin here.

Thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next video.
