When the camera keeps crashing on your phone. You can always expect it to be either a problem with the app or there's an issue with the firmware affecting the camera app. We haven't encountered a problem like this before wearing it's due to a hardware issue. Needless to say, you should be able to fix it by doing a few troubleshooting procedures. Hey guys, RJD here from the seen comm and in this video I will be showing you what to do if the camera on your phone keeps crashing. First solution perform the forced restart when it comes to pre-installed apps that keep crashing, they could be just a result of a pretty minor firmware issue.

Thus, the best thing you can do first is the forced restart it's an effective method against issues like this. Here's how it's done, press the volume down button and the power key at the same time and hold them both for 10 seconds when the logo shows release both keys and wait until your phone has finished rebooting once your device has successfully rebooted launch the app and see if the problem still occurs. Second solution: clear: the cache and data of the camera app crashes can also be due to some corrupt, app cache or data files. That's the reason why you have to delete the old cache and data of the app that keeps crashing, especially if the problem remained after doing the first procedure. Here's how you do that go to the screen where the camera icon is located, tap and hold on the camera icon until options show tap app info touch, storage, tap, clear cache, now tap clear data and touch ok to confirm after this try to open the app and see if the problem is fixed.

Third solution: factory reset your phone if the app still crashes, even after doing the second procedure, then it's time to reset your device. Camera is embedded in the firmware and this problem could be just a result of a firmware. Related issue, however, make sure to create a backup of your important files prior to the reset when ready follow these steps to reset your phone swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap the Settings icon find untapped. General management touch reset tap factory data, reset scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap reset if prompted enter your pin password or pattern. Finally, tap delete.
