This is all the default apps and settings you get straight out of the box right here. So look at the hole, punch, camera.

It looks so good guys it's a beautiful screen. It looks amazing in person, so you can see. We have the pre-installed apps right here. The Galaxy Store the Play Store Google Apps and Microsoft apps as well, so you can see the pre-installed apps and then the different icons for Android for Samsung devices, so our phone, our messaging, our web browser and our camera right there, then we can go to our other screen. These are all the apps I downloaded for us just so we can check them out in a little here in this video.

So you can see our responsive. It is now we can go ahead. Let's look at the device settings really quick. You can see. Our connections sound notifications, our display.

We have so many display settings right here, light or dark brightness blue light filters. Tons of different modes touch sensitivity, screen savers, wallpapers themes, lock screen our biometrics guys. So we do have facial recognition that works great fingerprints as well. Don't forget their fingerprint sensor and readers built right into the screen right. Where my index finger is right about location, Google settings advanced features as well, then we can see something like device care, so we can check our battery status, our storage.

We still have over a hundred gigabytes of storage, left, and I did take a couple of photos already and videos with this phone, our four gigs of memory, our Ram security, and we can optimize it. If we want super responsive, a good-looking phone right here, and you can see software updates, we do have Android ten. We can learn more tips and help right there, and then we can view our device information. So that's a quick look at the settings. Now we can go back out, let's pull down the top menu, so you can see all the different options that we have our power controls right there.

So we can easily power off, restart or go to emergency mode, and then we can also change our side key settings right here for the power button. What do you want the power button to do, and we can go back and let's pull it down again, so you can see Bluetooth, flashlight, airplane mode, very similar to stock Android, with a screen recorder built in dark mode? If we want Bigamy routines, kids, home NFC, always-on display quick share, so many options right here for us now we can go back up. We can go back to the home screen, so you can see our apps again. Now, let's go ahead, let's check out some benchmarks. So let's open up our benchmark Xperia here you can see the tests we already ran.

So our final score was seventeen. Seventy-seven, eighty-nine, this phone defeated ten percent of users, and you can see the breakdown of our results right here. Eight percent of users defeated for the CPU GPU, twelve percent of users, our memory 22 percent of users and then our UX. Twenty-One percent of users right there. You can see the results, some hardware details as well, so a thorough test guys.

You can compare this to your phone by downloading the app and trying it out as well to see what score you get now, let's go ahead: let's pull up our speed test, so we conducted this test outside on visible network, which is Verizon 4G LTE I live in a residential area outside of Cincinnati Ohio in the Midwest. So you can see our score right here. It'll fluctuate sometimes depending on the day and time of the test, but you can get a feel for the data speeds in a residential area. So we can see the app performance for all of these products right here. So it meets the awesome requirement, which is the best one for the app for YouTube Google Chrome Google Maps twitch Spotify Netflix.

So you won't have any issues using the visible network with this device. Now we can look at our camera settings so go ahead, open up the camera icon and app on your mobile device. Now you can see at the bottom. We have a couple. Different options live focus mode right here photo video and more, so you can see in the more tab.

We have Bixby vision, AR zone, Pro panorama, macro food, night, super slo-mo, slow motion and hyperlapse. We can go back. Furthermore, we can look at video mode, really quick. Furthermore, we have two options right here. Furthermore, we have two trees or three trees, so normal mode or ultra-wide.

Then we can select our settings gear icon to view all of our camera settings right here. Our resolution size as well. You can see we can get all the way up to 4k resolution 2160p. So that's great! Then we can look at the front. Camera video size as well same thing, all the way up to 2160p.

If we want, we could turn on high efficiency video. If we want to save some space or a device, video stabilization tons of options right there for us, we could reset the settings. We can go back out. You can see at the bottom —, regardless of the mode. We can swap cameras right there to activate the front-facing selfie cam.

We can also view our previously shot and captured footage. Furthermore, we have our record or our shutter release button. —, that's great! Now we can look at some more settings at the top. We have our flash. We have a steady mode on or off.

Then we can adjust. The aspect. Ratio I, like full I, think full looks cool with the full screen, and we have some beauty filters right here, and then we have a squiggly line for a doodling. If you want to do that, you can, and we can look at our photo mode. So same thing.

We have our two options for normal or wide, and you can see we have this icon right here too, so we can optimize for the scenes on or off same settings, icon flash. We have a timer right here, our ratio adjustment again, and then we have our wand for the beauty filters, pretty cool right, and then we have live, focus I'm, calling this portrait mode. So you can see we can adjust the blur, and we have the same features that we just looked at for the camera. Now, let's look at our gallery. We can check out some of our photos.

We took so they're pretty cool. Let's go back in. You can see them right here. Let's start at the beginning, so here's our first photo before we adjusted the aspect ratio. You can see them right.

There pretty cool, looks great. Then we started to tweak the settings right here, so we have macro mode, and then we have just regular normal mode, and then we have normal mode ultra-wide. So that's the same photo without ultra-wide and then with ultra-wide. So you can see the difference. We have therebeen a selfie I took today beautiful front-facing camera as well.

There's my ROG Doug. So same thing. We have our normal, then we have our ultra-wide. So pretty big difference looks amazing. Then we turned on what I'm calling portrait mode right here.

So you can see him. We can adjust the blur, and then we have a normal picture of a backyard. Then we have it with ultra-wide look at the difference huge difference, night and day difference. Then we have a video we'll look at later. Then we have some pictures.

At night, it was 9:40 p. m. the Sun had set still a beautiful blue sky in the rising, though you can see a normal photo at night, then we have, with night mode activated so pretty big difference between the two normal night mode. Then we have the same picture again normal, but it's ultra-wide and kind of see the difference. Then we have it ultra-wide and night, so you can see normal and wide night and wide.

There are perfect results with the camera upon first use in impression, so really cool happy with the results so far spectacular image quality for the price of this phone. Now, let's look at some videos, alright, so here's some of your raw test, video I'm, on a walk right now with my sweet baby Lanai and my ROG Doug right there, you can see we're on a walk. It's sunny out it's around noon, so a lot of Suns. This is the front-facing selfie camera right here with the raw audio and raw video unedited. In any way, I don't want to make this video dolled up or polish.

You guys can see what it's actually gonna look like for you, raw audio raw video quality right here, not doctored in any way. So we got 1080p sixteen by nine for the front-facing camera right here now we're taking that same video again with the front camera, but we got 2160p resolution right here, so we 4k resolution, so you can see the quality as we walk around during the day. It's right around noon here we're on a great walk right now, so everything looks great seen it through the screen really happy with the quality from what I'm seeing from the phone. But this is the front-facing camera unedited, audio or video in any way in 2160p 4k resolution. So here's the raw video and audio from the rear facing camera, sixteen by nine 1920 by 1080p fulled.

So you can see the video right here. There's my ROG Doug swimming in the river he's enjoying his time beautiful day. Here you can see some kayaks and canoers a little further down there. He is bringing me a stick that he just fetched. So this is the raw video quality unedited in any way, now we're taking the exact same video right now, but with super steady turned on, so we have super steady mode turned on.

You can see we're walking around the riverbed right here, so we have super steady, turned on we're just holding the phone in our hands, and you can see what I'm walking on. So you know it's not very easy to keep the phone steady right. Now. Here's super steady mode, there's Doug enjoying his time at the river. Then we can see the canoers down there.

This is super steady mode turned on so the exact same video settings as the previous video, but with super steady mode, turned on right now. So now here's 1080p fulled from the rear camera in normal settings. Now you can see the rear camera 1080p with the ultra-wide settings right here for video, so makes a pretty big difference of what we can frame in our shot. So now here's your video and audio sample from the rear camera at 2160p 4k right here. So you can see what we have at 4k 2160p, there's Doug swimming the beautiful river.

We can keep walking around for a second, so super steady mode does not work with 2160p 4k video. So here's your 4k 2160p sample video in normal mode. Now you can see our 4k sample video with the ultra-wide mode on right now, so that also makes a huge difference in what can fit in the frame for the video that you're capturing just for fun I'm taking a video in the dark. So you guys can see what it's like at night. So there's not much light surrounding me right now, but you can see what it's like in the dark.

Now I'm going to go ahead, we're going to trigger the backyard lights, so we can do that right now, and you'll be able to see what it's like with a big floodlight illuminating the yard to get a better feel for the quality of this camera in a low-light environment. Currently, we're shooting it with the rear camera 1920 by 1080p, with super steady mode on alright. So now we're going to test out the messaging app on the 8051. So we have the 851 right here, and we're going to text ourselves on a new iPhone SE 20/20 also on visible networks. Let's go ahead: let's try it out: hi David exclamation mark Bend, and there we go.

We just got it on the iPhone. Let's send a message back, maybe with an emoji, so we just got the text back no issues at all right there. Now, let's go ahead, you want to take a picture. Maybe let's do that. Let's take a photo, let's bring it around selfie.

We just took a selfie that looks great. Let's send that picture, it's sin, so the selfies on its way, while we're waiting. Should we go ahead and let's take a photo over here, love my ROG Doug right there. Let's send that photo back so it'll. Take a second for both images to arrive.

I can see on the iPhone this one's loading out right there and there we go we're downloading it right now, and we got the other photo. So look at that. Look at how easy that was. Everything works great with messaging. Now, let's try out the call quality, so the raw unedited audio coming out of the Samsung Galaxy a 51 as we test out the microphone and call quality of this device, we're on the visible network as well to make this phone call, but you guys can hear exactly how it sounds unedited in any way.

This is the raw mic audio. Let's go ahead, let's hold the phone out in front, let's talk in it for a second, because you may actually do this in real life, so you guys can see how it sounds just for fun. We can put it all the way out here too, to see how the mic quality is, and then we could position it all the way over here we could switch hands and do the same thing on the other side, but now we have it back up to our face pretty close to our mouth as we're talking now a little further away as well, but this is our raw mic audio test for the Tampa Galaxy 851. So here are my final thoughts about this phone. The screen wins the day.

It's my favorite feature hands down about this device. Honestly, it feels like I'm holding a Samsung flagship phone right here, but we're only in the series this screen is spectacular. I wasn't sure how is going to feel about the whole punch camera, but it works great with the screen. The design everything it doesn't bother me at all actually think the whole punch is really cool in a unique feature of this phone. I love having all the biometric options — and the embedded fingerprint sensor right in the screen is top-notch I love having that right there as opposed to a dedicated button on the bottom or on the back of your phone.

So you get some spectacular features at budget pricing, we're only in the series right here, and I love that they give us an ultra-wide lens and a macro lens. So that's fantastic I'll be using that ultra-wide camera lens all the time it takes perfect pictures at this price point I'm definitely impressed with it in the future, though, I would like to see a couple of things changed. I just really want pure Android like I, get on the pixel phones. Please! Please I really want that on this device, but there isn't that much bloatware and there UI is not that bad or anything either most people wouldn't notice or care, but I love having pure Android on my pixel phone. But again, that's my own personal preference and opinion and the one feature I feel like they're missing that this phone really needs, especially with everything else that they give us that's top-notch.

Is wireless charging I really want some wireless charging? Obviously I could say: I want you know more RAM and a better processor, but I, don't game or anything on my mobile phone. So I'm really happy that we got the 4k camera sensor on the front and the back of this device, so both cameras give us 2160p 4k. Maybe I'd like to see some improved video stabilization too, with the 4k settings that we only get with 1080p I'd love to see that with 4k for this phone. But that's because I like to take a lot of videos with my devices, because I use them to film my YouTube videos, but overall guys this is a solid choice for a mid-range phone. Well.
