REVIEW Lengkap Redmi 9T dari Xiaomi: Murah 1.89 Juta, Lebih Lengkap

We meet again on Jagat Review TV! When POCO M3 was launched, there were people who were fuzzy I wish it had the UltraWide (Camera) I wish the shape was different It seems that Xiaomi had listened to you all and said, Ok! Here it is, let me introduce it to you this is Redmi 9T This one has UltraWide Camera and a more elegant shape with the price range that is still low priced, Redmi 9T this latest Redmi smartphone is now available in Indonesia perhaps to upgrade the Redmi 9 with some very interesting improvements Let's see what the sales package looks like There's this one unit of Redmi 9T smartphone, a 22.5 watt charger, a USB Type C cable, a SIM Card ejector, a set of documents, and a card from Alvin, a phone case, and a screen protector that is pre-installed on the screen. Thanks to Xiaomi for installing the screen protector as well as a case at this price range For the design, it is called Luminous Aesthetic with a polycarbonate body that features an anti-finger print thus, the backside of this smartphone is not easily smudged by fingerprints For colors, it has Carbon Gray, Twilight Blue, and Ocean Green Of course they sent us the Twilight Blue one, for the dimension it is 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm with just about 198 gram in weight, so it is quite light, not too heavy. The body is splash-proof, but there is no ingress protection or IP rating. This is because the phone's surface is promised to be liquid-proof. But then again water or liquid may not enter from the surface of the body, but from the nooks and crannies from around the body's openings, ports etc. OK, Let's take a quick look, on the right side we have a power button that also double up as fingerprint scanner awesome, I really like this style there's also the volume button then on the top side there is microphone, 3.5 mm audio jack, speaker, and of course infrared blaster still available in this Xiaomi On the left side, we have the SIM Tray with two nano SIM Card and one Micro SD which means this phone is a non-hybrid that can use 2 nano SIM + 1 microSD on the bottom side there is a microphone, a type C USB port, and speakers Right, the speakers are located on the top and the bottom, so this smartphone has dual speakers For the front side, we have a 6.53" Dot Drop display, Full HD resolution 2340 x 1080 pixel This is an IPS panel, that uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification for your eye comfort. with typical brightness set at 400 nits and it also has color temperature adjustment setting It has Sunlight Mode, so when used under strong sunlight, it will increase its brightness to the max.

that is not used while inside a room. We also see here, there is an 8 MP Selfie Camera f/2.05 on the Dot Drop area, or on its fringe.... on its screen. its video recording can reach up to 1080p 30 FPS the earpiece is located on the screen's upper bezel it is combined with the speaker let's see on the backside It has the main camera, so called 48MP Super Quad Camera it consists of 48MP sensor on the main camera with f/1.79 with 0.5" width sensor then there is the 8MP UltraWide Angle camera f/2.2 with field of view 120°, and this is without Autofocus, while the 48MP camera uses Autofocus. and then there's a 2MP Macro Camera f/2.4 with fixed focus and a 2MP Depth Camera f/2.4 it uses LED Flash and for this system, its video recording can reach 1080p 30 FPS on its main camera, for slow motion it gets to 720p 120 FPS and for Macro it gets to 720p 30 FPS for its internal specification, it uses Snapdragon 662, the one that uses 11 nanometer which is the same chip as used in POCO M3 as well. for RAM and Storage option, the variant we have is 6 GB/128 GB but there is also another option of 4 GB/64 GB internal storage.

RAM used here is LPDDR4x Its storage is UFS 2.2 for the 128 GB variant, and UFS 2.1 for the 64 GB variant As I mentioned it before, this phone provides MicroSD, so it supports and expandable to 512 GB using the MicroSD if you want to. Battery is 6000 mAh charged at 18 watts, although The charger is 22.5 watt. It's not a problem, it won't cause any problem, because most important thing is since the smartphone requests 18 watts, charger's output will be 18 watts as well. it worth mentioned here that Xiaomi offers High Charge Cycle Count which indicates that this battery will last for years despite repeated charging cycles. With a weight of less than 200 gram, this smartphone is relatively light for the big capacity battery as mentioned before.

For OS, it uses Android 10, MIUI 12 For sensors, it has accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and e-compass too bad that the Gyro is not a hardware here Well for connectivity, it has 4G LTE. Still 4G LTE, not 5G it already has Wi-Fi 5 or AC, It has Bluetooth 5.0, and it also has FM Radio. How fun and of course, an infrared blaster Right, perhaps you have read it somewhere about a Redmi 9T variant that features NFC however, the one that is available in Indonesia does not feature NFC. That's too bad Next, we talk about the performance test from the performance test, we can see that from its AnTuTu 7 test, we get around 140000 and for its AnTuTu 8, we get around 182000 this is all done while the Wi-Fi is on. if we turn off the Wi-Fi, we could get higher AnTuTu result we've even got to around 185000 then as for the Geekbench 4, single core score is 1521 and Multi Core score is 5645 while for Geekbench 5, single core score is 316, multicore score is 1419 good result for Snapdragon 662 then for 3DMark Sling Short Extreme the graphic score that we got was 1027 then GFXBench - T-Rex Offscreen 1080p we got 35 FPS Manhattan 1080p we got 19 FPS let's continue to game test PUBG Mobile, how is it? default is only Smooth High then we unlock to Smooth Extreme and we got around 52 - 60 FPS once in a while it would drop to 48 FPS, so it's still very good so unlocked, it's still very good at 52 - 60 FPS still very good to play PUBG Mobile then we continue to Mobile Legend with settings at High and HFR On and HD we still got 58 - 60 FPS, it's quite stable and only once in a while it would drop to 52 FPS again, it's quite comfortable playing this two eSport games we continue to Minecraft in Minecraft we have to set Render Distance to 8 chunks and we find it quite stable at 56 - 60 FPS if the Render Distance is set to 12 chunks, yes... we can see further but it drops to 44 FPS if you don't have an issue with that, go ahead since the image is better because it' wider, the world feels wider Then for PES 2021 we set at Standard 60 FPS and we got the FPS at 53 - 60 FPS when we played the game then for Genshin Impact, don't think of putting it on Low since we put it directly on Lowest we raised it to 60 FPS who knows we can see and we got around 16 - 37 FPS, quite considerably going up and down and sometimes when there are big explosions the FPS can drop closer to ten if you want to play casually you actually can, not too much of an issue but of course.. it can't be super smooth, but again this is not the fault of it would be incorrect to say it's the smartphone fault, since other games can reach 53 - 60 FPS while this one can't it's because the game is very heavy ok, after this test let's continue to camera test, but I don't want to do it indoor so I will go outside first this is the selfie camera of Redmi 9T and I'm not using additional microphone or gimbal, not even tripod this is as is if you only carry the Redmi 9T the results will be like this I'm also not shouting so perhaps the sound is a bit low perhaps you can hear it yourself and you will also be hearing surrounding sounds since I didn't choose a specific time so just trying out, same as if you were making something like this it's a bit difficult since you can't assume the neighbour has to be quiet, stopping the traffic, just not possible.

So more or less this is the real thing Ok, so now let's try it as if I'm vlogging while walking around, let's try so no gimbal, no stabilizer, so more or less like this need to be careful then how about if there is a strong backlight, more or less like this. This is very bright so the sky is blue backlight was very strong, more or less like that and we try again now if we walk it's like this since there is no stabilizer, but what is the image result? How is the sound? Cool right This is the main camera of Redmi 9T, we take it for a walk we have to be careful because there is no stabilizer so we have to carry it carefully How are the results? Quite ok? let's see if it's like this details are ok, colors are very good, it can even be so close even though not switching to macro yet so details are quite ok it's just since there is no stabilizer need to be careful ok, now this is the Ultra-Wide lens of Redmi 9T it shows much wider, very much wider it's quite different from Wide lens but what is interesting here is that even though it's fixed focus but when close the focus is quite good, of course not too close because it will lose focus but still decent, how's the color? again, this is without the stabilizer, so need to be careful but for Ultra-Wide it's usually not too much of an issue for the absence of stabilizer, because it's more permissive if the lens is wide Ultra-Wide lens is fun Ok, this is the Macro camera which is of course is not autofocus so it's blur if it's not close let's bring it closer, this is 720p 30 FPS it has to be very close, at about 2 - 4 cm very close like this, then it's clear obviously, this Macro has no autofocus but it's fun at least if we want to record very close, we can Ok, this the Camera Menu of Redmi 9T in Photo Mode on the left we can see AI that we can turn On and Off, then there is HDR, there is an option of Auto or if HDR will be enforced then there is Flash on the lower side, then there is Filter and here is the menu there are various options here, we can make it 16:9 wide like this then if we choose there is Portrait as always, with Bokeh option then if we move it down there is the Auto Video mode which we can widen to Ultra-Wide as well we can return it to normal, or we can go forward a bit 2x Tele there but that's not the real Tele only crop same thing for the Photo we can choose Ultra-Wide we can choose Wide and we can choose 2x Tele then what is interesting here I want to show you in Pro Mode for the Pro mode this can be for Photo and above the Photo button there is a camera picture and if we change it to that we can change to Camera mode too so we can record in Pro mode using photo and (video) camera here we can also see the White Balance option, for Focus, then Shutter Speed that you can choose then we can see for Photo mode, we can see the Shutter Speed up to 30 seconds up to 30 seconds then for ISO we can see up to 4000, quite far then EF which means we can compensate to darker or brighter this goes to +4.0 or -4.0 which is very good and what's interesting in this mode is that the lens can be changed, we can switch to Ultra-Wide and still manual but in Ultra-Wide we cannot alter the autofocus we can see that White Balance can be altered, then Shutter Speed changes to 10 seconds, no longer 30 seconds then for ISO it changes from 4000 to 3200 then in this Pro mode we can also change to Video camera, whereas if it's wide we can see White Balance can be set there Focus can be set there, then Shutter speed can be set up until 1/8, it can't be any slower normal since if we want to record a video it's usually at 1/30 then there is ISO up until 4000 because we are using the main sensor EF can also be changed from +4.0 to -4.0 then we can also move it to make a manual video or Pro using the Ultra-Wide of course, there are changes too, like the fixed focus, speed at 1/8, ISO at 3200, +/- is constant but this is already very helpful because we can because we can record video in Pro mode, so it can be done in manual (mode) with these two lenses, unfortunately we cannot use the selfie camera unfortunately, we can't use the selfie camera here then the other option if we select More, there are options to make Short Video, Slow motion, the full 48 MP, Document photo, Night mode, Panorama and also the Time-lapse so, in the end for the camera we think it's quite decent not the best one out there but with the Ultra Wide lens or camera addition compared to the POCO M3, makes the Redmi 9T more functional more flexible daily use because Ultra Wide is very important and other features are also fun, like the Pro (mode) is still available at this price and many other features that we have discussed which are on average hard to find at this affordable price Ok now let's return to the studio Ok, how was the camera testing? Yes.. that is the difference, there is Ultra Wide Ok we continue to battery testing test using video playback 1080p we got result at around 21 hours of playing video again, this reflects the 6000 mAh battery and these results are similar to POCO M3 what is a bit different is when we Played Genshin Impact for an hour battery decreased rather big, around 14% but again, this result is rather good I don't know if the past testing of POCO M3 using Genshin Impact was rather different, because in between there was an update then continuing to PUBG Mobile, playing PUBG Mobile for 30 minutes it only reduced 5% it's so light.. the large battery function can really be felt here then regarding the charging time, unfortunately the charging time is quite long I am not surprised if the charging cycles are many, because it charges for around 3 hours so for this kind of battery if it lasts long, most likely you will charge it when you sleep so it's done, no need to worry about the fast charging once you wake up, battery is full and you can use it for a whole day it seems that it's not that much of an issue for the slow charging since the battery is big Ok, in another test we found that it already has Widevine L1 with Netflix it can do Full HD then for typing, the feedback when typing is much better then majority of smartphones at this price if you say that notch is ancient, relax there is an option to hide this, the middle one personally, out of three, I prefer the "Hide without moving status bar" option so the notification status is to the left and right of the notch but with black background, so the notch is not visible but left and right is functional when talking about touch delay, couldn't feel that and we also tried with Real Drum and we couldn’t feel a meaningful touch delay while for the touch screen it can accommodate up to 10 touch inputs as we have discussed earlier the FM Radio is available but remember that you need headset to use it and we checked and it doesn't have a hardware-based gyroscope, but uses soft gyro instead which is recognized by few games, but unfortunately it is less responsive well for maps it is fairly okay, since for maps we don't need to rush (observing maps) inside Redmi 9T menu, there is one very convenient menu, the Special Feature menu, a unique menu with extra features there is Game Turbo, which makes theoretic games faster We did some trial with it, and it did show some improvements albeit small. it also adds specific features for gamers then there's this Video Tool Box, and Floating Windows, if you need to have a floating windows on your smartphone's screen Then it has Second Space, for extra security, that you can use in case you have to lend your smartphone to other people Like when you lend your smartphone to your kid, so your main account is safe and secured Then there's Lite Mode, which is very suitable for those who want to have a simple display also suitable for use by elderly people, who need a much simpler display.

This works well. Now for the price, how much is it? Here it is. These are the official price range for the 4 GB/64 GB and the 6 GB/128 GB what do you think? It's really low price for this kind of capabilities, right? Ok if you ask what's the difference between this (Redmi 9T) and Redmi 9, we made some notes it's SOC is quite different, albeit similar in their performance they are head-to-head actually some are better in 662, some are better in Redmi 9's SOC Redmi 9 only has 13MP for its main camera, while Redmi 9T already boasts 48MP main camera as for storage Redmi 9 still uses eMMC 5.1, while in Redmi 9T, it uses UFS 2.1 or UFS 2.2 for its storage on Battery, we can see the stark difference, Redmi 9 still uses 5020 mAh while Redmi 9T now uses a 6000 mAh battery. and the new one (Redmi 9T) now has dual speaker these are the most obvious improvements, but there are also some small declines compared to Redmi 9 However, you can notice more of the significant improvements rather than the declines If you compare it to Poco M3 as we stated at the beginning their specs are very similar, the difference being Redmi 9T has UltraWide Camera, and the appearance is very different, style is different here you can see it as more elegant, sleeker, or more sophisticated, you name it one thing for sure its appearance is quite different One will notice that the charging process is quite slow for 18 watts in a 6000 mAh battery. It does take a while.

However, because the battery capacity is big, it shouldn't be a problem for daily use. then the absence of hardware-base gyro makes a lot of features are missing in this Redmi 9T such as camera is also missing here and this might disappoint some of you who are aiming for the one with NFC, because this one doesn't have NFC But then again, this is a low-priced smartphone For video recording is still limited to 1080p 30 FPS, however, it should already be enough. Because on average that's the quality you use anyway This video is even recorded in 1080p 30 FPS Then there is this uneven dual speaker volume, yet again, it's a such a gain to get dual speaker at this low price On its advantages, the phone's weight is fairly light for a smartphone with 6000 mAh battery The cameras provided are great, and the microphone is also good. and the display with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified is really easy on your eyes Widevine L1 is already provided here, so videos can be played in high definition the 6 GB/128 GB variant is reasonably priced it comes with this InfraRed blaster, then the 3.5 mm audio jack, non-hybrid SIM Card tray, FM Radio, it is a complete one. So, this is a smartphone with complete features at a low price Overall, I think this smartphone will be sought after in the market Low price phone, consistently great performance makes it even more irresistible.

Even so more compelling than the recent newsworthy POCO M3 due to the presence of UltraWide Camera and its appealing design that is more suitable for you who are looking for an elegant and more conventional phone in the end, this Redmi 9T is a very attractive phone considering its price Of course, such a smartphone like this won't be very easily acquired so, we wish you all happy hunting for you who want to get this Redmi 9T during this early launch time Our best advice is, keep an eye on all official Redmi channels in Indonesia Check on Mi Store, because that's where you can get it at normal price I am Dedy Irvan, Jagat Review TV.
