Retro Review: HTC Wildfire S + Comparison

Can you use a 2011 phone in 2017? That's the question, my god. One I found my old HTC Wildfire ass, which is from that year, and we're going to find out in this video. So that's the box of the HTC Wildfire s. Let's just have a look at the specs that we have, so it's a 600, megahertz processor we've got android with HTC Sense, that's version 2.3 under three Gingerbread forget half a gig of memory ram! It's just about 105 grams slide, three punch it in touchscreen, that's GPS, 3g and GSM 3.0. We've got a stereo audio check. So let me Michael your speed and a 5 megapixel camera autofocus.

Let's have a quick look at what's in the box, so I hope that up because it's quite difficult to open up with one hand so that out, so it seems like I've to put all the stuff. That's enough to good use. I've got a seal of some kind. That's us HTC void, maybe just send it into repairs. I've got a lot of paperwork so compared to today.

I, don't know, let's get a short you quite a long user manuals and that's the chairman version, and you can see HTC Sense on there, so you're not going to find that in my review, because I've already replaced it with a custom ROM, but I'm concerned. That's the French one! That's not like the Spanish one, let's see if a friend an English one as well nope, so some security, virtualization Jolson, that's German one! So now some phone numbers worldwide phenomena for Europe, it's quite nice. That I include a free one, thank ya so compared to Apple you can call them for free and that's some prime of orange information on there as well. That's definitely not while it any more yeah, and so let's have a look at the film you and there we go. So that's no sim card in it.

I've got a quick menu here. So that's just locked upstart. So we already see that it's quite a small screen really quickly. They could be worse menu, yeah expansion, that's the custom ROM! So on the original OS you would have HTC Sense or something similar yeah. Well, it's connected to the Wi-Fi, so we can open a browser I just how the pages load that's quite slow, but your dance and that let's just go type in see you so page, quite okay.

So there are no issues just playing its loading. Quite slowly and I, wouldn't say that's usable, but you can still do this. Of course, open up the camera and just take a picture takes quite a time and there we go, so I think that's horrible, you and red for punching. You that's on jellybean and for that phone that the most up-to-date OS that you can get on that it's not going to run anything further, and I know custom ROMs, G use! So yes! Well, that's the HTC Wildfire ass I was quite happy with the phone back. Then our G day is standard.

It's yeah, not so great the bad. The best thing, of course, is that you can see remove the battery which I can't because it's totally blocked in, and you of course have a headphone jack, but just to compare that G. Another phone, a few phones that we have today, so we'll just put that here- you can already see difference in size, see Sony, Opera, x8 all sorry, quite a lot bigger as well. We've got the Galaxy S6 edge, which is actually larger than the Xperia that has nearly the same screen size. So Sony did a perfect job on that Xperia phone in terms of screen size.

The found that I think this most comparable is the BlackBerry q5, and it's a quite small phone, but it has a, keep keyboard which isn't too bad. It's fully made of plastic the cameras as bad as the HTC One, but yeah. Well, it's a nice phone. So I hope you like that. Would you let me know which one you would choose today? What set H? Are you alpha? It's still usable, but it's not the first choice.

Well, you can get one of those for 150 quid on the internet on eBay I wouldn't buy it. I would just recommend something from starting from ? 5 s. I wouldn't go for iPhone 5, because that's going to lose the update, starting with Pius XI, that's coming in this summer, I can really recommend the Sony. Xperia said: l, unfortunately, that has not been available worldwide and what the Galaxy S6 edge is a perfect phone. The screen is amazing, but the battery life is really, really bad.

Well, yeah. Let me know in the comments which phone you would choose thumbs up. If you liked the video leave a comment, if you think I can do something better, and I'll see you in the next one you.
