Redmi Note 10 Pro Review! The Phone to Make Apple and Samsung Worry!

Hey everybody welcome back to tech odyssey. So today, I'm here with my full review of the Redmi Note 10 pro now, I've made a couple videos about this phone already, and I've really been enjoying using it. It brings a lot to the table for a very low price. Actually, the introductory price for the 64 gig model was only 269 dollars. That's ridiculous because you get a snapdragon 732g, which is actually more powerful than the 730. That's in the Pixel 4a, so you've already got that going for you very reputable you've also got a 108 megapixel camera, a 5000mah battery actual dedicated stereo speakers, one on the top one on the bottom and wait there's more.

It has a 120hz refresh rate, which is something that you typically only get with much more expensive phones and is a big selling point for like the new Samsung Galaxy s21, and you also get an AMOLED screen. Full HD plus so there's a ton in here and how they managed to do it under 300 is beyond me. If this thing were actually available to buy at a normal carrier in the United States, then Samsung and apple, and so many other people would be on huge notice like there would be some serious trouble there, and it's gorgeous. I mean it's a really nice looking phone anyway before we get into all this. I do want to say if this is your first time stopping by the channel.

Furthermore, I appreciate you being here if you enjoyed the video, please hit the like and the subscribe button and little notification bell. If you want updates when new videos come out, let's take a look at the Redmi Note, 10 pro, so I've given away most of the secrets up front already. I mean I talked a lot about the specs. It's got. A beautiful 6.67 inch, AMOLED display. That's really, really nice, not an LCD, it's actually an ammo lid, 120 hertz, refresh rate, which is really, really nice.

I love these enhanced refresh rates on phones. It makes for a really nice smooth scrolling experience, while you're using the phone it makes it just makes it look nice and smooth it feels very premium. It definitely is noticeable over the 60 hertz, refresh rate displays, and also it's great for watching movies and playing video games. Furthermore, it's kind of one of those things where you don't really appreciate it until you get your hands on it and use one, but once you go 120 hertz, it's really hard to go back, at least for me. Some people say: oh, I can't tell the difference, and maybe you can, but I can- and I think a lot of people can too stereo speakers.

The speakers on this thing are legit. Normally in the old days when you got like stereo speakers on a cheap phone, they were kind of cheap. It was kind of like oh, we threw them in there as a selling point, but they're not really all that good. But the speakers in this are actually perfect. I like them a lot, and they have lots of volume here I'll hit I'll turn on boom beach, because that's what I love to play so much- and you can hear this hey- the speaker.

Volume is actually really loud. It's great for playing games, it's great for watching videos. It really is a treat I like that, that's on here, and it's also on the top and on the bottom. Furthermore, it's not just the dedicated handset speaker there that doubles as a regular speaker. So they did a good job with that.

It's got a really nice sleek and premium profile on it. This onyx gray, color, of course, there's some other ones as well. Look really, really gorgeous, and then you've got the camera set up on the back, and I don't really know how I feel about this kind of silver metal. Look around the 108 megapixel camera. It really helps it stand out.

I mean you, can you notice it in a crowd from far away? You can tell that it's supposed to be special, but at the end of the day I don't know I's one of those things where they try to make it look nice, but it still feels a little on the cheap side once you kind of look at it, so I personally would have preferred that they just kept it the same as the others, but hey it stands out and let you know that it's there. It's got a built-in fingerprint sensor into the power button, so go and test it out. You can see it's nice and fast. Look at that! That's pretty quick, and it also has facial recognition technology. If you want to unlock it that way, it's just the bare minimum, the normal android facial, unlocking technology, but hey it works, and it's nice that they put it in there.

Because that's just one extra feature now it doesn't have wireless charging. It doesn't have reverse power share none of that stuff, but it does have a 5000mah battery powered by USB and if you are in the international community, it works out great because it comes with the included 33 watt power, brick, which is nice. This isn't like the new game that Samsung and Apple are playing where hey we'll take out the power. Brick we'll just give you a charging cord. No, they actually have the power brick in here rated for 33 watts, which gives you a pretty quick recharge whenever it comes to your 5000 ml battery, if you're trying to charge it with 18 watts, it's basically going to take twice as long.

So if you have a superfast charger, that's great so 5000 ml battery, it's got a snapdragon 732g under the hood, which is plenty of power. I've made two videos dedicated to showing off what it can do on gaming. It can play PUBG with no problems, nice and smooth. It can play Call of Duty mobile maxed out. Furthermore, it runs like a dream.

Furthermore, it's perfect. You can even play fortnite is not as high-end looking or feeling as a more premium phone. It's probably one of the most intensive games you can play on mobile, but on low settings it's still doable in a pinch. If you want to play- and you want to get a phone that doesn't cost an arm to leg, but definitely PUBG and Call of Duty mobile you're covered all day long. Now, when it comes to the cameras, you've got an ultra-wide camera on the back, which is good for you're big.

You know wide landscape photos to capture everything. It's got the 108 megapixel camera, which is really cool. You can reach out and take a look at stuff, and you've also got a 5 megapixel macro lens, so I'm glad that they went that route and didn't do the 2 megapixel, the 2 megapixel. I'm really getting tired of manufacturers putting that in phones, because it's just not that good. The five megapixel one, on the other hand, can take some decent, meaningful photos.

It can take like those National Geographic shots, as I like to call them where you can see little ants carrying the leaves you can see the dew drops on grass. You can see all the tiny little things in the nuanced detail of stuff up close that the normal eye can't normally capture. So I do like that. I think that it adds value. It's got a depth sensor.

You can take regular portrait shots. You can also do portrait shots on the front with the selfie camera. Now the selfie camera is actually pretty good on here. Unfortunately, it only records video at 1080p at 30 frames per second, and you can do 720. It's nothing to write home in the video department there.

On the back end, you do get 4k at 30 or 1080p at 60 frames per second. So that's really nice. The cameras, I do think, are very, very capable and take some perfect shots. I've been impressed for under 300. The quality is definitely there.

So if you want to get this as an all-around phone, you get all-day battery life because 5000 Williams paired with a 732g snapdragon, is a recipe for awesome battery life. Then you've got the six gigs of ram, which is more than enough, and if you want to pay more and get the higher end model, you can get eight gigs, but six gigs is totally fine and 64 to 128 gigs of storage yeah, that's decent enough, especially the price range, but it has expandable storage. It's got two sim card slots, so you can roll with two phone numbers in here, which is nice. It doesn't have 5g, so you don't have to even worry about that, whether it works or not the LTE for me and T-Mobile works perfectly fine. I haven't had any issues with it, and then it's running me UI 12, which is their latest and greatest version of android 11.

So this phone brings absolutely everything to the table that you could possibly think of in a six or seven hundred dollar phone, and it does it for under 300 bucks. Now I said this earlier this phone as much as it is a quality phone, and it brings a lot to the table. Also, I really think goes to put Samsung and apple on notice like Xiaomi is big. They are a big phone manufacturing company they have Redmi. This is Redmi is part of Xiaomi.

So when you look at what they're doing with Redmi in India- and you know globally if you pick one up, you look at Xiaomi, which is mainly their china brand and then also is in other places available as well as they push out into more and more areas. It makes it a really, really difficult decision to go, spend a thousand dollars or eleven hundred or twelve hundred dollars on a phone when you can get something like this for 300 bucks nowadays at 300 or less you're getting some seriously good stuff, I mean look at the Poco brand. Look at Xiaomi. Look at Redmi, look at there's a bunch of companies now that are really bringing some serious hardware and experiences to the table for so much less, and I think this is kind of some of those things that really affect the marketing and the strategy for bigger name companies like Samsung, I mean shoot with their new s21 series in the United States, they're, giving you 60 days to return the phone now 60 days like 60 day free trial, or if you look at their folding phones, you get up to 100 days. I don't think they'd be doing that stuff.

If these things were selling like hotcakes like if they were selling as well as they expected them to, they wouldn't be giving you these opportunities to try them out for a few months and see if you like it. So this right here, if you're interested, is a fantastic phone, I have really been enjoying using it. The speed and the performance are perfectly fine. It's not going to be something as powerful as a 765g as a 865, 865, plus a triple eight processors, but for anything under 500 bucks. It's going to be on par on the daily usage like kind of settings like the power and performance on this is perfectly good.

I keep relating it to the Pixel 4a, because the Pixel 4a in the budget market was definitely my best phone of 2020 pick. I mean it's such a good phone, so I know people will say: oh 732g, that's really not all that great, but then everybody was harping so much on the Pixel 4a, which has a 730g. You know this right here, it's toe-to-toe with that phone, but it has even more robust camera capabilities. It has a high refresh rate, it has a bigger battery, and it looks and feels much more premium. So I don't really want to hear that from anyone when they're like.

Oh, this phone doesn't do this. This phone doesn't do that because people were like drooling over themselves with the 4a, and I think it's a great phone. So I really wanted to try and tie that in here. Yes, this is not a phone that you can pick up at Amazon or Best Buy in the United States. You have to go to like AliExpress or pick it up off of eBay, it'll, probably cost you a couple extra bucks because someone's going to try and exploit that to make money off of you because they know you want to buy it.

But at the end of the day, this phone is stellar and I, like it a lot and under 300. I have zero complaints if it were a five or six hundred dollar phone yeah I'd be like where's, the IP rating. Where is the wireless charging where's? You know some of these things, but for a full 1080p plus resolution a LED, an ammo led panel and 120 hertz, refresh rate 5000 ml battery stereo speakers, a 108, megapixel camera. It's there's nothing else at this price point that I could recommend as strongly as this so and that's probably the best most authentic rating that I could give it. So if you have any questions or comments about this phone, please feel free to leave them down in the comment section I'll get back with you, this wraps up my review on the Redmi Note 10 pro.

I like it a lot, and I'm glad that I've had the opportunity to test this out. It wasn't out as a review unit. I was not paid for this. This is not sponsored, I'm not being compensated for this in any way. It's just my real effects and opinion, and I think it's good so, like I said, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them down in the comment section I'll get back with you.
