REDMI NOTE 10 PRO: MIDRANGE AMOLED GOODNESS (FULL REVIEW)

What is up everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is Janice creator for the attack that today we're going to be talking about the Redmi Note.10 pro now don't be confused. This is different from the Xiaomi mi note 10 pro. So this is the Redmi Note 10 pro. This is the proper successor to the ever so popular Redmi Note 9 series from last year, and I'm so happy to share with you guys everything that I know about this phone. I'm sure you've seen a lot of popular attack YouTubers already, but their note 10 pro videos, but hopefully I still give you a lot of value with the information that I'm going to be sharing with you guys here, but first off before we start.

Let me show you a quick unboxing video just so you guys would know what's included in the package, but basically you get the free soft case, the 33 watt charger and an USB type-c charging cable huge shout out to Xiaomi for still giving us a charger in 2021 at the bottom. We have a microphone, an USB type-c charging port and one of its two speakers on the right side. We have the power button with a fingerprint scanner on top of it and the volume rockers as well. Just a quick side comment: I'm a little weirded out by the fact that this has a side mounted fingerprint scanner, because this already has an AMOLED display, and we all know that with AMOLED displays, you can now integrate the fingerprint scanner under the screen, but yeah. That's just a quick side comment on that.

On top, we have the infrared blaster, a noise, cancelling microphone and the second speaker, as well as the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. Thank god. We still have a headphone jack in 2021 and then on the right side. We have the sim card tray, it's a dual sim card tray and a memory card slot. So this is not a hybrid sim card slot, so judo Xiaomi.

You did great on this one. Now, at the back, we have a quad camera setup, highlighted by the 108 megapixel main sensor, and then we also have an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle, lens, a 5 megapixel tell macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Now there is a label on the camera module right here. It says ultra premium and to be honest, it does feel and look like it's an ultra premium phone. The front panel is corning gorilla, glass, 5, and then you also have a glass back panel as well and mind you, it's so glossy that you can already see a lot of fingerprint smudges on this review unit that I have.

Let me just give a quick appreciation on the very small punch hole on this Redmi Note, 10 pro it's probably one of the smallest bunch holes you can find on a mid-range device. Now the fingerprint scanner on the Redmi Note 10 pro- is not the same as the one that they had with the Redmi Note 9 pro last year, because this one is already elevated, there's no special groove for the power button which some people might like, and some people might not like now moving on to the user interface on this. So this has mini 12 and android 11 out of the box, and maybe, unsurprisingly, it's very smooth now speaking of performance, this is equipped with a snapdragon 732 g, the same processor on the Poco x3. So I have to be honest when I heard that this is only coming with a snapdragon 732 g, not that the 732g is a bad processor, but the fact that there is already a snapdragon 750 g on the Redmi Note 9 pro 5g. I was a little disappointed if you are the kind of person who worries too much about an tutu benchmark points.

Then you're not going to be too happy with this one, because you only get about 250 02 benchmark points on this one, which is actually a little lower than compared to the snapdragon 730 g on the Redmi Note 9s and the Redmi Note 9 pro from last year, which I believe reached up to 275 thousand and two to benchmark points. But, as you know, I do have a review unit right here, so there might be a lot more optimization as the year goes on, but yeah. Ultimately, it's the same performance as with the Poco x3. So if the Poco x3 performed really well at the mid-range level, then this will perform just as well as the Poco x3. Now this is what I'm excited to talk about, because the display is absolutely gorgeous.

Now. This is equipped with a full HD AMOLED display it's not going to be the top level knee 11 1440p display that you might think of, but it comes close when it comes to the display on this, which is definitely something that you should heavily consider this for and on top of that, this has a 120 hertz refresh rate. And yes, this is absolutely 100 real 120 hertz, all right, no fake, 120 hertz. None of that, since this is an AMOLED display, expect to get infinite contrast in this. So black is really black.

There's no edge lighting that you'll see on this, which means you're not gonna, have any backlight bleeding issues similar to the Redmi Note, 9s and Redmi Note 9 pro, and while it's not going to be as bright as those flagship level phone displays, this will go toe to toe with your flagship phones. As you can see here now. I think the biggest advantage of the mi 11 is that it has. You know just a brighter display overall as compared to the Redmi Note 10 pro, but color wise and contrast wise, the Redmi Note 10 pro can go toe to toe with your flagship display. So for those who love watching videos on their phones, you're going to have an awesome time with the Redmi Note 10 pro alright.

So let's move on next to one of the biggest changes from the Redmi Note 9 series, and that is its camera. Now the camera on the Redmi Note 10 pro is better than the camera. On the Redmi Note, 10. We're also going to do a review on the Redmi Note 10, so you just have to wait for that as well. So yeah 108 megapixels on this phone is awesome.

I'm not sure if any of my words would justify how good the camera quality is on this phone. So I'll just show you sample photos in their full resolution in the Google Drive link in the description box. That way, we save some time as well for those who are really not interested in looking at the photos here on YouTube, but just quickly on the camera features in this. You do get a lot of photo filters and video filters on this one, and then on the video side of things you can only get up to 4k 30 frames per second, but there is as on this, so you do have a stabilized video at 4k as compared to the Redmi Note, 9s and Redmi Note 9 pro from last year, which didn't have stabilization at 4k resolution. As for gaming, we're not going to dive deep into the gaming portion of this one, because again, this is equipped with a snapdragon 732 g.

All the games that work well with the Poco x3 will work just as well on the Redmi Note 10 pro now. What I would love to point out, however, is the fact that this has a graphite cooling system and I really think it's effective, so it played Tangshan impact, PUBG, Call of Duty, mobile and mobile legends on this and the Redmi Note 10 pro was able to run those games perfectly. I didn't have any heating issue at all. It did run a little warm after some prolonged hours of gaming, but not to the point that I wanted to stop just because of the heat at the back panel. So in my experience of reviewing phones so far, this one runs relatively cool as compared to other phones out there and yeah for mobile legends fans.

This already comes with HFR as well as ultra graphical settings. Anyone who's getting this phone for gaming will definitely love the Redmi Note 10 pro all right. So, lastly, let's go ahead and talk about battery life on this. This has 5020 William hours of battery capacity, and it charges up to 33 watts of fast charging, while those are not groundbreaking numbers. Those are actually perfect specs on a mid-range device now for normal usage.

You'll. Definitely be able to squeeze out a full day's battery life on the Redmi Note 10 pro that's with a mix of some gaming, social media, YouTube videos and all that regular good. Now you can definitely expect to get a shorter battery life if you're on mobile data for the whole day. But if you're like me, and you're gonna, be using the Redmi Note 10 pro with Wi-Fi connection, then again, a full day's worth of battery is to be expected, and if you want to charge this from zero to 100, you can expect to charge this for about one hour and 20 minutes, and I think those are pretty good numbers at the mid-range level. Now before I give you my final thoughts, let me just run through a few features that I wish the Redmi Note.10 pro had so first off, it's not really a feature, but it's more of a chipset. I wish this had the snapdragon 750 g from the Redmi Note, 9 pro 5g, and the reason for that, of course, is number one.5G and number two, of course, is better performance overall and another thing that I wish this already had been Wi-Fi six, oh and lastly, of course, they should have included an under display fingerprint scanner for the Redmi Note 10 pro, but other than that. I think those are the only things that this is missing to become.

You know the perfect mid-range phone at this early point of the year, but I guess since Xiaomi left some features off of the table, then that gives the Poco series some wiggle room to overtake this anyway final thoughts. Should you get yourself a Redmi Note, 10 pro? Absolutely yes! Now, as of the time of this video, I have zero idea of how much this cost, but I'm assuming this is gonna, be around 300 or around 14 000 pesos here in the Philippines. So if I hit the nail on the pricing on this, this is going to be a great phone at that price range. Of course, I do still feel that the Redmi Note 9 pro 5g is still a great device, and I wish it came out with a global version, but as it is, the Redmi Note 10 pro is a great alternative to that phone, especially with its magnificent AMOLED display. It's a really very colorful and vibrant display that everyone who hasn't experienced an AMOLED display will love what they'll get with the Redmi Note 10 pro.

So if you want to get yourself a Redmi Note, 10 pro I'll leave all the links in the description box where you can get this, and if you want to see more videos about the Redmi Note, 10 series make sure to subscribe to my channel because I'm going to be putting out all of those videos. I might even compare the Redmi Note 10 pro and the regular Redmi Note 10 as this year. They do have more differences than similarities so yeah. If you enjoyed this video and found it helpful, please give it a thumbs up subscribe to my channel and hit that bell button. So you can watch more videos like this in the future.

That's it for today guys keep safe and have a great day hold on before you guys go. I just want to answer all of your questions about the Poco x3 and the Redmi Note 10 pro, which one should you get. I know you're very curious about that, and I know the Poco x3 is going on sale but, let's say there's at least a 3 000, peso difference or globally. That means about 60 dollars of price difference between the two. Should you still get the Redmi Note 10 pro, and I say yes, that relative small price difference is worth paying, especially if you're going to get an AMOLED display at 120 hertz, refresh rate and a 108 megapixel camera trust me guys? It's going to be worth paying that much more money on the Redmi Note 10 pro as compared to getting a cheaper both x3.

If the price difference is about eighty dollars or more just stick with the Poco x3 alright, so I hope I was able to clarify that, for you guys I'll see you in the next video you.
