Redmi K40 Pro Plus Unboxing | 4K By Hanscom Opey

Okay camera rolling uh window. Well, it's been a while, but I'm back a couple of months ago my phone just decided to die on me after three years of service. I think they just wanted to go on retirement from all the hard work it just died, and then it wouldn't turn on. It was an OnePlus 5t. I had been using for what, since early 2018 yeah, and it just died, I kind of knew it was going to happen. So I was already preparing to get a replacement.

Well, I decided to get the k40 pro plus from Redmi. I thought that would be the best value for my new phone for my needs. Initially, I got the OnePlus 5t for the same reason. At that time it was around five hundred dollars and the specs were crazy at that time three years ago, with 80 gram and all that there were some high specs, and now I got this for about and sixty 560 that's around. That translates to about three thousand three hundred series.

Well, there's no knife here, so I think a Caesar shoot so fast, all right and there we have it. Oh, there 's's two right here all right: well, this is a china only variant, so it was so scarce to get, and I don't know how rich flag managed to get it for me because, according to him, he had to pull some strings, and this was the only unit coming to a shop in his um city. So this might very well be the only g40 pro plus in my country over here, Ghana um. What do I cut all right? This is just a quick unboxing to see what we get in the box. Okay, our sim remover tool.

We have. We have the manual of course in Chinese, is a Chinese only device and then a CPU case. It's going to turn yellow after a while, but better than no protection. I guess, and then there is the phone itself. Oh, look here.

This is kind of some. I had some gradient effects, some aurora effect- I don't know initially I wanted the black because it had some design in their like some charcoal, and it looked like it reminded me of dark side and apocalypse, but then considering how it was so rare. Whatever the color I get, I was just going to take it like that. This also looks really nice. Let's put this aside every minute and then let's see what else is in the box.

Okay, are you seeing this apple Samsung, everyone else taking charges out of their box? This comes with a charger and then a cable of course anything else. I do not think so right all to the side, so we have the phone over here. I think this looks very nice, really, really nice I'll try and power it on okay. So this is a Redmi k40 pro class and there's a snapdragon 888 12 gigabytes of ram 256 gigabytes of storage, a 1080p display, and then the fingerprint sensor is on the side, not in the screen. I guess that's what they do to cut off some cost, and then you wonder how all these specs come in at 560 dollars.

Well, if you wanted these specs in other brands, you'll be paying so much more well. There are some things that are missing in this one like wireless charging and then not having an in-display fingerprint scanner. But those are things I can do away with, since this doesn't have any global variants. There isn't any official global firmware. You could flash just to get a rid of the Chinese OS like with the OnePlus.

You could just flash an oxygen OS, and then you're back to standard English and the global ROM. But that's not the same with this, but then gizmo have been. Cyber reviews have made some good videos on how to clear most of them out I'm going to follow their instructions, see how much of the Chinese we can get out yeah. So there we have it. Chinese boots were apps already.
