Redmi K40 Pro: Here's what we know so far

Hey, what's up guys josh here with your tech and specs of the upcoming Redmi k40 and Redmi k40 pro have appeared in the database of Chinese regulator Tenney, which gives us an idea of what to expect from these Redmi smartphones. This new k40 lineup will go official on February 25 in India. Meanwhile, Redmi's general manager, Lou Wei Bing, has revealed it through a teaser image posted on wave, based on the online leaks. The design is almost similar to the Xiaomi mi 11 and will be coupled with a flat display, which is touted as the most expensive flat screen, though we're not completely sure what this entails. So in terms of display, comparing it side by side to the mi 11, the mi 11 sports, a 6.81 inch 2k AMOLED screen with a 3200 by 1440 resolution and geared with corning gorilla glass Vitus, the Redmi k40 pro, on the other hand, allegedly packs a 6.81-inch AMOLED screen with a 3200 by 1440 resolution and is expected to have a 120 hertz, refresh rate and HDR 10 plus support. It will also reportedly come with e4 luminous material, which is the same panel.

That was used on the Xiaomi mi 11. For internal hardware same as the mi 11. We can expect it to be powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 8 chipsets, with an arena 660 GPU, 12, gigabytes of ram 256, gigs of storage and a 5 000 William hour capacity battery with 65 watts, fast charging support, given the snapdragon 8's onboard connectivity features, 5g connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 or 6e is also a no-brainer, and as for software, mini 12.2.2 based on android 11 is expected. The Redmi k40 pro comes with an interesting quad camera design. That's two big circles placed vertically with two more shooters and two small holes between them.

Sitting horizontally it'll reportedly consist of a 108 megapixel main with a 13 plus 5 plus 2 megapixel setup for the rear and a 13 megapixel shooter at the front. There's also a simple dual led flash on the side of the rectangular island for pricing, Xiaomi teased that the k40 pro will start at 2999 Chinese yuan or around 22 000 pesos. If directly converted, to give you an idea of its price, now take note that everything we talked about, including the specs, are all unconfirmed and or are based on speculation. However, assuming everything mentioned ends up being true, and you're eyeing to get the 11, then it might be worth your while to wait for the Redmi k40 pro as it has a better display, a solid quad rear camera setup, a bigger battery and probably a lower price. Now we'll find out on the official pricing of these devices on February 25, so stay tuned if you're interested on this phone.
