REALME 8 PRO EXTREME GAMING REVIEW + MAX SETTINGS

My boy manila: this is pope from manilashaker. com. The last time we tested the real m8 pros performance is about the 108 megapixel camera, and this time we will test its gaming capabilities as well. This mid-range smartphone from Realme still offers the same chipset as its predecessor, snapdragon 720 g, and it is paired with 8 gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of external storage, and the question is: will the snapdragon 720 g still enough to handle games in 2021, let's find out on our gaming review of the realm 8 pro? Let's run some quick specs of the device before we start our gaming test, it has a 6.4 inch, super AMOLED, full HD, plus display 108, megapixel, quad camera and again the snapdragon 720 g chipset. With a power efficient process. Its GPU is arena 618 clocked at 750 megahertz, our review unit configuration is 8, gigabytes of ram and gigabytes of storage.

It has a 4 500 William power battery that is paired with a 50 watt super dart charging for its battery. Considering the power saving AMOLED display, plus the power efficient, eight nanometer process will the four thousand five hundred million power battery last longer. We will start at one hundred percent battery for us to also see the battery performance. First, let's begin on some benchmarks. As always, realm smartphones comes with their own game, launcher going down the bottom.

We get to choose between low power mode balance, mode and competition mode. We will set it to competition mode to maximize its power. So, let's begin our gaming test. Our first game is Call of Duty. Mobile by default.

Settings are set to high graphics quality and high frame rate playing with its default settings. Performance was great. I didn't encounter any frame drops as well and no distraction now bumping up the settings to very high graphics quality and very high frame rates. Performance was almost still the same, although I did encounter some very little frame drops, but all in all, the game is pretty smooth, even if we bumped up the settings with 97 to 98 stability, although the device tends to get hot, but not to the point that it may hurt your device. Now, heading to our second game: PUBG mobile, our settings on PUBG mobile by default, is set to high graphics and high frame rates.

You can reach ultra frame rates by lowering your graphics quality to balance and smooth, but we will test it on max available settings and since we can't go higher, we will stick with the default settings playing. The game was smooth. I did encounter some frame drops, but not that drastic to the point that you may not even notice it. So even with the settings set up to high, we get 98 stability now on to mob games and started off with League of Legends. Wild riff by default settings are set to quality, graphics settings, meaning our max frame rate is 30, but let's go to custom and bump it up.

Let's put everything to max possible settings and test it out so far the gameplay is smooth, and no interruptions occurred, no frame drops and stuttering as well. Although again just like the call of duty, mobile device tends to go hot, but all in all, we reached the 60fps mark with 99 stability. Next is the more popular mob game, which is the mobile legends. This game can run even on the cheapest smartphone available, so let's bump it up to HD mode on HFR mode, on and high graphics, quality and test the game. Just like League of Legends, wild rev, the game runs pretty smoothly no stuttering and the frame drops occurred and no interruptions while playing.

We did hit the 6 fps mark with the same 99 stability as wild rift. Now, let's head to photo dabs and their power hungry games. First, let's start off with honkies impact 3. Our recommended settings are number 3 with medium graphics, high shadows and 30 fps on both combat and out of combat bumping. Everything up to high and turning everything on the game runs.

Okay, I did encounter some frame drops when casting our ultimate skills, but still the game is pretty much playable, so the game runs on 45 to 50 fps, with 96 to 97 stability and, lastly, genii impact settings by default are set to lowest. So, let's bump it up to the max settings available gaming with everything bumped up to max the gameplay is not enjoyable. You get frame, drops and stuttering on whatever movement you do even with high and medium graphics quality, but setting it to lowest. The game still got some frame drops but less compared to the settings bumped up by setting the fps to 60 still the same results playing on the recommended settings. We get 24 to 30 fps with 94 to 96 stability, and before we conclude after two hours and 30 minutes of gaming from 100 battery to 71 percent, so the 4 500 William power battery, plus the power efficient, chipset and power saving display are pretty good.

It can pretty much cope up with your gaming needs every day, plus charging the device won't be a problem, since it is paired with 50 watts. Fast charging the real made pro from 0 to 100, took us around 50 minutes so charging the device, if you are always on the go, won't be a problem. If you are into gaming, just grab some snacks and watch some TV and once you return, the device is pretty much charged already so overall, the real made pro can play those esports titles with pretty much max settings and me holographic, demanding games. Although the real m8 pro did struggle a bit on getting impact, even with the lowest settings, still everything runs great, so the snapdragon 720 g still packs a punch on its gaming performance so for the price of 1690 pesos, the real made pro offers good camera performance and high satisfaction. When it comes to gaming plus you get an ample display, 4 500 million power battery and 50 watts fast charging, so it is really worth its price, so that is our gaming review of the realm 8 pro.
