Razer Phone 2, Worth It In 2021? : 1ish Year Review By DG Entertainment
Hello everyone and welcome back to dark ford gaming entertainment, I'm of course your host, dark court and uh. Well today, I think it's about time for me to do a follow-up video on the racer phone too um been about a year give or take a month or so um. I can't quite remember to be completely honest with you, but I have been using this phone as my uh. Well, my phone, I figured out the little quirks. I've figured out uh what I was doing wrong and yes, that was user error, not phone error. I know apple praises people for or not praises people, but calls out people for their phone errors as it being a user error.
But it's not the case with this one. So to touch on that, I guess I should start with uh one of the issues from a previous video I was having where apps were not wanting to open and crashing upon being open, and that happened to be because I was having those certain apps on the SD card rather than on the phone storage itself, so that that was a problem for that and once I figured that out, got them all back onto the phone itself and quite honestly stopped using the SD card. Because am I really going to use what? How much storage does this have? What 6428 either way? I'm I'm not going to fill up the phone storage. I doubt most people ever will on a phone like this. So really at this point, having a SD card is a non-issue.
I do like having the option, though, on the by some divine intervention. I use the entirety of the storage, but again I highly doubt it'll ever happen. It's also nice. If I want to put game boy, emulation game boy, advance simulation stuff like that nice to have the option uh, but all in all its that's a hell of a phone. It's even now you're! Well, you can get much better, but you're not gonna need much better, and it's served me well.
So, basically, I wanted to make this video as a follow-up correction to previous videos and basically letting you know it's now.2021 is the racer phone still worth it to put in your pocket? Well, my humble opinion says absolutely. I still love the phone. I use it as a phone and sometimes play very non-demanding game. So I'm in no way pushing this thing to any sort of limit, and I guess that's probably about it- going to be a relatively short video, so uh yeah. I guess I could also put an update for you guys on my new office space.
As you can see, I've set up a door here made out of the uh paneling I've got in the back. I took down a lot of what was back there and decided: hey I'll, just superglue it to some cardboard and put the cardboard up there, so I don't have to keep using all my command strips and having them fall down. I got a nice little YouTube machine here. Furthermore, I've got it running Linux, mint on this tiny little box here, dual-core integrated graphics, all that fun! It's its not good! It's I mean it's great for YouTube. Furthermore, it's why I bought it.
That's literally it as a low-powered system. So when I'm at work, I don't have to create my head down to watch on my phone as well as it's nice using that Xperia browser to not give YouTube my ad money because of when they me on my pre-order event game and made tried to make me buy it again, and then I stopped giving YouTube money so yeah. I guess that's the end of the video new haircut uh, I'm going to try and start streaming more. I was sick for a while, but well I'm well enough to do this. Video, as you guys hear, I'm still alive and kicking and yeah.
