POCO X3 GT Unboxing and First Impressions

Welcome back to another video today, we're going to do a quick, unboxing and firsthand impressions of the Poco x3 gt. Now in its native china, this is the Redmi Note.10 pro 5g in Malaysia has been put into the Poco x3 series, making it the flagship model of that series before we get started. Here's a quick word about good deals by kg, our official e-store, where you can get all sorts of awesome gadgets, quick and easy. The best part is, you can get 10 ringgits off your first purchase, 0 installments with credit or debit cards from 100 ringgits, with IOU pay, plus free shipping. Every time click the link in the description box below to start shopping. Now, despite the box not being sealed, we can confirm that this is a brand-new unit and inside this should be your manuals and as well as your silicone cover for your phone as well as the sim ejector we're going to put this towards the side.

You also get a bunch of stickers that you can place on your phone or your backpack or your laptop, and it's all just Poco stickers, we're going to move on to the phone itself. As you can see, this is a brand-new unit still in its cover. I'm gonna quickly turn this device on and then leave it to site we'll get into how the device looks like in a bit, but before that, let's just take a look at what else you get in the box. Now this is the charging adapter. As you can tell, this is not the Malaysian variant.

When you buy the phone, you will get a three pin plug. This is a 67 watt charger which goes to tell you how fast this phone actually charges and, of course you have your USB charging, cable, no headphones and nothing much else to speak off. So, let's get into talking about the phone. Now the phones are the boss. Let's quickly take a look at the design, as you can probably already tell it doesn't look like any of the other Poco x3 smartphones, because it has the square camera bump, as opposed to the circular one right in the middle uh as you get on its uh other siblings.

But of course, as mentioned before, that's because this is a rematch of the Redmi Note 10 pro 5g in China, speaking of the camera bump. If you look closely, you see silver accents along the border of the camera bump here to add a little more flare. If you look at the top most portion of the back panel here, you see a silver, almost mirror-like finish that gradually becomes black towards the bottom. And if you look even more closely, you can see sort of silver speckles of what I thought was dust. But it's not it's actually part of the back panel design and if you know, look closely, it actually looks really nice sort of like granite premium granite.

If that's a thing in terms of how it feels in the hands, it feels great, despite being a large phone, it only weighs 193 grams and has an 8.9 millimeter thickness. The curved edges on the back panel makes it easy to hold um. It doesn't do anything particularly special, but it's not offensive at all. It feels good in hands, and it should fit in your pocket really easily as well. The display that you get here is a 6.6 inch, IPS LCD panel that pushes a full HD plus resolution and 120 hertz refresh rate that, of course, you can change in your settings like so simply head to display, and it goes from 60 to 120 in a single tab. It also has a 240hz touch, sampling rate, so swiping across the screen browsing social media.

It will feel very responsive when it comes to the panel quality itself. Colors look great. It supports DCI, p3, color, gamut and so far, while watching videos on this no complaints on top of all those features. What really makes it a flagship device is, of course, the use of the corning gorilla glass Invictus panel. That is, of course, the strongest piece of glass you can use for a smartphone display right now.

Next, let's talk about audio. This comes with a dual stereo speaker set up with support for Dolby Atmos, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it actually sounds and max volume it doesn't crackle. On top of that, there's actually pretty good amount of depth as well. The bass is actually not bad under the hood is a MediaTek dimension, 1100 5g chipset, meaning it's more powerful than its predecessor, the Poco x3 pro that we got previously in Malaysia, there's also 8 gigabytes of ram and up to 256 gigabytes of internal storage. This is a powerful enough chipset to handle all your mobile games with no problems whatsoever, except genii impact, we're not really going to test out the chipset in this video, but there will be a review of this phone coming up where we will go into more detail about how it performs when it comes to photography.

It has a 64 megapixel main lens and 8 megapixel ultraviolet lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor and after taking a few shots with the phone and as usual, of a phone that has a Xiaomi photography. Software colors are usually always a little over saturated, but on this device, dynamic range is actually not bad and details are retained quite well, even in 64 megapixel mode. You see lots of detail as expected over on the front, is a 16 megapixel selfie lens that honestly looks pretty good. Even when you turn on the Pok?mon the background object. Separation is actually pretty decent.

It doesn't eat up too much of my hair but yeah. The subject itself is very detailed. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how well the selfie lens performs here now. Of course, this is just a very quick hands-on of the phone. We will go more into detail about the photography performance of the phone in our official review coming soon powering.

All this is a massive 5 000 William hour battery that supports up to 67 watts of fast charging. Now, as mentioned earlier, the charger itself does come in the box, so I reckon charging up a battery. This large should take about an hour, maybe less with that kind of fast charging support. Poco x3 gt looks like quite a promising phone. I can't wait to actually start using it and present the review to you and let you know actually how this phone performs across the board.

Now at the time of recording, we actually don't know the official price of the phone yet because it hasn't been launched, but uh do stay tuned and uh keep an eye out on our comment section on description box, below where we will tell you the pricing and availability of the device. So let us know what you think about the Poco x3 gt down in the comment section below remember to like and subscribe to our channel. It's victor signing off.
