It's, the an tutu throttling test can the Poco f3 deliver. Let's have a look hi guys, it's Frankie from Frankie tag, good to see you guys again and back today, after a short break with my an tutu throttling test of the Poco x3 pro the Poco f3 and the Redmi k40 pro, and for the first time ever we will be testing the snapdragon 860, the snapdragon 870 next to the snapdragon triple eight. Now, if you're new to this type of test guys, this is to measure the sustained performance of these chipsets. I will be very curious to see if these phones are able to sustain performance in a better way than the snapdragon triple eight which, let's face it, has had some major overheating and other issues on phones like the Xiaomi 11. So let's not waste any time and get started with this an tutu throttling test. Okay, folks, so getting started with this test, and you can see we have the CPU monitor on all of these phones.
I also have max brightness settings on all these phones, and we will be measuring the battery depletion during this test as well, and just so, you see it's around 23 degrees in this room and here's my trusty Poco f1, which will serve as the timer. This should be roughly a 40-minute test. So let's get started with test number one on these phones. Here we go okay, guys test number one completed surprising result there, the Poco f3 completing the test in first place, but let's look through the scores now Poco x3 pro at 485 000. Poco f3 at 622, 000, Redmi k40 pro at 725 000.
So these are the benchmark, scores, and we'll be comparing these scores to the test. Number four score now: checking the CPU monitor of these phones, 47 degrees, 48 degrees and 45 degrees, so surprising that the Poco f3 is the warmest in test number one, but they've all stabilized at around 42 degrees and now checking the ambient temps of these phones, 37.1, 39.6, 40.2. So pretty interesting result, and now, let's go to test number two on these phones. Here we go all right. Guys test number two completed there: it is the snapdragon 860 and with 437 000, but look at this a Poco f3 still above 600 000 and the Redmi k40 pro at 700, 3 000.
It has dipped around 20 000 points so far and now, let's check the CPU, monitor, 61 degrees, 49 degrees, and I think it was 48 degrees there. That was nuts was that correct. I've never seen a score that high now measuring the ambient temps, 40 degrees, 41.8 and 43.5 so surprising, to see the Redmi k40 pro still has its display at max brightness. Let's go to it test number three and let's see if these new chipsets are able to stay in these higher level scores here we go okay, test number three still waiting here on the Poco x3 pro, and now we see the Poco x3 pro completes with a score of 413 000 and the Poco f3 is now at 575 000, still a solid score, considering where it started. But look at this k40 pro.
I did not expect this phone to show up these new chip sets at 692 000 after test number three. Now, let's go to CPU, monitor of these phones, 56 degrees, 51, and did I see 49 50 degrees there? This Poco x3 pro is actually getting plenty hot, and I would say of these three phones. The Poco f3 with the snapdragon 870, is staying the coolest of the bunch. Now I'm measuring the ambient temps, 41 degrees, 42.6 and 45 degrees on the Redmi k40 pro. But let's do it guys test number four to wrap up here.
Let's see which of these phones wins this an tutu throttling test. Here we go all right test number four waiting on the Poco x3 pro, but look at these results guys. I'm astounded we've been waiting to see how the snapdragon 870 performed in this test, and I think the Redmi k40 pro just showed it up and here's the Poco x3 pro score wow and what a dip guys 368 000 a monumental drop on this phone. Meanwhile, the snapdragon 870. I will give it this.
The Poco f3 stayed at 565, but look at this k40 with 686 000. It has dipped the least of these three phones incredible and now checking the CPU monitor of these phones, 54 degrees, 52 and 53. So all of these devices have now really gotten hot and checking the ambient temps of these phones, 41.9 degrees, 43.4, 46.3 and just from feeling the hand the Poco f3 is definitely the coolest of the three, with the k40 pro, definitely being the hottest. My gosh and the x3 pro is kind of in between, but being a thicker phone with a larger surface area. I think it has dissipated heat more effectively.
So that's it for this test. Let's wrap it up here at 44 minutes and now, let's talk about the results, all right guys. So the final verdict of these phones- and so, let's start with third place here- the third place phone finish is the Poco x3 pro and this device got pretty warm guys and, with the final score drop from 485 to 368 the only phone that dipped over 100 000 points. It also got pretty warm under the pressure. Look.
The snapdragon 860 seems like a pretty great chipset, but you can tell here by test number four. It definitely started feeling the heat and severely throttled its scores as a result and in second place surprised to say it, because I did think this snapdragon 870 in the Poco f3 was going to win this test from everything. I've heard that this chipset delivers, and it stays cool under pressure. That was completely true up to test number two, but then, after test number three and four, we started seeing bigger dips and completing the test at 565. This phone dipped over 60 000 points, which is pretty significant and the Poco f3 would definitely win staying the coolest award here, but if I could only give it to one the winner of this an tutu throttling test in a surprise, shocking result here guys is the Redmi k40 pro with a snapdragon triple eight on board.
Yes, this phone heated up, but look at this display. It is still bright. This phone dipped less than 50 000 points from start to finish and because it was able to sustain performance in a shocking turn of events. The Redmi k40 pro is the winner of this an tutu throttling test incredible, but not so fast guys. We do have one other award to give out, and that is the battery award.
And if you look at these results, the Poco f3 is the phone that dipped the lease from 100 to 84 and the Poco x3 pro was in second place at 83. Now the snapdragon 8 definitely did well on this test, but it definitely suffered more in battery life dropping to 76. So you can decide how much weight you give battery performance in this anti-d throttling test. But these two phones definitely did a better job here over the Redmi k40 pro, but hit me up in the comments which phone do. You think won this test, and are you surprised, as I am, that the Redmi k40 pro was able to stick it out here with the Poco f3 and managed to take the win hit me up in the comments? I'd love to hear about it and that's it for this video, if you liked it give me that thumbs up and if you love the content of Frankie tech subscribe to the channel hit, the bell icon for future updates stay tuned, guys for more great content on both the Poco f3 and the x3 pro here on the channel.
