POCO F2 Pro Full Review - Still Worth It in 2021?

What is up friends on YouTube and welcome back to the channel, and this right here is the Poco f2 pro okay. So this is Poco f2 pro polo's flagship of 2020, which is considered to be the most underrated flagship of the year. I wasn't able to do a review with this device due to the fact that it was too expensive, but we have it here right now, starting with the unboxing okay, so taking the lid off, we get to have a welcome packet that houses, the sim ejector tool, the warranty and user guide a complimentary jelly case. That's rather firm, as opposed to the flimsy jelly types, an USB type-c cable for charging and data transfer and a 30 watt fast charger. Now here's the device itself with some major highlights, specifically the snapdragon 865, with 5g and liquid cool technology 2.0 a 6.67 inch AMOLED full screen display paired with a 64 megapixel AI quad camera configuration any 4, 700 William hour battery would support for 30 watt fast charging now on paper. This fits the flagship category in 2020, so this variant is the electric purple variant.

Personally, I prefer this over the common cyber gray variant that a lot reviewed. I think the electric purple has more character on its own. Both front and back is covered with gorilla glass 5 and the back portion has this matte, like finish, which is less prone to fingerprints and adds a bit of grip towards the right. We have the extended power buttons and volume rockers up top. We have a 3.5 millimeter, headphone jack apple, Samsung, headphone jack, an IR blaster, a secondary microphone for noise. Cancelling and a pop-up 20 megapixel front facing camera towards the left is clean, with no additional buttons and down at the bottom.

We have a sim card tray that houses, two Dino sim cards, a primary microphone, an USB type-c port and a bottom firing mono speaker in front. We have a 6.67 inch, ammo display no notch or punch hole around back. Furthermore, we have a quad camera configuration which consists of a 64 megapixel wide lens, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide, a 5 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel depth, sensing camera setup, all of which are placed in this circular placement towards the top center, which gives it a unique look with a LED flash now, since this was originally released back in 2020 out of the box, the Poco f2 pro comes with mini 11. , so there was quite the number of software updates. I acquired the minute I connected the device via Wi-Fi.

General performance is smooth, despite not having a high refresh rate, the fact that it has flagship specifications. Everything is fast from opening and closing apps to going through the UI. Everything was snappy all around one thing that I actually liked that the Poco f2 pro has that the current fly ship, which is the poker f3 didn't have, was the anti-flicker option. So basically, the anti-flicker option is the lowering of the flickering of the screen in low light situations. This feature is often found on higher end devices, with an AMOLED display.

The reason why this is important is it may not affect a lot of people, but I am one of those who get easily irritated with looking at screens in darker conditions like when you're about to sleep or play games when the lights off. In addition to the display, because there is no notch or punch hole, you get to enjoy watching content on the Poco f3 pro sure. Not a lot of people agree with the pop-up camera, but the design itself does serve a purpose and provide a certain level of satisfaction when consuming content. Now gaming on the Poco f3 pro will provide the same level of comfort like the Poco f3. It can run pretty much any game available on the Google Play Store at max setting and because it comes with liquid cool technology, even with extended hours of gameplay, the device itself doesn't heat up.

It does get a little warm after 2-3 hours, but it doesn't stay warm thereafter, which is amazing now, in terms of photography, the Poco f3 pro does also come with a decent set of camera. Shooters. This, in my opinion, is where the f2 pro excels. More over the Poco f3, it has a set of fairly more capable shooters and video recording is no slouch either. It is capable of shooting videos from 4k 60 to 8k 30, which is very impressive for the price point.

Here are a few samples for your viewing pleasure now, overall, I'd say the Poco f2 pro is by far one of the best flagships in the market. To date, sure it doesn't come with a high refresh rate, but personally after having to use smartphones with high refresh rates that feature degrades to the point that you won't notice it as much after a period of time using one. So to me, this is a very worthy option to consider, especially if you want a device that you can game on, take decent photos or basically just enjoy watching shows, with no distractions from punch holes or notches. And yes, the electric purple is a stunner in person and is quite different from other smartphones. That has the shade, plus the fact that you could get a pop-up camera, which could also serve as a party trick.

If you want to show off with friends on how you do face unlock with a more futuristic approach, though at this point in time of 2021, it may be a bit difficult to acquire one. And yes, the Poco f3 has a more attractive price tag. Even for the 256 gigabyte model. Links are in the description down below thanks again for watching. If you did enjoy this video, give it a thumbs up and a sub to the channel would be very much appreciated.

This is Chris once again from crisis point, and I'll catch you in the next. You.
