POCO M3 Hands-On and First Impressions [SO MUCH VALUE!!!]

Poco phones are known for value for money. If you want to make the most out of our budget, then we often consider their products. Is the Poco m3 another win for the brand? Let's find out, hey guys, welcome back to the channel where we take awesome out of the box. My name is Leia, and this is our unboxing and first impressions of the Poco m3, but before we get to that, here's a quick reminder to subscribe to the channel and hit that notification bell. So you don't miss out on any of our videos again guys. This is not a review.

I literally just got the unit a couple of minutes ago, but I do want to share my first impressions and of course see what's inside the box as well, because I'm just that excited. So let me quickly show you what's inside this bright, yellow box. Okay, so we have the charging brick, the USB cable, the documents that you definitely want to keep a jelly case, a screen protector. So good luck putting this on and the sim ejector for a quick tour of the device. You get speakers on top an IR, blaster, a 3.5, millimeter jack and a microphone on one side. You get the volume rocker and the power button that also serves as a fingerprint scanner.

Although this phone also has a face unlock feature and on the other side, you get the triple slotted sim tray at the bottom. You get the USB port, another set of speakers and another mic before we go any further. Let me mention the price: it's very affordable. It's only 6990 pesos for the base variant, that's the one with 64 gigs of storage. But if you want to go all the way to 128 gigs, then you just have to add a thousand pesos.

So that's seven thousand nine hundred and ninety, so this will be available starting November 27 on Lazada, so mark your calendar, so they have early bird promos that you may want to avail of, and details will be in the description box below now. Let's talk a bit more about the Poco m3, starting with the design. I think that it looks very edgy very catchy, and it's definitely different from most smartphones. I've seen this year, and it has one of the biggest camera bumps, not that it's a bad thing guys. Actually it's like Poco owned it, and they just put their branding there.

They extended it, so it looks symmetrical. It just works and while the back is made out of plastic, it has this nice leather look and feel to it. So it just appears more premium guys and look no smudges. We got the black color variant, although it's also available in polo, yellow and cool blue, and I really want to see the phone in that color. Now, let's move on to the display, the Poco m3 has a 6.53 inch, FHD, plus dot drop, display again expected in this price point. I think it's pretty good guys the colors are decent punchy.

Even I must say, though, that the notch is bothering me a bit probably because I'm so used to punch holes, because most phones these days already have that, but again, Malayan Silurian also guys its good that this phone has gorilla glass, 3 protection for the front, although it does have a screen protector that you have to install yourself out of the box. But good luck with that, because I've tried that so many times, and I've failed in all attempts. Mobile entertainment is never complete without good audio and the Poco m3 has dual speakers. Both are hi-res certified, but if you prefer using your wired, headphones or wired earphones, it does have a 3.5 millimeter jack, as you may have seen during our quick tour of the device for the internals, the Poco m3 runs on the Qualcomm snapdragon 662 chipsets here in the Philippines. It has two configurations: the one with four gigabytes of ram, plus 64, gigs of storage or 4 gigabytes of ram plus 128 gigabytes of storage.

It's expandable, though, up to 512 gigs, which is always a plus for people who never delete stuff from their phone or just tend to download a lot. Furthermore, it runs on mini 12, based on android 10. In my short time with the device I find that it can handle the usual stuff, like email, social media, photography and light apps with no problem, but I know that the boys of the team are itching to see its gaming capabilities so guys, if you want our gaming review, we should have one in a couple of days so do check back or better yet subscribe and hit that notification bell. So you know as soon as it drops. As I mentioned earlier, this phone has a pretty big camera bump and this houses the three rear cameras with a main one, at 48 megapixels, with an aperture of f 2.0, there's a 2 megapixel macro camera with an aperture of f 2.4 and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is at 8 megapixels and the Poco m3 has night mode, 120, fps slo-mo video among other camera features.

Guys here are some sample shots. Let me know what you think, so this phone has a huge 6000 my battery. So for my usage, it can last me two days even more actually, but of course it will depend on how heavy or light you are and using your smartphone. But I seriously doubt if you can drain it in just one day: it does have 18 watt fast charging feature, but considering the size of the battery it'll take a while going from zero to 100. So I know the kids here are so used to superfast charging, but back in the day, um back in the day, we would plug our phone before sleeping going to bed, and we just unplug it when we wake up in the middle of the night or when we wake up in the morning, and we're all set for the day.

So I'm guessing that that old school trick would work for this smartphone and guys it also supports reverse wired charging. So what do you think of the Poco m3? Is it another win for the brand, or is it a phone that you would consider getting yourself or your loved ones? This Christmas, let me know in the comments: that's it for the video guys, if you like it, give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel hit that notification bell, follow us on Facebook and on Instagram. My name is Leia, stay, safe, happy and healthy. Everyone bye, you.
