Pixel 4a vs Galaxy a51 speed test By Serby Waffles Tech

All right guys welcome back to my channel all right. I'm going to do a quick speed test between the galaxy a51 5g and the Google Pixel 4a. Now the Samsung is running the Enos 980 chipsets, while the Pixel 4a has a snapdragon, 730 g, all right. Let's go ahead and put these phones up count of three one. Two three goes: let's see which one's going to get there faster all right. It looks like the pixel got there by a hair, all right.

So all right now, let's go ahead and uh. Let's go ahead and put the brightness up here on this one all right put that brightness all the way up all the way up, all right cool. Now, let's go ahead and start off with the phone apps one two three go think they're about the same: let's go to messages, one two three go about the same: let's go to camera, one, two: three go about the same! All right! Now: let's go to YouTube one: two three go about the same wow: these phones are neck and neck guys all right. Now, let's go to play, store one two: three go about the same: all right: let's go to uh: let's go to Gmail yeah! Okay, let's check that out here. One two three go and I think the pixel is a little faster all right.

Now, let's go ahead and do a game. Let's do a heavy game, asphalt, 9. , all right! So let's go ahead and do that. Okay, one two three go: all right looks like the Samsung got there faster by a couple seconds. Actually, so that's actually very, very good for the Samsung right there with that uh Enos 980, so you can definitely run some games on this phone guys.

So if you had any doubts about the Enos 980 chips, that's a great ship, because if you guys remember when I did the OnePlus 7 pro against the Pixel 4a, it was neck and neck. So the Enos is doing a good job here, guys, let's go back to uh an tutu here all right! One, two three go all right! Now: let's look at the an tutu benchmarks. Now this one I'm scoring 282 000 on the a51 5g, we got 323 000, which is right around the same score as a snapdragon 845, so you're getting a lot of phones here, guys for uh. Let's go ahead and stop that you're, getting a lot of uh power out of this phone. Let's go ahead and take a look at the GPU, so the CPU right here is 114 000 versus 97 000.

So this one actually has a better CPU, so this one's more equivalent to the 765 snapdragon than it would be the 730 and the GPU on this one's also better and the ram is better and the graphics card's better. So if we're looking at just pure specs uh, I think the Samsung 851 5g beats the Pixel 4a. That doesn't mean that it's going to beat an everyday performance, because I use both these phones and um. I mean they're, both fantastic uh. Sometimes I don't get any really lag, but I do get a little stutter, but not really from a lag.

It's just. I think because uh the Samsung UI that I'm using, if I put the pix launcher on the on here, it's going to give me a smoother experience. So I do like the pix launcher whenever I can use it, but I've been using the Samsung UI right now for a few days, and I'm actually really digging it because it gives you so many uh features just from the just from the menu up here that you can use. So many things that you can just go ahead. You can power the phone off right from the menu up here, which is fantastic, so Samsung's Samsung's good, I'm not the biggest Samsung fan, but I'm actually impressed with this phone.

If you're going to get either one of these phones. Now the pixel is going to give you longer term support. You know this one's just released with the android 11. You're, most likely going to get up to android, 14. And uh with Samsung.

You know you're going to probably get to android 12 uh, maybe 13. - I don't know, but this one's going going to last you a little longer, but both of these phones are fantastic. I like them both guys uh either one you choose it's a matter of preference. Um speed, isn't really an issue because they're both equally fast. So I hope this helps guys until next time.
