Pixel 4 XL Gaming Review // COD Mobile, PubG Mobile & Fortnite!

Hey guys, thundery here, and I know you guys been waiting for a gaming review on the pixel for Excel, the latest smartphone from Google, and it comes packed with a lot of features, especially on the camera side, with the 16 megapixel shooter. It's got all that AI engine and that stuff you don't care about. What we care about here is gaming, and this is powered by the Snapdragon 805 processor. Now you've got up to 6 gigs of ram, so we have to see how well that actually helps us out here. While we gave now in this video we'll be checking out. Basically three games, the three big games, which are called you T-Mobile pub G mobile as well as for tonight, to see how well the pixel for Excel handles.

Now it doesn't have any special cooling, but it does come with a 90 Hertz display and Google has a setting that allows you to go between variable frame rates from 60 to 90 Hertz, but you can force it to 90 Hertz with the developer options, activate it. So. Put that in mind now the battery is 3700 Williams. So we'll see how all that handles and of course we look at temperatures and see how well the speakers sound. So without wasting more time, let's check out pub G mobile Call of Duty mobile, of course, and change it back is in the lead, so I think overall, the pixel for Excel is an okay gaming device.

I mean it's built specifically for taking really great photos that it does that really well, but when it comes to gaming, specifically, the 90 Hertz display is great, and I'm glad it's there, but also it's very dim. It's got a Max make brightness at 425 mixes, which is much lower than a lot of smartphones out there. So if you're, playing in direct sunlight or even actually in daytime you're going to be fighting a lot to deal with this display now in terms of overall performance call duty mobile, isn't that tasking. So it actually ain't mind that really well, and they did a good job with that game, as well as also pub G mobile, though that's when it started getting really high. Now, temperatures on this device ran up to about 102 degrees, which is much harder than its other counterparts in the flat rate smartphone market granted.

This doesn't have any special cooling, there's, no special cooling layer, there's no liquid cooling or anything like that we have on say Galaxy devices, but that's just something to take them. Now that 37 mm battery does drink quite heavily, especially if you locked your refresh rate at 90, Hertz you're, going to see a huge body drain on this device. So the two things that really come to mind is that, because it eats up pretty quickly, your battery drain is going to be pretty big. Now in terms of fortnight, which saw last game we played here, you got to see fortnight run well, but there were some hiccups and drops in frame rates. Now, 49 has a cap at 30 frames per second, while your motor plane on the mobile device so seeing that dip in frame rate wasn't something I'd like to see, especially on a Snapdragon 855 device, which we know can run the game very well.

So, for me, the pixels for Excel is a not so great gaming device. It's good enough for your casual gaming, but if you're going to spend time playing games like whole unity, mobile fortnight or pub G mobile, you might want to look elsewhere and use your pixel for Excel to take some really great pick. So if you have any questions or any comments guys, let me know if there are the devices you want me to check out in terms of gaming here.
