Pixel 2 4K Cinematic Camera Test! [Graded][HandHeld]

Hey's next from Holland and recon, where we get I mean today, I took the pixel to out off for some shooting everything. Handheld I also did bring. My slider I had some problems I'll go over that after you watch this video, and we'll go ahead and talk about some advantages and disadvantages of the camera on the pixel -. Anyway, let's go ahead and take a look at the video. Let's go. Does this baby ready to do this Wow? He is and is perfect on a long board perfect.

Just following my daughter, peony, my long board and every time, I do a white interesting. Why hi guys I hope you guys enjoy this video? Let me give you a quick wrap-up of what I thought of the pixel to camera. Um. First, stability has indeed gotten better from the original pixel. The shots when I was taking with long board I was really amazed.

It was like it's on Rails I actually couldn't tell it was not on my gimbals. So that really amazed me um, but I did find that in low-light conditions the stability is nowhere. The same it actually analyzes each frame at a photo and that's how it crops out all the in stable parts, and you wait to make most use of it. I'm just used it with a lot of light, and you'll get the best stability. Also, the scene where I'm going around my daughter's head you'll, see it's very, very smooth.

I mean I, have game balls for larger cameras, I think the pixel too may even get better results than using a gimbals. That's how good it is. The only problem I see with the pixel 2. All first is that it's slightly orange, so I actually have to color grade. Most of my footage to remove some extra orange some shops.

I couldn't, I'm, not sure what the color science on this is I. Think that's just a minor thing. You should think about. Also photos get a little warmer, but you could probably fix it easily in post, but, like I said some shots, I couldn't actually fix it because it was too yellow um. So that's the only problem, I see also number 2, unlike LAB 30 or the node 8.

The pixel 2 does not have a native manual camera video camera, which means you're stuck with 30 frames per second and there's no manual focus. So even though the camera is awesome, the low-light capabilities are awesome. It doesn't have the proper software to actually make professional quality videos with the pixel 2, whereas the V 30 or the node a can now manual recording comes in huge, especially when you have controlled lighting. That way you can set everything manual, especially macro shots or something you don't want. The focus hunting from autofocus little things like that.

But that's what makes a great video that you're able to control your camera, not just having the best low-light capability on a phone, but I really love the pixel 2 stabilization. It was amazing. Now I did bring my one of my cheap sliders. That's one of those plastic sorts of sliders and I did some sliding shots. Basically, my footage became like a big wave in certain places, so I turned off the electronic stabilization.

The EIS- and it still was doing that with do- is if you're going to use, sliders or actual professional stabilization gear, because the pixel to stabilization is so damn sensitive, I mean literally corrects itself with micro shakes. So if you're gonna actually use a gimbals, I would actually avoid pixel ? they're colliding with each other, and they don't work well. But the good thing is handheld. This is the absolute best smartphone of use with amazing stability better than those aged b34 4k, video wow. It is awesome, it's like having a gimbals in your phone, so this is all in software and Google has really been working on it, and it seems to show off, even with their front camera portrait mode, which is amazing by the way, all right also I did color grade the footage.

Most of the footage I'm just slightly I, didn't grade a lot or anything like that. But if you do want to see the original, no graded video of this video I post that video on my other channel high on Android, so go check out that video. If you want to see the original colors off the pixel ? camera anyway, still in love with my pixel tube, my pixel 2xl is finally coming. I'll have an unboxing so stay tuned for that, but if you can't afford pixel ?, you can always grab the Google HDR camera APK, just google. If I also have a video on that, and then you'll be able to get pixel.

Twos HDR feature right on your phone anyway have a great day and, as always, stay.
