OPPO Find X3 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra vs iPhone 12 Pro Max - Camera Test and Comparison

Welcome to leave a live. This is the iPhone 12 Pro wait. No, this is the apple fine x3 pro the latest flagship smartphone. That features two main camera sensors that can capture 10-bit photos together with 10-bit screen. Colors is the word that apple used for the main theme of this phone and that's exactly what we are going to talk about, even though the camera module on the fine x3 pro looks like a mirrored image of the iPhone 12 pros, it has its own unique features that makes it unique. It comes with a 50 megapixel main sensor, 50 megapixel ultra-wide that uses the exact same sensor just like the main camera, the 13 megapixel telephoto with five times hybrid optical zoom, and the last cherry on top is three megapixel microscope camera with 60x magnification yeah.

You heard it right, it is 60x magnification. I got to say that the camera specs sounded super impressive. There are two main sensors and the micro lens is really fun and interesting to use. It is literally a microscope integrated into your phone. The focus distance is literally millimeters from the lens.

It has a very shallow depth of field, making it extremely difficult to focus. Oh, and there's also a little ring light that helps illuminate the subject when you get really close and your phone blocks all the lights. Here are some photos from the micro lens, oh, and to be clear, we didn't kill the mosquito it died before we even found it. However, I don't think this feature will be used. That often most of us don't need a microscope in our daily routine anyway.

So now, let's talk about the other cameras. This time we bring the apple, fine, x3 pro against the iPhone 2 pro max and the s21 ultra to see if the two main sensors will be able to go up against the two biggest boys in the market. Right now, the Oppo can shoot 10 bit photos, but in this test we didn't turn on the 10-bit mode for the apple fine x3 pro, because we can't upload the 10-bit photos to YouTube and most of us don't even have a 10-bit display. Anyway, converting 10-bit photos into 8-bit might cause a quality loss plus by default. The Oppo is set into 8-bit color anyway.

Now, let's kick things off with dynamic range and detail. The dynamic range on 3 phones are very comparable. All of them really do well. Balancing the super bright highlight and deep dark shadow, but if you really pixel peep, you will see that in the really dark shadow, the Oppo appears to be a little better at exposing more detail within the shadow followed by the iPhone 12 Pro max and s21 ultra. On top of that, the Oppo photo contains the least noise in the shadow area amongst the three.

However, here the Oppo find x3 pro appears a little underexposed compared to the other. Two shadow in some areas are crushed, while the iPhone and Samsung still maintain details quite well for the details, I would say the 12 pro max and the s22 ultra is really close, while the x3 pro lagging behind quite a bit. There is too much digital sharpening to be seen here. Switching to the 108 megapixel on the s21 dramatically increases the details that it easily crushes these two phones, even though the fine x3 pro has a 50 megapixel sensor. I can't find a way to take 50 megapixel photo anywhere, so we are stuck with a 12 is megapixel photo the ultra-wide sensor on the fine x3 pro is the exact same one on the main lens, so is it going to obliterate the ultrawide photo on the other phones, not exactly compared to the iPhone 12 Pro max and Samsung s21 ultra the fine x3 pro produces similar photos.

I wouldn't say it is particularly any better, but the details and noise is definitely superior to the two, but looking at it as a whole, there is no obvious difference that can instantly tell that this is a better photo now for the main thing, the color, the Oppo tends to have a deeper saturated and contrasted look for the majority of the photo, and this is a pattern that we can see throughout every photo taken from the apple vine x3. The white balance is really inconsistent. Sometimes it's warm. Sometimes it's toward the cool look on the Samsung s21 ultra. There is less consistency which is probably due to the scene optimizer, which process each scene differently.

There are times that it will look flat and there are times that it will look really punchy on the iPhone is really different. It is generally flat. The white balance is obviously warm which sometimes looks horrible most of the colors look neutral, but the iPhone, often over saturated the yellow and the orange the consistency across the lenses of the apple fine, x3 pro is not great, even with the identical sensor between the main and the ultra-wide, the color does not match the color on the ultra-wide camera tend to shift towards blue-green tint and yellow green tint on the telephoto lens, the s21 ultra. However, the color consistency is pretty good from the ultrawide lens all the way to the 3x optical zoom, but on a 10x optical zoom lens. There is a heavy cool tone to it now, on the iPhone.

The ultra-wide lens has a little blue shift to it, but between the main lens and the ultra-wide is pretty much the same story now. Moving on to the low light is where things get interesting, the apple fine x3 pro by default is really underexposed. It's like it's trying to save the highlight and doesn't care if the shadows is crushed. Things are pretty well-balanced on the s21 ultra with color that looks really close to what it actually is, and overall exposure is pretty good. The iPhone, just straight up, looks yellow, like really yellow.

The color is really messed up here, but the overall exposure is still better than on the OPPO. This is probably the problem for the iPhone's camera app that tends to over saturated the yellow light, pretty much every time which looks awful. But who knows you guys might love that yellow color here the fine x3 pro is really underexposed that I had to tap on the building to make it exposed, like the other two phones. Now, the detail on the Oppo is a lot better than the iPhone and on the Samsung. The noise is a lot more controlled here as well night mode- probably kicks in here, but if we compare it to the default photo from opp, it is really underexposed, but the noise is still better than on the Samsung and if we turn on the night mode, this is what it looks like details and noise improved by a margin on all phones.

The looks on all three phones depends a lot on how each brand configures the post-processing- so, I would say, choose whichever you like personally, I prefer the s21 ultras photo, but now, let's take a closer look at the details here, we'll see that the detail on the Samsung is the worst amongst the three. The lines on the windows are all mushy. The Oppo is a little better and the lines on the iPhone is really well maintained. I bet you guys remember this plan from our previous video. We use this plan to test portrait modes.

All the time and the Oppo came out perfect. The find x3 pro can separate the subject from the background with no flaw on Samsung. There is one very obvious area where it's blurred out the leaf and on the iPhone, has one less obvious part of the lift blurred out. So if we talk about portrait mode, apple wins. So, to sum everything up, the new Oppo find x3 pro does take a very great photos in every scenario.

Define x3 pro really brings out the color in everything they are very deep and vivid, but sometimes the color gets altered and not very accurate to source two main sensors for me isn't worth it. The difference is it's not even that significant they should have used those resources into fine-tuning, a better software. The micro lens, however, is a very great additional feature. This is probably the first macro is camera that I enjoy using in a daily basis. However, all three smartphones are no doubt the best camera in the flagship bracket, but each came with different approach to photography, and it's up to you, the buyer, to decide which one you like the most.

So that's about it. What do you guys think? Which one is your favorite comment down below and, as always, don't forget to leave a thumbs up subscribe and ring the bell icon to see more great contents in the future. See you guys next time stay safe.
