OPPO Find X3 Neo 5G Smartphone Review

Welcome to my review of the Oppo find x3 Neo 5g smartphone, full disclosure. This was very kindly sent in free of charge by the manufacturer, no monies exchange hand. They haven't asked me to say anything in particular, nor have they asked to pre-approve this video, I'm just going to share with you my opinion of this smartphone. So on with the review, this is the Oppo find x3 neo5g and what you're seeing here is the box contents with the box on the left here rather understated classy, looking box, that holds all the contents, the main contents, of course, being the phone of course, but we do also get some paperwork, including a quick start guide. Let me just grab this here, so we get a bunch of paperwork. This is going to guide you through getting up and running with the phone.

We also get this piece of card which contains the sim removal tool and then very nice that we get a silicon case. This is going to keep our phone scratch and dent free. Then we get the phone itself which of course we take a closer look at in a short while, and I'm in the UK. So I get a three-pin UK power plug with USB on this end. If you're in another country purchasing this phone, then you will get a country specific power adapter, and then we get the actual cable itself.

Let's just slide this out, so you can see one of the connectors one is USB so like full size USB and then the opposing end is USB. So you get everything you need inside the box, of course, to get you up and running now the phone itself wow. This is a very, very high spec phone. Now I'm not going to run through all the specifications. Let's just unlock this with the in-screen fingerprint sensor, but what we get is a really large screen.

First, 6.55 inches 2400 by 1800 resolution, 90, hertz or 60 hertz, refresh rate on the screen as well, so super smooth scrolling. It really is buttery smooth. This is a very responsive, really nice smartphone now in regard to the cameras I'll cover those very quickly. Now, on the back quad cameras main one is 50 megapixels on the front we've got 32 megapixels inside we've got 65 watt fast charging and a snapdragon 865 processors, 12, gigabytes of ram and also 256 gigabytes of ROM, which is the storage capacity. External memory is not supported on this.

You can't put memory card in there, but 256 meg gigabytes is absolutely fine. Now the rear camera we're going to talk about in a short while, but let's just take a look around this smartphone and talk about the quality a bit. So, first, the screen very, very nice screen good off axis viewing angles. This is its lowest brightness at the moment. Believe it or not.

It goes up super bright, so no issues seeing this indirect sunlight, very responsive as well. As I mentioned earlier, we get all the Google apps pre-installed, including, of course the Google Play Store. So you can install pretty much what you want. We have got obviously buttons around the device we have got on this side volume up and down on this side the power button, which has got a nice little green, highlight to it. I like that across the top, pretty plain, apart from a little tiny microphone uh on the bottom edge.

Here we have got USB for charging sim card tray microphone, speaker and that's pretty much it. So we haven't got a three and a half millimeter audio jack on this phone is lacking. That particular feature. Let's take a look around the back uh. Let's go into a little more detail about these cameras.

So, oh, first, before we do the cameras, the finish on the back, it's got a nice texture to it, which I really like. It's not glossy. So that's that's! A nice change from the glossy backs that we normally see. So the camera is obviously the flash, and then we've got like a quad array of cameras, 50 megapixels for the main one, which also supports uh optical image. Stabilization we've also got uh 16 megapixel ultra-wide 13, megapixel telephoto 2 megapixel macro with fixed focus.

Maximum 4k, 30 or 60 frames per second video capture, and then the front facing camera has just unlocked to show you this. You can see the little tiny cutout in this top left-hand corner. This is 32 megapixels, f, 2.4 with an 80 degree field of view, and that supports up to 1080p 30 frames per second now, you've seen me during parts of this video unlocking with the built-in fingerprint reader that works exceptionally well, it does also support face recognition, unlock as well and running all the business end of this is android 11, with color OS 11.1 over the top, so their flavor of android. It just works exceptionally well, let's pop this into the case really nice that they include a case as well. I do like it when manufacturers do this, so let's have a look at some of the photos I took, which I didn't take too many, but they're they're there to demonstrate some perfect features of this particular camera, which is very responsive this one I take just to show how it picks up highlights, and it's done a good job.

It's kept detail in the shadow areas picked up where the light was hitting this as well, very, very nice indeed so good result there less than optimal lighting conditions, good focus, good detail. This was using the two times zoom as well, very, very pleased with that this one I took for some color accuracy, and again it's really picked up. Those colors exceptionally well very pleased with that result, and then last but not least, I just wanted to see if it could pick up some of the dust that's built up on my PC, and it has you can see just in this grill here, which needs a good clean. It has picked up some of the dust that's accumulated in there, so it's good at picking up the finer details in photos. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all with the camera performance on this particular smartphone.

Overall, the fit and finish of everything is good. The quality feels good, the screen's awesome great value for money, and it runs along at a nice speed, you're going to get a good performance from the battery as well, easily a day to a day and a half between charges. I think that Oppo find have done a great job with their x3 Neo 5g smartphone, so that is it for my review. I hope you enjoyed it if you did hit that like button check out the links down in the video description area to where you can pick up this for yourself and also, of course, a link to the manufacturer's website thanks for watching everyone, I really do appreciate it. Furthermore, I'll see you all in the next one.
