OnePlus Watch vs OPPO Watch - DETAILED COMPARISON | OnePlus Watch - Should You Buy?

Hey guys slowly but steadily, users are getting more attracted to the smartwatches. Recently we have a new smartwatch in market, which is one plus watch and there's a lot of confusion around this watch. Now global users are very happy with the pricing and overall features of this OnePlus watch, but on the other hand, Indian users are not very pleased with this OnePlus watch. So in today's video we'll compare the classic OnePlus watch with the Oppo watch now I'll be talking about the 46?mm variant of the Oppo watch as I've used it personally, and it's also in the same price range of the OnePlus watch. So let's get in so first, let's start with the design. OnePlus watch comes with circular dial.

There are two buttons on the side of the watch. The body of the watch is made up of 316l stainless steel, which is very lightweight. There are floor elastomer straps in the classic OnePlus watch now talking about the Oppo watch. It comes with a squarish dial. We have to admit that the look of this watch is heavily inspired by the Apple Watch.

Its body is made up of aluminum. It features floor rubber straps. The Oppo watch is slightly lighter than the OnePlus watch, which weighs around 40 grams, whereas the OnePlus watch weighs around 45 grams. Talking about the display, OnePlus watch features 1.39 inch, AMOLED display panel. It's a 2.5 d curved display panel. Currently, there's not any option for always on display, which is a bummer.

OnePlus has not specified any sort of screen protection in the classic OnePlus watch, but its cobalt edition comes with sapphire glass, but that also costs more coming back to the classic OnePlus watch it has different watch faces to choose from now for the Oppo watch. It has a bigger 1.91 inches dual curved AMOLED display panel. It's an always on display panel, which is nice. This display is protected by Scott glass. It also has many interesting watch faces now.

OnePlus has not mentioned which processor is powering the OnePlus watch. Some news outlets are reporting that it features stm32 chipset, but there's no confirmation about it. On the other hand, Oppo watch is running Qualcomm snapdragon via 3100 soc. Now it's not running the absolute latest snapdragon 410 chipsets, but it's good considering the price point plus it works flawlessly. So nowhere is here.

The OnePlus watch has 1gb ram and 4gb internal storage, while the Oppo watch comes with 1gb ram and 8gb internal storage. So Oppo watch has that extra storage talking about the sensors, both the watches, have almost similar set of sensors. OnePlus watch has acceleration sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate and blurred oxygen sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor and capacitance sensor, whereas the Oppo watch features three axes accelerometer sensor: gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric pressure, sensor, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor. Note that Oppo watch doesn't have a blurred oxygen sensor, which is very useful. Considering the current corona situation.

Now the OnePlus watch runs RTS, that is, real-time operating system and Oppo watch features google's Wear OS as a result of these different operating systems. There are some changes in smart features of both the watches. Both watches can receive all sorts of notifications like incoming calls messages, WhatsApp or Facebook notifications. You get the idea. You have the option to quick reply to notifications in both the watches, but you can make calls in one plus watch.

I mean you can't dial the number or select the number and make a call, but Oppo watch gives you the option to make a call as well as receive calls. So keep that in mind. You can control musics with both the watches. For now, you can pair the OnePlus watch only with the OnePlus birds, so that's kind of weird, but that might change in the future. But currently you only have option of OnePlus birds.

On the other hand, Oppo watch lets you pay any earbud that you have, so that's handy. Both watches have GPS. Now some news outlets are saying that OnePlus watch has Wi-Fi and NFC, but there's no official word from company, and I also can't find any strong evidence suggesting the presence of Wi-Fi and NFC in one plus watch now. OPPO watch has support for Wi-Fi, and it also has NFC. So you can make payments through the Oppo watch using NFC.

The OnePlus watch comes with 5 ATM and official ip68 water and dust resistance rating, but Oppo watch is only rated for 5 ATM, so you get extra protection with the OnePlus watch. OnePlus watch also supports Bluetooth 5.0, whereas Oppo watch supports Bluetooth 4.0, which is a bit older version. Now talking about the battery department, OnePlus watch is packed with 402 my battery OnePlus claims on a single charge. OnePlus watch can last up to two weeks that is around 14 days, which is very cool. It also supports warp charging which can charge this watch real, quick OnePlus claims.

You can get 7 days of battery backup just in 20 minutes of charging. The Oppo watch, on the other hand, is juiced with 430 my battery. This watch also supports folk charging, which can charge this watch to 40 in just 15 minutes, and it takes around 40 minutes to charge the watch completely. The battery usually lasts around 30 to 35 hours. That is a single day and a bit more.

But that's my testing and my usage is quite heavy, so with heavy use. Also, you can easily get one day of battery backup with the Oppo watch, which is still less than one plus watts claimed battery backup of 14 days. For now, you can use OnePlus watch only with android devices. It doesn't support iOS devices, but Oppo watch supports android as well as iOS devices. The OnePlus watch is available for 17, 000, rupees or 150 euros or 150 us dollars, but in the first sale it's available for a lower price of 15 000 rupees plus.

If you have SBI credit card, you can get additional discount of 2000 rupees. So you can get this watch for as low as 13 000 rupees and I think it's the best deal but keep in mind. This lower price is only for first sale. The Oppo watch is available for 18 000 rupees, so I guess I've covered almost every point. If you think I've left any.

Let me know in comments down below now. If you are still confused and wondering which was to choose, let me make it simple for you. If you have one plus device or if you want one plus experience, if you love classic circular watch design, if battery backup is your main concern, if you want to take your watch in gym or in water while swimming, and if you have the budget because that's very important just go with the OnePlus watch, but if you want a slightly bigger display, if you love resemblance to Apple Watch, if you always need on display, or you want more functionality from your watch, if you want more on board storage and if you want a watch in which you can use Google services and google apps like Google Play Store, Google Pay, Google Assistant and more just grab the Oppo watch. It will be perfect for you now. If you ask me, here's my take on this, and it's just my opinion.

So if I'm given a choice to choose between the OnePlus watch and Oppo watch, I will go for the Oppo watch because it fulfills my priorities like I always want on display google services, and even I like its design more. So that's why Oppo watch is the perfect watch for me, but hey that's just my priorities. Yours can be different and based on that, your opinion may be different and that's perfectly cool. So I would love to know your pick. Let me know in comments down below follow me on Twitter at techxtrj, so guys, that's it for this video.
