This is twit the initial embargo on this lifted this morning, and it is a wearable. It is a OnePlus watch which uh OnePlus, you know they. They announced the nine and the nine pro the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 pro uh weeks ago. At the same announcement they also announced the OnePlus watch, but they know they hadn't sent it out. They weren't, ready to kind of like take. The know, go, go completely to the point of putting it in people's well, putting it on people's arms uh yet and uh this morning, so that basically, the embargo today is basically just showing that it exists and talking a little about the hardware.

I've been using it for a few days, but I can't really talk about the experience necessarily, but I can kind of show it off because um as you can see it's a little like it's, it's definitely a large watch thickness wise though I'm trying to my camera's a little far away. So it's kind of hard to hold for you. Now that's working thickness wise. It's not like a crazy, thick smartwatch compared to some of them that I've had on my wrist before, but you can see just like the size of it. It's a pretty large and wide uh smartwatch, so uh 46, millimeter, uh stainless steel case.

That's what I said: glass on top yeah yeah, it's a nice profile I have to say, but I think it's probably going to be for certain. You know size wrists. Essentially, it's not going to work for every wrist um one gig of ram four gigs of storage. Two of those four gigs are accessible for things like music and stuff. You can move music onto here, and then you know, connect a Bluetooth, uh, a Bluetooth, headphone uh directly to it, and so you can stream your music and leave your phone at home.

When you go for a run, that sort of thing a 402 William hour battery does have a charging puck. So you just drop it right on the charging puck, and you know it starts charging um and ip68 uh. So that's water and dust resistance. So it's a pretty! You know. This is really there.

It seems like they're targeting this for um for active, proactive people. So you know, there's more than 110 different workout types that you can, that you can support with this uh different modes for tracking different types of workouts, and you know running your running pace and all that kind of stuff. If uh, you know maybe you're in the gym or maybe you pre play cricket, I noticed that cricket is a setting. So if you play Christmas, you're you're, you're, solid here, GPS uh, does blood oxygen, saturation, monitoring, stress, detection, breathing training, uh, rapid heart rate alerts. It does the thing where um you know after an hour, it tells you to get up and walk around, so you got that as well.

Um 159! So it's not! That price is. What gets me. That's that's awesome yeah, that is, that is a night. That's a lot of good features for that price. Yeah! Absolutely, and you know, OnePlus has long been the value brand.

There's a lot of people wondering if maybe that value brand identity is uh, is on the way out with their phones. You know because their phones keep getting more and more expensive, but definitely it seems like with the wearable at that price 159 dollars. They offer a lot um within this uh. Smartwatch so uh available. Now with right.

They yeah, I believe they announced um nowhere OS this. This is running android but they're. Not officially. You know it's not officially running where OS google's wearing less so yeah yeah, yeah, absolutely and uh yeah available for purchase April 14th. So I obviously have the screen set.

Oh, yeah see I've got my music and I could stream that through to my headphones, and it looks snappy too yeah yeah, it's and I have to say it's a's. A sharp looking design, it's um, not bad, especially for 159, so I'm going to be doing a full review of this for hands on tech next week. Uh is, is my hope, um, so uh yeah. I guess that's. What's called more coming on this at some point next week, but uh you can purchase it yourself April 14th.

If you want to get in on it, that's exactly a month or sorry a week away from today, so uh yeah the OnePlus watch there. You are 159, not a bad price. You.
