Hey guys welcome back to another video. Today we are going to compare how the snapdragon 765 g in the OnePlus note, compares to the 865 in the OnePlus 8 pro without any further delay. Let's look into it. I have a camera test in the works and a full review for the OnePlus note as well. So if you're interested in watching all that consider, subscribing and hit the notification bell without any further delay, let's watch the performance comparison between the OnePlus note and the OnePlus 8 pro. This is Reyes and let's take that out all right.
So OnePlus claims to give flagship performance to the OnePlus note, and you should not have many problems, and it should run smooth even after three years it is promised a good update cycle and OnePlus usually holds up to their promise. So I'm optimistic about the same. So, let's see if the OnePlus not does hold up against the 8 pro, even though it is not as superior in specifications compared to the 8 pro. Let's quickly unlock the phones, you can see that both the fingerprint sensors are equally fast and seamless to use. So, let's quickly do a reboot test and meanwhile I will tell you about the specs of the phone, which will probably matter in the speed test.
The difference in processor between the two is the eight pro has snapdragon 865 word has the 765g OnePlus 8 pro has UFS 3.0 storage, whereas word comes with UFS 2.1 storage, OnePlus 8 comes with lpddr5 ram and OnePlus not comes with lpddr4x ram. Also, the OnePlus 8 pro does come with Wi-Fi six, whereas OnePlus not comes with Wi-Fi five. You will see the difference when I show you a particular speed test so over here we have a common platform which makes us realize that the specifications will only make the difference as oxygen. Os is common for both, as you can see here, both reported very fast and almost at the same time. I do not see a clear difference and winner in this case, so here are the list of applications.
We are going to go through to test the speed test. Let's clear out the ram, it should be clear that all the factors are considered equal in this apart from the specifications. So here you can see, no app is in memory. So let's get started with the speed test. First, let's open an tutu.
I am not going to do the benchmark as there are plenty videos which will have the benchmarks, but there is something I want to demonstrate here, which is the speed of the storage. As I told you, OnePlus 8 pro comes with UFS 3.0 storage, whereas OnePlus not comes with UFS 2.1 storage, and this should demonstrate how it matters. You can see a particular score here, which happened when I first ran the test. Let's do a quick test again and see where the difference in the read and write speeds come in. This speed will only matter when the application is downloaded and is installing or an application is loading up for the first time in the ram as well as you can see here, the OnePlus 8 pro with UFS 3.0 storage is quite faster, and it is understandable. So, but in day-to-day uses you do not have multiple occasions where you will see a difference.
Next, we move to the twitter application, let's see which boots up first. Here I feel the OnePlus 8 pro was a little faster. Next, we open the YouTube application here. Also, OnePlus pro 8 pro was a slightly faster, but not a huge difference. Next we go to Amazon, prime video and the ad in the prime video loads up a little earlier in the OnePlus 8 pro, but hardly any difference, I'm sure.
If you don't have the comparison, you won't notice the difference. Next, let's go to the Netflix application and OnePlus 8 pro loads. It is a bit faster. But let's look at the test sample see the maximum resolution. You cannot see here, and really my camera could not focus, but both of them run at 1080p OnePlus not does successfully output, 1080p footage on applications like Netflix and stroller.
Next, let's open Amazon, prime music. Here the OnePlus 8 pro was a little faster again by a second next YouTube music again, the OnePlus 8 pro was a second earlier Airtel extreme app and OnePlus 8 pro a little faster than the word. Next is one of my favorite games, monument valley, 2. You should really play this. The sound effects and the game concept is really amazing.
We can see that both are neck and neck and almost loading. At the same time, the OnePlus 8 pro has a slight lead. Let's see, the circle will expand, and we will get to see which one loads first and one plus eight pros was a few milliseconds earlier. Probably, but the gap is hardly noticeable, and I'm sure it won't be noticeable in day-to-day tasks. Let's go home next, we have a chrome application with a page open, it's the OnePlus dot inside, and you can see the OnePlus 8 pro was a little faster again next, the Amazon application here I feel the OnePlus word comes out first and loads.
It faster than the eight pro surprising next one of my favorite applications backdrops, and you can see here the ones it was slightly faster. Next we have the speed test application. We will open and see which one connects to the server first and here the eight pro connects to the servers. First now, let's run a quick speed test, and here is where we will notice a slight difference in the Wi-Fi speeds. You can see a slight difference in the Wi-Fi speeds, as OnePlus 8 pro comes with Wi-Fi six.
I do not have a Wi-Fi six routers, unfortunately, where the difference would be a little more evident, but it still shows that how Wi-Fi six helps in getting more bandwidth over the Wi-Fi and you, although the upload speeds, in my opinion, was a bit lower in the eight pro you can see. The one plus not gets a better upload speed, but the download speeds are significantly higher in the 8 pro thanks to Wi-Fi 6. Let's move on to the next app, which is the play, store, application and OnePlus 8 pro a hair faster than the word. Now the community app again, the OnePlus 8 pro is slightly faster than the OnePlus, not now that all the applications are done, let's check which all are in memory. Community app is in memory play store, application is in memory.
Both phones come with 12 GB of ram and should not have a problem. I will fast-forward this. Only the speed of the ram is a bit different rather than speed. It's more about power efficiency, where lpddr5 ram is a bit more power efficient and slightly faster than lpddr4x ram. That's all we can say about now and as you can see, that all the applications are in memory, and it had no problem but mind you.
I have both the phones in the 12 GB ram variant, so this might be helping the case hand to two. It shows this welcome screen. Every time you load the app, but if you can see here, we are welcome to the same page. It was left out at all right. So what do you think OnePlus not value for money? For the little of performance drop you get at the price, which is less than half of the OnePlus 8 pro.
I feel it's a great value, so the 765g is great in terms of processing. The only cons I see is probably the storage, but it will hardly matter to most people. They won't even notice the difference in performance between these two, and I completely agree oxygen. Os is brilliantly optimized, and that helps the case. The only difference, I would say is definitely in gaming, but I'm not the expert in that.
You should look out for other videos for that, because I know for a fact that in PUBG you don't have smooth and ultra settings on the OnePlus note yet, but according to the NS, video OnePlus did claim to say that they're working with Tencent and trying to optimize it and bring smoothness extreme settings on the OnePlus node as well. So that's pretty much been it. I hope this video kind of gives you an idea how hardware is becoming less and less relevant for a good experience, and software is what matters most. So that's been it again. Consider subscribing because I have a few more videos coming on the way between the word and probably put it in the test between these two, a camera comparison with the OnePlus 8 and a full review.
Whether this is a great deal for the puck or not. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in my next video.
