OnePlus Nord N100 and N10 5G - Best New Budget Phones?

So finally, OnePlus has released the word series phones in the United States at only 179 for the word in 100, and only 299 for the word and 10 5g. These are even cheaper than when OnePlus first came on the scene almost seven years ago. I'll leave links in the description below with current pricing and more information on each of these new devices by OnePlus. I don't know about you, but I'm glad to see OnePlus, making more budget friendly devices. In case you didn't know, I've had the OnePlus one OnePlus 3 OnePlus 7 pro, and now I just switched back from the Pixel 4a 5g to the OnePlus 8t. I think offering these cheaper devices is one of the best ways to compete against.

Other companies like Samsung and Motorola in the United States, they'll be able to get their devices in the hands of more people at a cheaper price point, and eventually they might upgrade to their more expensive devices later, either way. I'd love to see other people using OnePlus devices out in the wild, but hey. That might just be me now, even though these phones look almost identical, you're. Obviously, going to get slightly better specs on the n105g. I know what you're thinking, which one is the n105g.

They look pretty much the same. Well, it's the one with the glossy finish on the back. Weird thing is the n100. Has a nice matte finish similar to my OnePlus 7 pro? I think that actually looks better now. As far as performance goes on these devices, you're going to get the snapdragon 460 on the n100 and the snapdragon 690 on the n105g.

You also get 4 gigabytes of ram on the cheaper and 100 and then 6 gigabytes of ram on the n105g you're, also going to get 64 gigabytes of storage on the n100 versus 128 gigabytes with the word intent 5g and my testing, the performance on both devices are actually pretty good sure the geek bench test on the more expensive is quite a bit better, but I didn't notice much lag when it came to the cheaper in 100, using the snapdragon 460 and gaming on both phones were pretty smooth as well. I will admit, though, the n105g looks pretty amazing with the better resolution. It also has the 90 hertz plus a little more horsepower, but I still enjoyed playing games like PUBG mobile asphalt, 9 and Call of Duty mobile on both devices. Personally, I think the names of these are a little confusing. Both devices are really nice choices.

If you're looking for a budget device under hundred dollars or under two hundred dollars. That doesn't add a lot of bloatware like some other manufacturers out there screen size on these are about the same as well. You get a six 6.52-inch screen, although it is only 720p resolution on the n100 and when you step up to the n105g you're going to get 90 hertz, refresh rate and 1080p resolution, you do notice that things look a little more crisp on the antenna 5g, but I'm telling you if you show these two phones to most people, they're not going to see much of a difference. I even showed these two phones to my wife and asked her what she thought was the more expensive device, and she actually picked the n100 now she's not really into tech like I am, but that's why I like to ask her questions like this, because it gives me a little different perspective and personally, with the matte finish on the back of the n100. I do think that looks a little better than the glossy finish on the word intent 5g.

Now here's a quick size comparison next to the OnePlus 8t weird thing is both cheaper phones are a little taller. It used to be that the cheaper phones were always smaller, but the OnePlus 8t does look like it's just a hair wider. Now, when it comes to speakers you're going to get dual speakers on both, which is great, although the bottom firing speaker does sound a little louder than on the earpiece, I'm just glad they have dual speakers set up like this, because usually in budget devices, you're only going to get the speaker on the bottom to me, both phones sound pretty much the same and the nice thing is you get a headphone jack on both, but here's a quick, sound test from each phone. Just to give you an idea of what to expect. I don't think this is going to surprise anybody, but apple's AirPods max definitely feel the most premium because of the materials they're made with even the adjustment sliders feel next level compared to what Bose and Sony have to offer.

The rounded aluminum on the back of the ear cups sort of reminds me of the original iPhone design, but without the Apple logo and the ear cushions are much better than I thought they would be as well-being covered in a really nice mesh material. Pretty easy to see that apple has the most premium feeling headphones here, but they should be considering their about twice the price. Both phones also feature a pretty large battery with 5000 William hour on the n100 and then a slightly smaller 4300 William hour on the n105g, but with that one you're going to get the warp charge 30t, where you only get the 18 watt fast charging on the n100, which is respectable, but definitely no warp charging speed. I still have to do a little more testing on these two phones as far as battery life goes, but I'll definitely have to start comparing these two phones to other budget devices to see how they stack up. You're. Also, going to get slightly different cameras with these two phones. You get a triple camera setup on the n100, featuring a measly two megapixels and then a nicer quad camera setup on the antenna, 5g featuring a 64, megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle.

Then you also get a 2 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel monochrome lens, not, not bad, for what you're paying in my opinion, but you do get 4k resolution, video, recording on the word and 10 5g, and only 1080p on the n100. Here's a few samples of photos and video. Just to give you an idea of what to expect to me. It was pretty obvious which seemed to have the better cameras, but I'll, let you guys decide on which looks better do. Ah.

Yes, so hopefully this video gave you a little more info on the new word in 100 and word and 10 5g. Overall, I really like what OnePlus is doing with these two entry-level phones and I think the fact that both are available on carriers like T-Mobile, besides just being unlocked on the OnePlus website and on Amazon. It should really help them in gaining market share in the United States against the competition. So, if you've made it this far into the video, you may want to say thanks by subscribing and don't forget, to give a thumbs up. If this video was helpful, this is Brian from fish bee productions.

Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the next one, you.
