OnePlus Nord CE 5G detailed review. (Perfectly Normal!)

What's up guys star action here, the OnePlus note CE or the core edition. Well, this is it, and you're after using this phone. Well, it's a good one for the price, but it's surely not the best, because, with the note c, there are compromises which in the past was not common with OnePlus phones, but now OnePlus phones has been gradually changing into more generic phone type and hence the compromises are to an extent expected, but with the not CE well, the cost-cutting is a bit more when we compare it with the original node. But that said when we come by the Nazi with the present competition. Well, this phone has some strong points and that's the reason I said in the beginning that it's a good one for the price but, very importantly, not the best, and here the pricing is less than the original, not at the base variant. Pricing is 23, 000, Indian rupees, which will get you 6 GB ram and 120 GB storage, and this pricing it does go up to 20, 000, Indian rupees, and for that the ram is 12 GB and the storage is 256 GB.

But then the one that will be most preferred is the mid-variant which has 8gb ram and 120 GB storage. Now the variant that we tested is the top variant and with that the user experience, which is basically the performance and day-to-day task. Well, they all work really well, let it be scrolling through the home screen browsing through social media apps, sending a text making a call taking a photo or even playing games. Well, there isn't any noticeable lag and with games. There is not much of a frame drop issue too, and also the phone doesn't get very warm, even with 20 to 30 minutes of continuous gaming.

So basically the user experience is well covered in the note CE with the snapdragon 750 g processor, which is a mid-range processor. Well, this is all because OnePlus does optimize things in a neat manner and actually that's the best thing with the not CE, it's OnePlus oxygen OS. It was very similar to stock android, but now it has changed a bit into a mix of stock as well as Samsung's one UI format, but still this skin is a neat one, and I hope OnePlus doesn't change at least the software over the course of time, and your security updates are also fairly regular. So, in that regard too, the Nazi is doing well now, coming back to the user experience here, the ram used as lpddr4 ram and the storage is UFS 2.1, which are both good and with the variant I am using. There was no rhyme management issues if it's a heavy app, there will be reloading opening, but with normal stuff 8 to 10, apps dusty, open in memory now here aiding factor for this smooth usage is actually the display too.

This displays a 6.43-inch full HD panel and the best part of this display is that it's an AMOLED panel, and it has 90hz refresh rate and you, based on the display quality. There is nothing to complain with the unit I'm using. I didn't notice any green tint effect or any color reproduction issue and in fact the viewing angles was good, and also the max brightness level was adequate and yet the 90 hertz, refresh rate does make things faster, and this is a feature that OnePlus always poster with their marketing. But in 2021 well Redmi's note 10 pro series has a 120 hertz display, so the higher refresh rate panel hype is not a major thing anymore with the Nazi, and I think OnePlus also knows that and as they have shifted, the main hype factor to 5g and this marketing is noticeable even in the phone's official name, which is the OnePlus note CE 5g. Well, is this something that's of great importance? I'll say a big, no, especially with the not CE 5g is for sure the future, but it will take time for proper 5g availability, and even when that happens, the Nazis, Indian variant will only have a single band support.

Well, this is a major drawback because with just one band, it's better to forget about the Nazi's 5g part with the Indian variant, Henan, don't plan to buy this phone for the 5g thing, but instead your decision should solely be based on the good things that this phone offers now OnePlus could have technically offered more bands, because the Nazi that's selling in Europe actually has more 5g bands. So the 5g marketing is not a thing to consider and hence, let's move focus to one of the most important thing with smartphones, which is the camera. Well, with the not c on the back. There are three cameras in which two are useful ones, and in that the main sensor is a 64 megapixel, f, 1.79, aperture camera, and this one it doesn't have optical image stabilization. In fact, none of the cameras has optical image, stabilization and here.

The second camera is an 8 megapixel, ultra rectangle camera, which has 119 degree fields of view and its aperture is f 2.25 and the last camera is a 2 megapixel mono lens, which has an aperture of f 2.4. Earlier, the useful two cameras are actually doing a good job with photos for the price that Nazi is selling, and I did like the photos that these two cameras captured and in fact the main sensor actually does a neat job, even when the light is dull. Now, if it's a proper lip situation, the photos that the main camera captures are sharp and a bit saturated, and even the dynamic range is good and when we put these photos against any phone selling in this price range. Well, the Nazi does make it to the top three in the list and the ultra light. Shots are also neat looking, even though there is more saturation.

So when it comes to photos, I am happy with the outcome and in fact the same is with videos too. Video output in a proper condition is very usable. Max video resolution supported is 4k at 30 fps, and here I did record this video in 1080p at 60fps, and here the output is stable, with just electronic image stabilization and the colors. They look sharp and a bit contrast and here are a couple of issues that I wish to see fixed is with the exposure and also at times it does take a bit of time to switch focus. But overall, if it's a good lighting environment and the video is captured with not much movement, the outcome will be perfect.

So here the back camera of the Nazi is actually holding well against the competition and, interestingly, the front. Camera is also a solid one for the price. It's a 16, megapixel Sony, mix 471 sensors and its aperture is f 2.45, and here, if you're clicking selfies outdoors, the pictures look, sharp and focused, and also the colors are vibrant. And yet there wasn't much of skin tone changing issue. Even if you move indoors and the selfies does look decent.

The only issue while clicking selfies in artificial lighting is that they become a bit soft and about the front camera videos and the 1080p 60fps videos are pretty decent with not much stabilization issue and also the overall scene is sharp, and the face does stay in focus so overall about the camera system. In the not CE I can easily say it's a good one for a 25 000 Indian rupees phone, but here, if we go for the top variant well, then the pricing actually creeps into the pixel 483 and with the Pixel 4a, the Nazi surely does fall short, but with the rest, especially with the galaxy f62 and the Redmi Note 10 pro max and the note series camera system is staying strong now talking about strong, let's move on focus to the design and the build quality, and here this design is a familiar one. It's because the Nazis design is similar to the original node and this design is actually not a bad one. Any other color I have is the blue void one, and I like this texture on the back casing. Now, if you go for the silver ray or the charcoal ink well, they both look like they have shiny glossy finish, and they'll surely be fingerprint magnets, but this color and its matte texture does stay very clean, and it's a smooth.

Yet gripping finish. This is plastic, and here is the frame, that's the worst thing about this design. Well, it's not because the frame is plastic, but it's because it looks and feels cheap. Well, the back casing. It's done in a better manner, and also there wasn't built quality issues with this back panel and even though it's plastic, I do like it, but here this is a downgrade with the not CE, because the original knot actually had a glass back, and here that has changed and also OnePlus didn't use gorilla glass even in the front.

So that's all cost-cutting things any of these stuff, even though it's bad, they weren't that much annoying to me, but instead it's the omission of the epic one plus triple mode slider. That annoyed me the most come on OnePlus. That's your iconic feature and skipping. That surely makes the Nazi look like an Oppo phone. Now, after skipping the mute, slider OnePlus did bring back the headphone jack, which might be a useful one for some users, but then to use it.

You should either have a wired phone with you or you might need to get one because in box you don't get that. What do you get with? The phone is a flexible CPU case, a 30 watt warp charging brick and an USB 8, USB c cable, and yet this case it's a decent one. So if you're into cases you can use it. But to be frank, I didn't feel the need for a case, because the in-hand feel of the Nazi is good, because this phone, even though being a big one in terms of height well based on the width, the thickness and weight they're, all on the smaller range and the weight being 170 grams, is a big plus for longer period of usage and also by the way, all the buttons they have proper tactile feedback so with the design and build quality well other than the omission of the mute, slider and also this plastic frame. I do like it especially this matte finished vivid blue one, but that said, a thing I feel is very disappointing.

Is the speaker system well in 2021? If the phone's pricing is in the 25000 Indian rupees range? Well, then they must offer dual speakers, but here with the not CE, it's just a single firing bottom speaker and here, even though it's a loud one, the effect is not comparable with phones having dual speakers, but here OnePlus did use a good earpiece. So if you're into making a lot of calls, you'll like it and another, such thing that you will like here is the charging. The charger provided is a 30 watt, fast charger, and it can actually top up the 4500 image lithium polymer battery from zero to 100 in under an hour, and here this fully charged battery will last you for a day if your usage style is on the moderately heavy side. For me, the screen on time was in the fine day of our range, and that was with 90 volts refrigerate turned on, and the brightness level was always set in the 50 range. So it's a decent number, and here some final things is that the Bluetooth version is 5.1 and the Wi-Fi version is dual-band. Wi-Fi and the phone also has NFC and all the sensors then about the sims.

Well, the phone does offer a dual sim tray, which can take two NATO sims, but yet there is no form of storage expansion available and about the unlocking method. Well, it's fingerprint unlock, and it's an in-display fingerprint scanner and this one it actually works only at a decent speed. Now, usually one plus phones in display fingerprint scanners are much more fast, so that felt a bit odd, and also I wish the scanner was set a bit more high. Anyone more area one plus is now lacking is that not c doesn't have any form of IP rating, and it looks like one plus hasn't used any basic precautionary steps too. So I guess that's everything about the not CE, and yet this phone it actually doesn't have any major, strong points, and hence this time, OnePlus not c will just stay like an option among the crowded segment and in that crowd.

The major standout thing about this phone is surely the OnePlus software and the experience from it, and I feel that will be the main deciding factor for many, because it's like, if you want a stockist one UI format, smooth user experience, you will be leaning towards the not CE, or else you might look for some other options now with the not CE on top of the software experience. Well, the other good things are its display performance, camera and also battery, but these factors are actually now pretty much good with most phones in this segment and right now. Certain phones in this segment does have some unique stuff too. Like the Redmi Note, 10 pro series having a 120 watts display and if it's the galaxy a52, it offers water resistance and an optically stable camera. So it's like the competition that has some standout things, which is where the Nazi looks very neutral, but being neutral is not bad and on the other hand, it's perfectly fine and that's what this Nazi is.

That's all for this video guys hope you liked it. If so, please don't forget to hit the like button, and also, please do subscribe, because you won't miss our future contents, and it does help the channel a lot see you again in the next one till then bye.
