XIAOMI Redmi Note 10 Unboxing

Hello, I'm Matteo the chief mobile opinions here at tech travel geeks, and this is the tech travel geeks unboxing of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 a device I purchased just after launch on AliExpress and which I'm quite excited to get into. If you're, a regular, watcher or subscriber to the tech, travel geeks YouTube channel, I'm really excited about that magical, 100, 150 price range for smartphones. It really is an interesting space to be in right. Then the box arrived today from AliExpress and the side of the box has an interesting bit of writing here. It's Redmi Note 10 with easy access to the Google apps you use the most. Sadly, that's a dig at Huawei who said who don't have that anymore due to the current trade war between the U.

S. and china anyway, I'm using my Jerry rig everything knife to get through the plastic on the box. Let's pull up the box and see what's inside right, then. So a few specifications are called out on the Redmi Note 10 packaging here. So first things.

First, it's a 6.4 inch, AMOLED dot display, which is pretty unheard of at this price point a 6.43 inch AMOLED display. So that means that it's using the AMOLED technology which uses less power, gives you more brightness and better color saturation. It also supports 33 watt fast charging at five for the 5 000 William hour battery, and it's running the new Qualcomm snapdragon 678 chipsets. So this is a new chipset from Qualcomm which steps up the game in the six series. Processor category and there's also main 48 megapixel camera on the back paired with some other cameras.

We'll look at that in a moment, but first things. First, let's look at what else is in the box, so there's a tab here. Let's pull that up and see what comes out okay, so the initial tray has a tab that opens up here, and I have a sim ejector tool, some documentation that I have a user guide and the warranty card and what our friend Chris over at expert calls this. This is a condom case, a simple CPU case, transparent, nothing, fancy, but it does the job, and I'll be using that until my mocha dial arrives all the way from AliExpress inside the box. We also get the 33 watt fast charger.

Let me check that by taking the packaging off here. Interestingly, this is paper, that's around the charger, or it feels like it. There we go. So if we look at the charger in detail, this charges at five volts, three amps, so that's 15, watts nine volts at three amps, so that's 27, watts or 12 volts at 2.25, amps, that's 27 watts, and also at 11 volt 3 amps, which is 33 watts. So that's a very capable little power, brick here, and you can see it's Xiaomi's new orange power, brick which I'm assuming is paired with an orange USB, a two orange USB type-c.

So this is the same type of charger. We saw on the Poco m3 and the Xiaomi meet NT pro 5g late last year and then earlier this year, Lucas saw that in his unboxing and reviews of the Redmi Note 9t and the red Redmi Note 10 pro, but it's amazing to see that the lowest level of the notes tier the standard Redmi Note 10 has 33 watt charging. So not only does it have the AMOLED screen which we'll look at in a moment, but it has that that fast charging capability. So let's take the Xiaomi packaging off there we go, and I'll take the sticker off the back. So if we look at this, this is the Redmi Note 10, and this is the emerald green.

It's a sort of moon, finish green, it's nice and refractive, not much reflection going on there from my point of view, and if we look at the camera module, it says ultra premium. I guess they're not shouting out about the camera too much, because this is the lowest tier of the Redmi Note 10 series, and it's potentially got a few sticker cameras there rather than real ones. We'll have a look at that in detail overall feel is really, really good. It's got some heft to it, but it's relatively light for its size and that's because the back is made out of in this case plastic. So that's plastic or polycarbonate back that's a plastic side and the glass screen.

So that's fascinating thing, and it makes sense. This is a device around about 150 pounds in the UK, so it's definitely less than 200 us dollars. It depends on which version you get. But in this case this is the four gigabytes of ram 64, gigabytes storage, one, and it is also expandable with micros, but the overall feel and build quality is nice. It's slightly curved in at the sides at the back and let's just quickly turn on the screen.

There is a pre-applied screen protector here, and you can immediately see there's a very good contrast ratio, that's white on black there's, no gray coming through, because it's not a backlit screen. It's a proper AMOLED one and mini 12 has been optimized for AMOLED screens, as in it makes the most of dark themes and saving battery life. But that's it! It looks nice and clear and well-defined because that's 1080 in resolution by 2400 pixels. So this is a 20 to 9 aspect ratio screens so slightly longer, and it's a good pixel density. In this case it's 409 pixels per inch.

So I'm going to wrap up this. This quick unboxing video we've seen what's in the box you've seen the case that comes with the device and allows us to keep it safe until mocha dial arrives from AliExpress. But what I would say is keep an eye on the tech travel geeks YouTube channel. We will go through the full setup experience in a follow-up video after earphone Tuesday, so on Wednesday, we'll be releasing our full setup, video and be sure to be subscribed and to have that bell notification on to see me go through the setup and optimization of apps and services. The way I like it on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10.

If you have any questions, or you'd like to know more, feel free to leave us a comment in the section below, but for now thank you for watching and goodbye from me.
