OnePlus 9 Pro vs Galaxy S21 Ultra Speed Test!

So, what is up guys nick here, helping you to master your technology, OnePlus 9, pro 5g versus galaxy s, 21 ultra 5g, speed test, let's begin with a boot up test in three two one and see which one can get there first now these are two of the top ROG android phones in the industry right now in 2021. So if you want the best of the best, this is basically your two options right now, especially in the US. You can see right here that we do have the galaxy seeming to be ahead, but it might be the OnePlus we'll see what happens here on the boot up, and it's going to be wow. Okay. That was really close. Just I think it's the galaxy, but it was just about almost the same, and they were like going into their home screens about the same, but I'm going to give that one to the galaxy and the boot up by a little, okay guys.

So, let's test their biometric security, how fast they are, so we're going to talk about the fingerprint sensors first, and you'll, see OnePlus looks a little quicker with that animation. So you can see right there. Yeah, OnePlus is definitely faster on the fingerprint sensor, but it's also faster on the face unlock check this out. Yes, it's actually face unlocking your, just not seeing it watch you'll see. If I don't look at it, you see that little face guy a little icon right.

There watch this bang. Let's do it again bam did you. There was no chance for a bang right there now over here we could see the galaxy s21 ultra you'll see it definitely fly in you'll, see it slightly now. The s21 ultra is quick, but you cannot beat that one on the OnePlus 9 pro. That is just incredibly fast right their boom.

It doesn't even give you a chance to see, and you're in now that can make up for some very fast. You know entering into your phone throughout the day. Both of them are very quick in this respect, but I'm going to have to give it to the OnePlus on biometric speed, alright guys so welcome to the app test portion of this video. Everything is closed out for both phones, we're going to begin with Instagram. Both of these do have android 11 that looks like the OnePlus android 11 oxygen oses on the left.

That's OS 11. On the right one, UI 3.1 with android 11 as well, both 12 gigs of ram. Let's begin with twitter or let's go to twitter here, you'll see that might have been slightly to the OnePlus you'll see right there, pretty close we're going to Amazon. That looks like the galaxy eBay that looks like slightly to the galaxy YouTube. Let's go to the explore tab slightly to the galaxy trending slightly to the galaxy as well.

The animation a little faster there for the one plus you'll see pretty similar there we'll go into Groupon, and you'll, see that slightly to the galaxy right there we'll go to categorize things to do pretty equal there. Now, if we go into CPU z, you'll see that that goes slightly to the galaxy, we'll go into sonic and let's see which one can load this up. First here for sonic, the hedgehog and you'll see it looks like it might be in the lead there, just a little like by a hair on the galaxy, we'll go ahead and click this we'll hit touch to start, and we'll see how it does here. Let's hit start game and let's go into green hill zone here and see how fast it gets in this should be about the same I mean they do have the same GPU as well. So, let's go out of here and let's go into PUBG mobile, and you'll, see PUBG mobile in the lead there for the left on the OnePlus series.

So, let's see which one you get in first, sometimes they load up these things. So these little ads and stuff. You know these little things are going to put in the game, and you'll see right. There looks like the OnePlus was in the lead on this game to get to the match screen. We were in a match previously, so they just went straight into the match, but OnePlus did load that right into that match.

Let's go into temple, run, and you'll see temple run the same on both I'm not raiding. Right now, we'll hit play, and you'll see they do rip through these little easy games all day long. So no problems with those we're going to cross road. Another easy game for both of these to load up. This could load on pretty much any phone, but you'll see that looks like it was a little faster for the OnePlus.

Let's go into Lightroom, and you'll see Lightroom faster there on the left scrolling through. You could see pretty good on both of them galaxy having a little of a hard time, loading up stuff there, let's go into the geek bench, 5, and you'll, see geek bench 5, pretty close, we're going to 3dmark you'll, see that was to the galaxy, so they traded some applications. Some were faster in the galaxy. Some were faster than the OnePlus. It's pretty much equal performance overall.

If you want one plus oxygen OS get that phone. If you want one UI, 3 and Samsung get this phone, I mean they basically are going to give you very strong, 120 hertz 12 gigs of ram snapdragon 88 performance, very good on both alright. So, let's see if we get any reloads on either phone, 3d marks good to go geek bench good to go, Lightroom good to go. Cross road good to go on both temple run good to go on both as well PUBG mobile, a little of a delay on the tap there for Samsung, but both of them do load that up, let's go into sonic you'll see they both had that as well. We'll go into CPU, both of them good.

There Groupon, both of them good. There Starbucks good there again YouTube good there as well eBay, good there, Amazon good there on both twitter good. There Instagram missed that. One Instagram looks like we're getting some loading on Instagram, but it was where it was so, overall 12 gigs of ram on both phones, you're, not gonna, have any major reload issues on either of these all right. So let's go ahead and go to geek bench and see which one could actually finish the test.

First, three, two one. I will be back when they are done with their results guys. So the OnePlus is the winner. Not only did it beat it in the benchmark, but it has the higher scores in both the single and the multi-core 35 35 over there on the multi versus 3193 and 1127, so more than 1097. , so even out benches, the galaxy s21 ultra, let's go to 3dmark, and we're going to see which one gets the better wildlife result now, okay, guys.

So our final wildlife scores are in as well, and you'll see this one does get a 56 46 overall score versus the galaxy's 54 40. So let me see those results. One more time, 5440 and you'll see average frame rates a little lower on the galaxy as well. So this one definitely outscored the galaxy. They went down in the same battery percentage by one percent, but the OnePlus was able to average a higher 24 fps versus 19, whereas the galaxy maxed out at 42 1 fps over the OnePlus they're, pretty close in overall performance, but the OnePlus is slightly stronger there in those scores on those benchmarks, so that wraps it up here between the OnePlus 9, pro 5g and the galaxy s21 ultra.

I didn't test 5g because I'm not in a pocket of strong 5g, so the speeds would have looked embarrassing anyway, so we will go ahead and wrap it up here. I will say that the galaxy did have a little stronger signal strength on the road when I did test both of these out, but the OnePlus feels a little snappier in the oxygen OS 11 over the one UI. It just feels a little more slick and smooth, but overall you're not going to go wrong either way, both are very strong offerings. So let me know which one you would pick down below in the comments section of this video and I will be doing a camera comparison as well as a full comparison between these. If you guys want to see that, let me know down below thumbs up.

If you enjoyed the video nick here, helping you to master your technology, I will catch you all in the next episode be sure to be well and peace.
