OnePlus 8T Unboxing First Impressions By iGyaan

Hey guys, what's up, this is Bharat you're watching again today. Finally, we're checking out the OnePlus 8t. Now we don't know what's inside this box, as you can see, this is the media kit, it's more for reviewers like us. What you will get is the phone which you will see on the inside. We possibly have some cases uh, maybe some accessories in there. So I'm excited to check it out if you guys are excited to check it out as well.

Let's quickly get started okay guys, so the time has finally come, and we're going to be unboxing this and seeing what this massive media kit thing has inside. As you can see on the box itself before I go forward with this, it's just ultra stop said nothing ultra stops it nothing after stops, it nothing ultra stops it nothing. Ultra stop said nothing ultra stop, say nothing. Ultra, stop, say nothing. Media kit, one plus 80.

Okay. So what we need to do is sort of get this out slide it out, we're sliding it out, it's sliding out and that's the box, and we can get rid of that and this should open up there. We go look at that. That looks absolutely brilliant, so it says hello over here, I'm guessing this lifts and like that, it's already sort of leaking out. This is our reviewers guide.

That's nice! I'm going to put this to the side. Put this to the side as well. Actually, you know what let's open this up, so OnePlus always does a fancy job with these books. So you can see some of the features that they're going to be talking about more efficient, more 120, hertz, refresh rate fluid AMOLED, display, etc. , etc.

Hooray pretty nice, so I'll place that to the side. I can see some covers here so that one looks nice. It's got this sort of digital pattern on it that looks kind of cool. It's called the quantum bumper case. Furthermore, it's got also called the cyborg cyan color on it nice.

I can see this one looks like the OnePlus word sandstone thing, and it is so it's the sandstone bumper case again cyan, and this is where the phone is so here you can see it's the OnePlus 8t yeah. So that's the box of the OnePlus 8t the price, as always, xxx rupees uh, that's quite cool, replace that to the side, so the two cases are pretty standard. As far as OnePlus is concerned, uh they always send us some cases with their new phones. So I'm going to cut through those real, quick like and show you what they look like. So it's got this 3d effect where it's got a printed layer on the inside and a printed layer on the outside.

That gives us this nice 3d effect and if I go check out the other one, this one is pretty much like the OnePlus word case that we checked out. You can see the ribbed edges over here: uh volume, cutouts uh, the sort of profile switch cutout, and then you also have the camera cutouts and just by looking at the camera cutouts, you can see what the camera layout is going to be like. So those are quite nice, almost identical colors to cyan for both of them and let's take a look at the phone now here goes nothing that was uneventful okay, so let's quickly lift this up, slow and steady, so that pops up interesting thing to note is that they've also put an 80 on the inside of the cover. So when you're lifting the box, you can see that as well. So that's the phone, so it's much more compact than previous devices feels really compact and easy access.

You can see the camera layout, but I'm just placing it to the side for now in here is some documentation which includes some safety information. We've also got the invitational letter, and it says the highest SAR value, I'm not too sure if they should have said highest SAR value. What they're trying to say is that this is the highest SAR value produced by the device and India measurements are over. Here you can see 1.07 watts per kilogram invitation letter is usually of the one which also has the sim ejector tool, that's nice, and that's the one that has Pete's signature and just a letter which says the fact that you're reading this is you're. Looking at something different, that's more of the OnePlus 8t is more than a phone.

It's an invitation, an invitation to join the movement who want to ask if they can do better so usual stuff. There is a quick start guide. There's a red cable club card, which is their sort of warranty thing community and a bunch of one plus stickers.8080, never settle those are nice as well the transparent stickers. So where should we put it? Where should we put it? Where should we put it here on the age bottle? So something like that, because it's transparent, you can put it on a bottle or something that's nice, and then a case is included inside the box, which says never settle. I've never been a big fan of that.

I find it quite annoying that they do that. There's also an USB c to USB charge, cable, and they're, not getting rid of the charger quite yet guys, maybe on the OnePlus 9. Uh. This is uh. The USB type charger is the warp charge, 65, so impressive speeds.

As far as charging is concerned, with the warp charge, 65 included in the box and on the OnePlus 8t. Let's take a look at the device itself, so here is the OnePlus 8t and that's what it looks like. I said it feels really compact, and it feels like a really nice form factor and size. Let's quickly power it on, and we'll go through some features of the device. So now the design is completely flat on the OnePlus, 8t they've gone away and done away with any edges or curves on the phone.

It's now a flat square slab which, from a user point of view, is a better user experience for a touchscreen device, and you get that on the OnePlus 8t for the front. You get a 16, megapixel, camera now and uh. This has a Sony, mix 471 sensors and a pixel size of one micron. This also has an aperture of a 2.4 which is not the greatest for front facing cameras. In fact, the lower the aperture for front facing cameras, the better your selfies, are going to be in low light environments, so there is corning gorilla glass on at the front of the device and the display is a 6.55 inch. Fluid AMOLED display it's 120 hertz display, and it has a 2400 by 1080 pixel resolution, so a full HD plus a resolution, and you get 402 pixels per inch.

One of the coolest aspects of the screen is the 1100 nits of brightness, which means that whether you're using the screen indoors or outdoors you'll be able to view the display without any problems on the bottom of the device. You have the speaker, the charging port and the sim tray. The charging port now accepts up to 65 watt charging and how they've managed to do this is by splitting the batteries, and now they charge both the batteries simultaneously. You also get a total of 4 500 Williams of battery, which is larger than the previous gen device, but not as large as some other android devices in the market on the right of the device. You see the power button, as well as the profile notification switch on the top is a noise.

Cancelling microphone on the left are the volume buttons and, on the back, a completely new camera layout for the OnePlus series, and you do have a brand new monochrome sensor. But the primary camera is a Sony mix 586 with a 48 megapixel sensor and an f 1.7. There is also an ultra-wide camera, which is an mix 481 16 megapixel sensor with an aperture of f 2.2. There is a macro camera, which is a five megapixel camera and uh. The monochrome lens, which I spoke about, is two megapixels, so for basic monochrome.

Photography for usage on social media is what you can use it for, but anything more than that. If you want to take professional photographs with higher resolutions, you'll have to use the regular lens with a filter to access the monochrome sensor. You have to go through the filters on the OnePlus camera app. It is the rightmost filter to access the mono, which basically is the monochrome sensor. Now OnePlus hasn't done any upgrades to the processor, so you still get the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 a chipset with the x55 5g modem from Qualcomm as well.

You will also get arena 650 as the GPU for ram and storage. You get 8 gigabytes or 12 gigabyte options, along with 128 gigabytes of storage or 256 gigabytes of storage, as always on one plus devices. These storage capacities are not expandable. The rear camera shoots 4k video at 60 frames per second. If you want to shoot cine 4k.

That is an option now, if you want to use the super smooth motion option, or you will be pulled down to 1080p with 30 frames per second, the front-facing camera can only do 1080p. Even though 4k resolution capabilities are there, it has not been enabled by OnePlus. The phone also has regular features like face, unlock and other fingerprint sensor in display which work all fine and well. The new cases available are really nice. We checked out the sandstone variant, which has the nod colors and the not texture, but we also checked out this one.

Both these are really nice covers from the company, and they will be available at the time of sale off the device. What do you guys think of the OnePlus 8t? Do you think it's an upgrade enough uh? Usually you would have expected a chipset improvement, possibly the 865 plus, but they haven't chosen to go that route they've chosen to keep the same chipset in place and not a lot of changes with respect to the hardware, only some differences on the camera module.
