Hello friends welcome to technique. This is normal here and in this video we're going to do the charging test of the OnePlus 8t. So OnePlus 8t comes with a full 4500mah capacity battery, and we have the 65 watt charger. So this is the warp charger 65 watt charger, which is bundled with the box package, and this is the new charger you can see. The design also has changed the 65 watt charger, and we also get a type c to type c cable instead of the USB type a so here you can see that it is type c, so that's also quite different. So that's the charger.
So we are going to charge the OnePlus uh t with this charger. So you can see that now it's completely powered off, so there is no battery left. So it's a zero percentage battery right now, so you can see that it is not powering on, so we're going to charge this device from zero to 100 percentage and see how much time it takes for charging. So 65 watt charger should take uh like uh 35 to 40 minutes um and let's see how much time it takes. So, let's get started with the charging.
So now we have started the charging. Let's measure that uh battery at around 15 minutes of charging. So now we are into 10 minutes of charging. Let's see the temperature so 38 degrees, that's temperature, on this device, so 38 and on the back panel. Let's see if any major increase, so 39 uh here you can see back panel is 39 and now at 10 minutes of charging.
Let's see the battery so 45 percentage of the battery in around 11 minutes. So that's impressive performance, actually just 11 minutes, and you get 45 percentage battery and let's now see how much charge it has in around 20 minutes. So now you can see where 20 minutes of charging and 39 degrees- and you can see 60 percentage of the battery in around 20 minutes, so 39 degrees is the temperature. So now we are nearing 30 minutes. Let's see the temperature, so 38 degrees 38.4. So it's almost like 38 39 degrees throughout the test.
So no increase or decrease in terms of the heat, so that's the temperature. Now we are just at 30 minutes of charging except 30 minutes. Let's see the battery right now so 82 percentage in 30 minutes uh, that's quite good uh! You can see that uh 82 minutes uh, just 18 percentage, left to charge 30 minutes.82 percentage is what we got. So, let's now see how much time it takes for 100 percentage, so OnePlus claims that uh it takes 39 minutes for 0-100 percentage as per the lab testing under standard test condition. So right now we are at 39 minutes and let's see how much battery it has so 98 percentage, so not bad uh, two percentage remaining at around 39 minutes.
So, let's see how much time it takes uh for that two minutes, so uh almost close to what OnePlus claims uh again uh those are like standard test conditions. So again that will vary here. The voltage and current will have an impact. So here we got 98 percentage in just 39 minutes now. Next, let's see how much time again it takes for the rest of the two minutes.
Uh two percentage to charge, so now we can see that uh 41 minutes and 31 seconds. It went up to 100 percentage, which is pretty impressive, actually 4500, my capacity battery with 65 watt fast charging takes just 41 and half a minute. Now uh OnePlus claimed around 39 minutes. So just two minutes 30 seconds difference again, which is pretty good because we are not under the standard test conditions, and we got around 100 percentage in 41 minutes and 30 seconds. So that's the charging test.
So we what we could find out from the charging test is initially it was very fast in 10 minutes it reached almost 45 minutes for percentage. Then it slowed down a bit in between uh 20 minutes. It was around 60 percentage, and then it picked up pace after that. And finally, it took around 41 minutes and 31 seconds to charge from zero to 100 percentage using the 65 watt warp charging.
