Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Rear Camera Glass Replacement (Long Method)

G'day in today's video I'm replacing the glass on a s20 fan edition now we'll be doing the long way where I will be removing the back cover and then replacing the glass from there. Yes, there are shorter methods, but I find this the quickest or the safest way to preserve the cameras themselves under the glass. So I've had on my blue heat pad here for around about five minutes now I'll use some isopropyl alcohol, a thin metal, pry tool, and I'm going to work my way around the edges of this phone to release the factory adhesive slide it in. I do need to take some care on the edges and also only the buttons on this side that doesn't want to go in, and the back is made of plastic. So there is a bit of tolerance to how far I can twist. So now, I've left it on here for a little longer, I'm going to try to remove the glass with some tweezers, so I'll zoom, you guys in I'm, leaving the adhesive on here to make it tacky yours may or may not come with that.

There we go. This is leaving pretty well so going by how well this is stuck down. I probably could have done this without removing it off the phone, but I do like the added security if the little glass fragments drop in I'm not destroying the phone itself. I'll give you some scissors, though, now the fragments removed nothing in there so from here. It's a matter of aligning this the right way and also facing the right way, which makes it nice and easy being that this has got a marking over here.

So this should hopefully be a relatively straightforward insole. If I have it around the right way. Ah, one fatal floor. This is designed to stick onto here. First, I'm just going to make this a little trickier as you do want to avoid getting too many thumbprints on there.

Just like that, yeah I'll, just have a quick peek through there get a quick wipe with this yeah. This is why too hard yes, Mackenzie I'll, come and help you in a second. Am I always comfortable go near the end of the day, not quite there yet then from just want to put the back cover back on? Hopefully your gasket's intact, like mine, just a matter of mating up the phone, you can replace the gasket. If you do choose so I find the factory. Adhesive is normally still pretty good after taking it apart so from there, you should have hopefully been able to replace the camera lens in your s20 fan edition, says.
