ONEPLUS 8 Review! The device I would buy!

Hello guys here and welcome back to a new video, so I've been using the OnePlus 8 for last 15 days as my primary device in this video I'll talk about all the experiences that I had with this device. What's good, what's bad everything plus we'll also talk about whether you should go with OnePlus 7t or the OnePlus 8, considering the price difference is actually pretty big without further delay. Let's get started first, let's start with premium software experience that you get with any OnePlus device and OnePlus 8 is no exception to that. No bloatware, no ads in the UI very smooth, UI, optimized UI, basically, and software updates- will not be an issue considering OnePlus 5, which is almost a three-year-old device received android 10 update just few days back so overall software experience with OnePlus 8 is going to be fantastic, and it's not just about the software. Even the hardware is very powerful. The best hardware that you can get in the market right now is present over here when it comes to processing power, at least, and that's the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 processor, so overall day to day live usage had no issues whatsoever.

The performance is perfect, not just in day to life, but even in gaming and heavy gaming that I'm talking about like PUBG mobile Call of Duty. All these games will run very smoothly. I have already done a dedicated PUBG mobile gameplay review of OnePlus 8 uh I'll, give a link of that in the button over here when it comes to hardware, snapdragon 865 may be the best, but when it comes to the camera sensor um, I have little of extra thoughts to talk about. These are some of the pictures that I clicked with OnePlus 8 and in first impression I mean. Obviously there are no issues even in low light conditions.

The pictures turned out to be pretty good, not just that, but in few days OnePlus 8 will support Guam, which will make the camera experience even better. But as of shooting this video, I felt as if the dynamic range with the rear facing camera could have been little better and that's something which can be easily fixed with the software update, but no complaints as of now and when it comes to front-facing camera. The pictures turn out to be good, but skin tones were not that good uh. Somehow it felt little whitish once again. This is something which can be fixed with a software update.

If you are a regular normal person, then you will enjoy the camera, but if you're a camera freak on the camera is your top most priority, then you will end up editing your pictures just a little or clicking in raw mode to keep the dynamic range. At times when it comes to the video camera performance, 4k 60 fps is obviously possible. Slow motion videos can be shot with the camera. If I compare this video or camera performance with OnePlus 7t, I won't say that there is a huge difference between OnePlus 7t or OnePlus 8 uh for all those people who already have OnePlus 70, I mean the camera performance is basically similar, so I would say overall, it's 8 out of 10 camerae for me uh for someone like me who doesn't click a lot of pictures, the device got the job done. Of course there is no memory card slot on this device and there is no headphone jack as well.

You will have to buy the USB type-c to headphone jack adapter in order to use it with your favorite pair of earphones, 4 300 my battery. I was not expecting much, but surprisingly, with the snapdragon 865 processors, I was consistently able to get more than six hours of screening time. Sometimes I even got seven eight or nine hours of screen on time depending on the usage. If I play PUBG mobile game for let's say two to three hours, the screen on time was about six to seven hours. If I don't play PUBG mobile and just browse internet by using Wi-Fi, then seven to eight hours of screen on time is very easily possible.

Basically getting through one single day is not a task not just that, but the 30 watt, fast charger, which is included in the box, will charge the device to 90 percent in just one hour. So charging and battery life also gets a huge thumbs up from me on this device, but I feel like OnePlus 8 should be the last device with which OnePlus will use the 30 watt fast charging. They should move to 50, 55 or 65 watt charging, which other brands are already using. The device does not support wireless charging, and I'm not going to complain about that because, even though I have wireless chargers, I have wireless charging supported device. I never use it.

I feel as if it's too slow, I, like fast charging like 30 watt fast charging is my stuff, not wireless charging, but it doesn't support it. So you don't have to worry about that display on the OnePlus.8 had no issues, even though it does not support, always on display, even after having AMOLED display its 2020. I talked about premium software experience with the OnePlus devices and OnePlus 8, but it does not have one always on display. Even Motorola devices have Xiaomi devices also have always on display, like Redmi k20 pro, which cost you like, 25 000 rupees. I'm not sure why OnePlus has not already added always on display on this device.

Viewing angles are perfect. Color accuracy is very good. One thing which a lot of you will enjoy with this display is that the display is curved and every time you move something from the edge the text is curved, so it looks very fancy. I personally enjoyed it because the curve is not as huge as let's say how it was on old Samsung flagships or how it is on find x2 pro. The curve is very small, and I literally did not face any touch issues with the OnePlus 8 curved screens, so I'm going to give it a huge thumbs up from my side, always on display, I had Karo r ad crow, 2020, half of 2020 is done already face.

Unlock feature is always crazy fast on one plus devices, I disabled it on the OnePlus 8 because it was too fast like I look at it, and it gets unlocked immediately. I can't even look at the lock screen, so I just use the fingerprint sensor which works or which worked 100 of the times. I never faced any issues with this one as well. Device comes with stereo speaker setup, and it was very good at the price tag of 42 000 rupees. I don't think I'll complain about the speaker as such, even the earpiece became sufficiently loud call.

Quality on this device was very good: dual 4g dual VoLTE, dual VO Wi-Fi everything is supported, obviously flagship device, a snapdragon 865, so obviously it is supported. Now, let's talk about the most important part, should you go with OnePlus 8, or should you go with OnePlus 70, which will cost you just 35 000 rupees? It becomes interesting because at the price tag of 35 000 rupees, you get 8gb ram and 128gb internal storage variant of the OnePlus 7t. Whereas if you want to buy the same variant as 8gb and 128gb, then you will have to pay 45 000 rupees for the OnePlus 8, which is 10, 000, rupees extra and that's the variant. If I have, if you get the GB ram variant, then it will cost you 42 000 rupees uh, if you're planning to get the 8gb ram variant- and you are not concerned about just PUBG mobile gameplay, because I feel like from OnePlus 7t to OnePlus 8 when it comes to p1 like higher level custom rooms, you will notice the difference in gaming and that's the only department where the performance will differ other than that when it comes to build quality or the case with OnePlus 70. You will not get a case which says never settle in such huge letters.

If you are into that, and you will also not get the curved screen which is present on the OnePlus 8- is curved screen a huge thing uh in day-to-day life usage. You may not notice that, but you when you actually look at the curved screen. It definitely looks better in my opinion and if you are in the market, looking for 8gb ram phone, and you're looking for an OnePlus phone, only then OnePlus 70 makes a huge sense. Considering you save 10 000 rupees, which is a huge deal in my opinion, and you can literally buy a phone for your mom in that price. She'll be happy, and you won't really miss out on a lot of stuff, as I talked about, but if you are looking to buy the latest and greatest only then OnePlus 8 is a very good device, and it gets a huge recommendation from my side uh.

That's it for this video. If you still have any more doubt sessions or queries regarding the OnePlus 8.
