OnePlus 8 Pro Vs OnePlus 7t Pro! (Comparison) (Review)

All right, everyone welcome back to the channel we're going to be doing another phone comparison, this time around we're going to be talking about the 1 plus 70 Pro and comparing it to the 1 plus 8 Pro, which is the newest phone. If you can't tell these 70 pros on the right, one plus a pro on the left and I actually have the McLaren edition of this phone. So this is pretty much like a top-tier model, so it's going to be interesting to see which one is going to be the better when this is the base model of this phone, the pro so keep that in mind- and we will tell you even now the 1 plus 70 Pro- is still 2 cheaper, want to pick up I still believe. Obviously even the McLaren Edition I think the guy could be wrong about that. But I'll go and let you guys know now: he won't plus a pro cost me I think around 900 something dollars to pick up pretty much near $1000. The 70 Pro cost me about I think like 500, something is dollars in the use market.

So I don't know. If these things are still being sold brand new, but I will go ahead and leave both of these link down below from Amazon for the cheapest prices that I find, so you can go and get them from there and help support the channel. At the same time, now, looking on the front, I'll go and start off with a 70 pro. This phone has a 6.6, 7-inch, fluid AMOLED display, and it's a perfect display. At the end, the day, I think it looks really, really good.

It's 1440p, which is really, really cool, and what's really awesome about that, is that you know you have a very little bezel around the whole entire phone. On top of that, you have no hole punched display. You have that pop back camera, which is really cool, so pops out of the top I'm sure you guys already seen it well, is another really cool thing about. It is that it does have that in anywhere it's refresh rate, which is really, really cool when I'm sure a lot of people like it. Now these a pro actually has a 120 Hertz refresh rate, which is your know much better, I think but still I, think 90.

Here, it's just perfect enough for a ton of people and every time I messed with the 70 Pro, writing 90 or its refresh rate display I. Think it's really cool going from 60, Hertz n9t hurts I think is a bigger deal than going from.90 hurts to 120 Hertz, so I think the 70 Pro saw has a perfect display at the end of the day, versus something like the 8 Pro, which has a six point. Seven eight inch display and it's like a little different from the 70 pros, I think it's longer than the 72 Pro. So it kind of feels a little better in the hand. These 70 pros a little wider.

This one is a little narrower, so it's a little easier to grip in the hand, and this display I think is pretty much the exact same thing as a 70 Pro. But this one is probably better. You have very little bezel around the whole entire phone, and you don't have a pop-up this time. You have that whole box display in the left corner, which you know I'm sure it's more convenient to a lot of people and I actually prefer this design, and this design I think you guys already know it, but I think the way this phone feels and everything that 120 Hertz refresh rate is extremely cool, and the display looks really nice too, like there's really not too much to hate about this phone. There's a couple of things you can say like yeah, maybe the viewing angles aren't the best or whatever, but I think the screen is still perfect, and I think between both the 8 Pro probably has the better display, but the 70 pros is still right there behind it like this is still a perfect display.

So again you have that 120 Hertz refresh rate on the 8 Pro, which is really cool like I, said I, don't think one is a crazy better than the other one by hey like any long stretch. So, in terms of the front, the 8 Pro probably wants to put the 70 Pro is literally right behind it and when the bottom they have USB type-c ports on both, which is really cool and on the back triple camera setups on both, and you might look and think that both cameras are almost the same which they are, but I'll get into the camera structure in a second. But one thing: I kind of don't like about the 8 Pro is just that they can just oh that camera lens. So if you look at the 70 per--, you can see that the camera lens doesn't look too bad, like it's not protruding a lot for some reason. The 8 pro's camera lens is protruding.

So much, and it's really annoying I, don't know why that keeps happening. They should have probably fixed that a long time ago, but like any time, I rub my finger on this or something it just like crazy. How big that didn't think that camera lens is, so I, don't really know why they did it, but it is what it is now. The glass on the back is both different, and I was getting way too bright. I got trying to size, Soho the glass on the back is kind of different on both.

You have this like matte texture on this 8 pro, where you have like this class. Actually you'll have some 70 Pro, so a little of a difference right there and not like a world breaking thing, but something to consider at the end of the day, the way they fill in the hand they feel pretty different. You know the matte texture on these 70 on the matte texture on the 8. Pro definitely feels you know a little better, but that camera lens is one thing that keeps like messing with me, because the 70 post is much smaller and I. Really don't like that, how that sticks out, but everything else, they feel almost exactly the same in the hand.

So I would say you know for the most part they both kind of feel the same, but probably give the overall body the 8 pro the advantage. You know because it does have that better screen and the higher refresh rate and all that stuff, so the pro will probably end up winning they're now hitting on this software. This is where things are probably more or less the same. I mean they both are running oxygen, OS 10 on the latest version, which is really cool, so they had Android ten right now, they're, probably going to be getting Android 11 and all that stuff. Now, technically speaking, the eight series I mean we look at the 1 + 5 + 5 T.

Those phones are probably going to end up lasting the same exact time as we've seen before with other OnePlus phones, so the 1 + 5, +, 5 T, are still supported so, and then we had the 1 + 6 + 16, +, 7, +, 7 T. So this year we're getting the 1 + 8 + 80. So this one will probably end up lasting a year extra. Then? U 1, + 7, t + 7 pro series. So if you get the 1 +, 7 t pro your probably end up getting a year or less of support than the 8 or a pro, but still I'll tell you like it's still a long time from now.

Both phones are still getting supported, for you know at least like two more years, which is really cool, so you're getting my Android 10 you're, getting Android 11 and this one more probably I'm getting entry, 12 I think so. The 1 + 6 + 60, are going to end with Android 11, the 1 + 78, probably going to get end on any route 12. So we have Android 12 on here and in Android 13 on here. So there's hoping to be lasting for a long time. Auction wise is still perfect, so it was a software that pretty much covers it.

I'll go and hit on the speed and performance onto a little of a speed test between these two right. Now they won't post 70 has that Qualcomm snapdragon age, 55, + chipset in outscore, CPU and Arena 640 GPU in the base model, with eight gigs of ram and the top c remodeled with 12 gigs of ram. This one is the 12 gig of ram option when they won't post. A pro has up all comes tab, dragon 865, chipset and outscore CPU and Arena 650 GPU in the base model, with 8 gigs of ram and the top tier model with 12 gigs of ram. So let's go and see which one is the fast phone between both of these ok.

Now that we have all these apps clear down in the background, I'm going to clear this out as costar loading them off, and I have a bunch of these third-party apps that should have downloaded on this phone. I know why, and I guess they didn't even download, so I guess I have to go and back and redownload all them, so I but pause this video. Now, ok, what kind of back I guess! Let me go and clear all the asset background, and they're clear, so I was only able to download a couple of them, but I'll go and test other hats. ?. We can go blew up like the Play Store, for example, 3 2, 1 kind of close the pros on here at these 70 pros on the left, and honestly I couldn't really tell which one was like faster.

They were they're both pretty much the same phone calls 3 2 1 about the same messages, 3 2, 1, I. Think the pro is slightly faster just by a little and go these apps temper. One two three two one looks like the pros, actually noticeably faster than the 70 Pro, and this isn't even that big of a game. That's actually really, really surprising. As you can see, the pro is loaded.

The 70 pro you know was a little behind and that was actually really, really surprising. I was not expecting that you know going from like one generation to the other within, like a couple of months. I see a pretty big deal in my opinion, d'UN three to one both kind of goes up a little when I clicked on it, but it's totally okay and they both were almost the same when it came down to that one stack three to one and even to get into that little pop-up was faster on the e pro followed by the 70 Pro a little behind it. So doodle jump 3, 2 1, and they were both kind of instantaneous in a way. But we did have a little of a pop-up on this specific phone.

So I, don't know why that happened. Snapchat three-two-one, I think the pro is slightly faster, their Instagram, three-two-one, and again I think the pro was slightly faster. They both were pretty close. This one did not have that pop-up, but this one did so a little of a difference. They're really racing three two one and that one was kind of tough, and he promised a little ahead, as you guys can see like in terms of the video and everything I'm not really sure which one was faster than everything both were pretty close.

When I came down to it, you do like settings three-to-one how these apps are system app, so there's probably not gonna, be that big of a difference, but even from the quick little speed comparison that I test right. There I think that the 8 Pro is probably the more times faster one that not I feel like this. One was pretty fast when it came down to it. These MIT pro, though, is still extremely fast, too, and really between both I've been testing them thoroughly. I've done so many reviews about them, and definitely I do think.

At the end of the day, the 8 Pro is, you know, probably the fast one, with the 70 pros right behind it, but I will do a separate phone once we test at some point, hopefully sooner than later, but just like the speed test, I'll be doing a full camera test. ?, but I'll briefly get on them in this video as I say that before they both have triple camera setups on the back and the really weird thing, as I stated before they eat, post camera sticks out a lot which can be a little of an annoyance. It's not that big video, but it is something to consider now on the 1 + 8 Pro. You have your 48 megapixel wide-angle lens and 8 megapixel telephoto lens and then a 48 megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Only one Plus 70 Pro.

We have a 48 megapixel wedding, Colin's, 8, megapixel, telephoto lens and then a 16 megapixel ultra light sensor and between both I mean I. Think both of them are really great cameras. I couldn't really tell which one was better at the end today. Maybe the 8 Pro is probably better because it is the newer camera sensor and the ultra light sensor has more megapixels, which doesn't really mean too much at the end of the day. But maybe because the pro is you know, the newer camera I'll probably end up setting with that one over the 70 Pro, but they stopped me taking photos and everything.

I couldn't really see that big of a difference, but I will do a separate camera comparison at some point. If you guys want to see it so on the front, as you guys saw before we have that hole-punch display on the 8 Pro, but we do have that pop-up camera on the 70 Pro, so you might like it. You might not they're both 16 megapixels on both sensors, both can do 1080p at 30 frames that pretty much almost the exact same sensor at the end of the day. So in terms of the camera, I'd, probably Adam signing with the 8 Pro I'm going to get off with the battery life. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 4510 million buyer battery with u1 plus 70 Pro has a 4,000 85 million power battery and between both I'll probably be honest.

The pro has the better battery life for sure you have a bigger cell in it, which it just makes it better overall, in my opinion- and they both pretty much- have these same exact and turn out the same as I think Eternal, but they have you pretty much almost the same type of screens and everything. So in this case a bigger battery would definitely mean better battery life, and you're going to be getting better battery life. Only one plus a pro then on the OnePlus 70 Pro. Now to kind of sum up, the video and say answer the question, which one should you pick up? I'll, be honest: if you get a better deal on a one plus 70 Pro I'll, probably almost recommend picking up the 70 Pro, where the one plus a pro there's still a lot of advantages for picking up the 70 Pro, and it's not like you know, this phone is completely outdated. Now this phone still has a lot of cool features that a lot of the newer phones don't even have like that: 90 Hertz in the pop of camera and all that stuff.

Now the one plus a pro still has a lot of going for it to up between both the one plus a pro is the better phone. Overall, it's going to get you from point A to point B, much better. It's going to last longer, it's faster! It's better cameras, better, better life, all that stuff, so, like I, said, I'll go Henley both of these linked down below, so you guys can get them from there, but that's really pretty much it if you guys have any other questions or anything leave it down in the comment section as well hit the like button on me so much, but definitely at that subscribe button.
