ONEPLUS 7 PRO vs ONEPLUS 9 Speed test comparison! Snapdragon 855 vs 888! Oxygen OS 11

So, what's up guys welcome back to another video in this video, we'll be doing a speed test comparison between OnePlus 7 pro with that of OnePlus 9. ? So, as you all know, that OnePlus 7 series recently received android 11 updates and which is the stable, build, so we'll be doing a side by side, speed, test comparison, so without wasting any more time, let's get started. So, as you can see here towards the left-hand side here, we have our OnePlus 7 pro, which is running on the latest stable build of oxygen, OS 11. Towards the right hand, side. We have one plus nine, which is again running on the stable channel of oxygen OS level. Here are the software information and if you quickly talk about the device specification, OnePlus 7 series came with snapdragon 855 processors and this particular device on the table have 8gb of ram towards the right hand, side.

We have OnePlus 9, which comes with the latest snapdragon triple eight processors and that's also a 8gb variant. Both the devices are kept on flight mode and connected to the same Wi-Fi network, as you can see here, both are connected to the 5 gigahertz band and talking about the refresh rate of both the devices OnePlus 9 have 120 hertz of refresh rate and OnePlus 7 pro have 90 hertz of refresh rate on OnePlus 9. We don't get 90 hertz option, so we'll switch the device to 60 hertz and the same will be doing on OnePlus 7 pro, so gaming would have been turned off on both the devices. No reasons are running in the background on both the devices now. First we'll start with the boot test.

So let's reboot the device together, and we'll see which device boots up faster. So in three two and one so here, OnePlus 9 boots up faster than OnePlus 7 pro followed by OnePlus 7 pro first talking about unlocking speed of the device using fingerprint unlock and face unlock. So here towards the left-hand side you can see one plus seven pro and towards the right hand, side. We have one plus nine on both the devices I haven't rolled my fingerprint. Let's see which device unlocks faster, so let's start in three two and one, and I think both of the devices unlocked at the same time.

Let's give it another try in three two and one for me. I think both the devices unlocked at the same time, but still you guys. Let me know in the comment section below now talking about the face unlock, let's see which device unlocks faster using face unlock so in three two and one and here OnePlus 9 performs faster and that may be because of OnePlus 7 pro have this pop-up camera mechanism. Let's give another try in three two and one again, one plus nine is faster in unlocking the device using face unlock, but with fingerprint unlock you guys. Let me know in the comment section below which device unlocked faster.

So once again, let's check, if any reasons are available, we'll clear that and now here you can see we have few basic applications, including system. Then few social media applications followed by few heavy games. So here we'll open the application side by side, and we'll see which device opens up the applications faster and after that, we'll also check the ram management on both the devices so starting off with the first application, which is calculator in three two and one, and that was slightly faster on one plus nine. So we'll leave this application running in the background. Moving on to the next application, which is clock in three two and one, and that was again slightly faster on one plus nine, we'll leave that application running in the background now talking about the third application, which is camera here, we'll see which device opens up the camera application faster.

So let's open this application in three two and one, and that was again slightly faster on one plus nine and now moving on to the next application, which is chrome. So let's open up this application in three two and one, and that was again slightly faster on one plus nine. We load Wikipedia here and that was slightly faster on one plus seven pro. Next. Moving on to the file manager in three two and one that was again slightly faster on one plus nine, also guys here we have a file which is of approximate 3 GB, we'll try to unzip the file, and we'll see which device unzip the file faster tapping on the file and now, let's tap on unzip and select the same path, tapping on ok in three two and one and as you can see here, OnePlus 9 is lightning faster in unzipping the file which was of 3gb huge thanks to snapdragon triple eight.

Now we have few shopping apps. Let's open up this Amazon application first in three two and one, and that was again slightly faster on one plus nine, so guys here you will be the judges and you guys, let me know in the comment section below which device was performing faster, we'll leave this application also running. In the background. Now we have Flipkart that was again faster on one plus nine. Then we have Facebook in three two and one, and that was slightly a millisecond difference was noticed, which was faster on OnePlus 7 pro we'll leave.

This application also running in the background moving on to the next application, which is Instagram in three two and one, and that was slightly faster on one plus nine and by the way, guys, if you guys haven't followed me on Instagram, make sure to follow, because I'm more active on Instagram nowadays so now moving over to the next application, which is twitter in three two and one so here also OnePlus 9 takes the lead and loads up application faster again, we'll leave this application running. In the background, then we have YouTube: let's open up this application, and that was slightly faster again on one plus nine. We leave this application also running in the background, and now we have few more applications like flora and few heavy games in flora we have one 4k video, which was recorded at 60 fps, and we'll try to render that video we'll see which device renders that video faster. That video is of one minute with a resolution of 4k at 60 fps, so let's open up flora in three two and one, and that was lightning fast, on OnePlus 9 tapping on new project. Here we have that file, let's tap on import in three two and one and, as you can see here, OnePlus 9 takes the lead and imports the video faster than OnePlus 7, pro OnePlus 7 pro taking around seven to eight seconds extra to complete the process, and now here we'll apply same theme on both the videos and will export the videos then, and without premium subscription.

We can only export video in 720p. So, let's tap on export in three two and one and once again, OnePlus 9 takes delete exporting video faster than OnePlus 7 pro, with a slight difference of around four to five seconds. Let's leave this application running in the background now coming on to the gaming part. Here we have four games, one is free fire asphalt, 9 Call of Duty and PUBG and, let's see which device loads. All these games faster and I've also disabled the gaming mode on both the devices so starting off with free fire in three two and one, and that against loads of faster on one plus nine, followed by OnePlus 7 pro.

So we'll leave this game running in the background now moving on to the next game, which is asphalt 9 in three two and one, and here the game loaded up almost at the same time on both the devices. But you guys, let me know in the comment section below which device was faster in loading, the game moving on to the next game, which is Call of Duty in three two and one and that's again, faster on one plus nine, followed by OnePlus 7 pro, so not a huge difference. But yes, slight difference can be seen in loading the games and now last we have PUBG mobile, which is a global version. So let's launch this game in three two and one and loading of PUBG mobile is again faster on one plus nine, followed by OnePlus 7 pro so guys. This was the app opening speed.

Now, let's also take a look at the ram management on both the devices. So we'll start from the first application, which was calculator which is still running in the background, then we have clock wherein we have stopwatch running after that. We have camera that almost reloads on all the devices. So let's ignore it, then we have gallery application which again reloads on both the devices chrome still running. In the background of both the devices file manager, that's still available in the memory Amazon still running on both the devices Flipkart still running Facebook still available in the memory of both the devices Instagram and that's also still running in the background of both the devices moving on to the next application, twitter, that's available in the background YouTube and that reloads on both the devices.

After that we have flora, that's still running in the background. Moving on to the games, which is free fire, that's still running on one plus, seven pro and reloads on one plus nine. After that, we have asphalt 9 that reloads on both the devices Call of Duty still running in the background of OnePlus 7 pro but reloads on OnePlus, nine and the last game. We have PUBG that's still running in the background of one plus, seven pro but reloads on one plus nine. Now let me show you the benchmark results of both the devices, and we have performed multiple benchmark tests, as you can see here.

If you take a look at one plus, seven pro benchmark results with the first test single course: code, 695 and multicore score 2327 and the last test in that single core had scored 686 and multicore had scored 2256. , so slightly lower benchmark results to be seen after doing few multiple tests, but on OnePlus 9. First test scored 592 in single core with multi-core device code 1645. But if you take a look at the last benchmark test which was done in this single core head score, 592 and multi-core has scored 1705. , so with continuous of heavy tasking on device.

Benchmarks did not go down, but slightly lower benchmarks were seen on OnePlus 7 pro after doing a bit of heavy tasking so guys. This was the speed test between OnePlus 7 pro and OnePlus 9. The OnePlus 7 pro, I feel, was little better in ram management, because almost all the applications were running in the background of that device. But that was not the case on OnePlus 9. Most of the games were relaunching on OnePlus 9.

, so I think in terms of memory management OnePlus needs to optimize a lot, but you guys, let me know your thoughts in the comment section below which device performed faster and if you are an OnePlus 7 series users do you need to upgrade to OnePlus 9 after checking out this speed test comparison, as of not only this much in this video guys hope you, like the video, if you like the video, then do give me a thumbs up, and if you are new to our channel, then do not forget to subscribe. The channel thanks for watching have a great day. You.
