OnePlus 7 Pro versus Red Magic 3 speedtest By Phandroid

Hey, what's going on guys, I'm nick griffin, Android, and today we are doing a speed test with the Nubia red magic 3 and the 1 plus 7 pro two of the most powerful Android devices that you can currently buy now as far as their specs go. They do have some similarities, they're both running on a snapdragon 855 processors, but the OnePlus 7 pro has 12 gigabytes of RAM, while the Nubia red magic 3 only has 8 and the OnePlus 7 Pro does have another advantage as well. It's running UFS 3.0 storage, while the other one is running UFS 2.0, which means the 7 pro should be able to load up applications faster than the other device. Now those are the main specs that we need to be worried about for this speed test. So let's get things started as we do on all the speed tests. We're going to start things off with a fresh boot.

This ensures that everything has been cleared out of memory, but it's also fun to see which device actually boots up quicker. As you can see, the Nubia red magic 3 did start up quite a bit faster than the 1 plus 7 pro, but we'd like to remind you that boot uptimes are never indicative of what the final results of the speed test are going to be for the speed test itself. We're going to be opening up applications simultaneously on both devices to see which device opens the apps quicker, and then we'll come back for a second round to open up the applications, a second time to see which device holds more applications in storage. So with that, let's get started after round 1. The 1 plus 7 pro does have a commanding lead over the Nubia red magic 3, with a score of 9 to 3, let's jump into round 2 to see if it can actually catch up a little when it comes to RAM management in round two.

The red magic three did fare a lot better, but it still came up short with a final score of 18 to 11 in the favor of the 1 + 7 bros. If you're trying to decide between the red, magic 3 and the 1 + 7, throw the latter of the two actually is the better option when it comes to better performance. That means said, though, there is a big difference in prices between these two phones with the red magic 3 coming in at about a hundred and fifty dollars less than the 1 + 7 Pro. So it ultimately comes down to how much you want to spend. Thank you guys so much for watching.
