Official Apple iPhone XS Max Leather Folio - Black Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

Sup guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech, and today I am back with another big on boxing for you for the iPhone 10s Max, and today we're back with the official folio leather style case to unbox. Do a quick review as always we'll throw up the link in the video description. Now, let's get this out of the way. First, the pricing is just crazy on this one 129 you're killing me Apple, I'm, not gonna, lie about this. I probably want to get this case if it wasn't for my channel, but I did want to get this case to you guys to see if it's worth that price point, because I think I passed on it last year with the ten just because of the price, but I wanted to get this to you guys, because there's an official product and I try to get to the reviews of all the official products as much as I can, so I thought. The link in the video description comes in quite a few different color options.

You got this pink color blue, a green, the black and that's what I want redder than the product red, which actually looks a little darker. Then a natural red I want almost looks a little more maroons from the picture. At least. Obviously you guys can check those out in the Apple Store to maybe help you out with your decision, but 129 is crazy, so we'll check it out. It's going to be really win me over for that price point, because I'm really enough I'm, definitely I'm not feeling that price.

Well, that's a crazy price point I'm currently rocking the official leather case- and this is probably one of my favorite cases, and it's 50 bucks, which is crazy in itself. So this one's going to add an at least. What is it 50? Let me do this. Let me do some master. Fifty we're gonna.

Do thatbe about 80 bucks more for this thing that is, that is nuts, but anyways they got your Apple. Do they get you like they always do so? It's presentation, preemie enough. You got the actual picture of the folio style case right there, iPhone 10s, max Leather Folio actually feels very premium on the back skinny little picture of what you're going to get that little case, and then it shows you. It says natural leather, at least you're, getting natural leather for that price point. Let's hope hopefully, is natural leather, but I, really I'm a big fan of their official leather product cases and even the silicone one's up pretty nicely blogged on.

So let's go and check this out guys and see if it's a hit or miss presentation definitely is very nice. Here's the actual case itself give you guys a look at this thing, so you can see it is going to have some thickness to an already thick. You know pretty beefy phone see, but you can see how much protection you're going to get as well. It is, it looks like it's edge to edge protection now the bottom is exposed right there. So I'd like to see in a little more.

Why not clean it up and cover up the bottom. I know most of the applications. Don't that's more than my gripes. All of them, why not clean that up and put a know a bumper all the way around, but you are getting these reinforced edges right there. So what you're, hoping if it does drop it's going to hit this impact? First, so that's that's good, and then it's got this.

Actually, the plastic part in the middle is actually going to be a know. The actual bumpers part is more plastic II, which I thought it'd be leather. You, let me see maybe I'm wrong, yeah I guess it is leather. So this is leather all the way around. It's almost very identical to the official leather one where it's got the leather all the surrounding way thought that was actually a plastic, but it's leather, so it transitions almost it's a lighter leather.

This is more of like a gray, a true gray color, where this is black, you can see it even the interior. This is more of a true gray on the inside, where it transitions from that gray. Part right there to the black on that all the way on the outside. So that's a little different from the official one I. Actually like that, a lot you can see the Apple logo right there.

Looking very clean. You got your cutout right there for the camera inside, got your Apple logo or iPhone logo right there, and this is a very premium material which I do appreciate you or feel like you're going to get some nice clean, effective, draw protection, and then you just feel how soft that is. So it should give you some nice protection for that beautiful glass back. Let's take this out right here, so here's your actual folio, like wallet style I like that a lot they give you a couple different slots, and they're huge too. So that's nice.

A lot of case reviews that I've done that I've been folio style cases are not this big. So this one's going to give you a quite a bit of room to stick some money, some cash and cards and I really appreciate that, because it's one of those things that why make a case, if you can only put one card in it, so they did a nice job. At least you in a beefy case, but you're going to be able to put a couple cards in there and go out on the town or maybe take this to work with you without actually having to use your actual wallet as well, because I find those other ones that only give you one card I mean it's tough I probably need at least three or four cards with my license to go out so ones really not gonna. Do it? Let's go and check this out pop the case in there you go so far you. This is definitely looking really nice, I, still I'm going to have a tough time recommending this.

Unless you guys got some extra money to spend, but I do have to say it does have a very premium feel to it all. The way around give you guys a look at this without me touching it. So you can definitely see it's gonna. Add some thickness. You got that premium.

Leather feel on the outside, and soft to the touch should hold up really well. You got no type of logo on the Front's, which is very clean. You can see the stitching pattern, although around the edges that looks very premium on the outside very clean as well, nothing to it on the back again, you just got that Apple logo right there, camera cutout you're, getting some nice camera cutout coverage. Look at that, so camera completely gone. You turn it at an angle, so you're not going to have any issues with just putting the phone face down with the camera, so no issues at all there, and you can see the bumper all the way around clean, precise, it's open at the bottom, which I do have an issue with I.

Don't know why they want to just cover that up. That's just my gripe, but you can see how it does give you a little extra protection right. There. Speakers all open, see, volume up and down. That's pretty easy.

They actually have a nice, pretty nice premium, flip back, so it's going to flip back really easy and the buttons are actually easy to get to as well they're a little less click, so they're not really made at this type of clicking it. These buttons right here, like on the official one, where the official ones kind of got these little nice little buttons that are very soft to the touch. These require a little more push down. Not that bad, though this is a little tough to get to I'm, not a big fan of that, because it's tough anyway, but then you wouldn't fold this back. It's pretty tough to get your finger in there, so anybody would thick fingers the sausage finger is probably pretty tough to get into, but you know we don't use that all the time.

This is probably not that big a deal again bottoms completely exposed power button is quickie and responsive, and then you got the main feature for this. One I like that big open slot right there, that's really nice. Let's check this out. I got three cards, wasn't really expecting to be that many cards we'll just throw these junk cards in their see got one right here. So that's like your credit card holder right there, so you can put like maybe one see ?, it's a nice slot for the credit cards so ? at least right there.

Maybe three is tight, but you get at least three right there. So that's pretty nice, so you got three cards. Then you got enough space to put some cash in there. What do you want to do so? You got room for an extra pocket right there to put some cash in now. Let's fold it up, this is with three cards, and it doesn't look bad.

It doesn't add that much thickness to it either you can see it does add a little thickness around the size, but it definitely doesn't look as thick as it could be and some of them you can see the extra padding right there anyways it kind of hides the thickness of the actual cardholders, so very nicely done, which I'm impressed by that. So it does fold. It does have that open, that's nice, so it's got that open close that boom, so it turns on when you open it up, which is very nice. Give you guys a different angle of this, not that it's its really going to be tough. For me to say this is a hit.

Let me put it this way guys. It's a beautiful case, it's probably one of the nicer full of cases I've ever seen or felt, and it's got enough room for pretty much all the goodies. So if you're intending on using a case- and you want to use it for your wallet as well- and this is gonna- have plenty of room for three cards and then some cash, so I think this would be a hit for you. If this is what you're gonna you know use instead of a wallet now, if this is one of those things that if you already have a wallet, I really don't see the need to have the folio style. I would go with this.

The regular leather, that's just my personal opinion, but it does look professional. It looks clean, I, think, I'm, going to say it's a mini hit. It could have been a big hit at that price point was even 80. Bucks I would have said this is a big hit. But for that price point that's really steep to say this is a hit.
