New Apple Watch Series 6 By Jo-Jo Lux

Hi everybody welcome to my channel a quick one here, hopefully before the battery runs out so um, something slightly different for my channel today, um my inner geek is shining through, so the other Tuesday I may have watched, live the Apple event I set it up. It was at 6 pm, set it up with my MacBook on the dining room table as we ate dinner, we watched the entire event because I really, really wanted to replace my Apple Watch 3 with the new one. Now I nearly bought an apple five um, and I didn't because by the time I'd sort of gotten around to it. I was then like what I made I'll just wait a few more months. I think, like nine um and get the latest one, I'm really glad I did so, I'm a bit nervous about the strap size, and I thought I would unbox it with you. So this is how it came in this box was due to arrive on the first of October, and today it is Friday, the 25th of September, so it came early.

Yes, today is Friday. She agrees so open the box and there we have the packaging there. I'm just sat on the vlogs. This is easier, so, let's put that over there. Also, I'm trading in my um Apple Watch three and getting 105 pounds for that.

I've got the cellular version um, which I haven't gone for again, because, quite frankly I just don't use it. I always have my phone with me, so I decided not to go for that. So love the apple packaging, just these lovely bits. So let's peel that off right. So I'm just trying to work out.

Oh, yeah undo those bits good thing as well. When I do send my watch back, I haven't got to um include a band or anything. So I can keep this, so I'll then insert some pictures up of some of the ones I was looking at. I was ages trying to decide. So if I'm watching the event on the Tuesday, I then place my order.

I believe on the Wednesday morning, having agonized for several hours the night before that's nice, on what casing I wanted on what strap I wanted and for me, I'm one of these people normally give me a magazine page of anything, and I would go for the most expensive one without meaning to this is the first time in my life. I think I've ever gone for the cheapest version of something, but I'm happy with that. So originally I thought I wanted the gold stainless steel version with the materials straps. It was all gold and shiny. I think, with lock down my I'm doing a lot more ROG walking than I used to my life is quite different to what it used to be.

I thought, actually, you know what let's go something more subtle. Furthermore, I have gone with the 40 millimeter size. Obviously I would never go for the big one, because my husband's got the larger one. He's got the watch, the four Apple Watch four and when I put it on my wrist literally, where you've got this bone of the wrist, the watch is like wider than my actual wrist it. Just it's a definite note, so I need the smaller size um.

So this is the 38 we'll see what the 40 looks like on. So let's just I went for the straightforward aluminum. Oh, I do love. I do. Love apple packaging that just peels off lovely all right for the straightforward, aluminum um.

I haven't gone for the cellular version because, quite frankly, at the moment, I'm not in a position where I want to be paying an extra like five pounds or seven pounds a month for the carrier to have the service, and I always tend to have my phone with me anyway. Oh, so here's the watch and that little ooh was over packaging. It comes in this like little sleeve. I also for my aesthetic purposes. I prefer the watch without the red.

So what on the cellular version you can see there, I've got that solid red dot on the newer ones. It's the circular ring, as most of you may know, and I didn't really want that oops, I quite like it. It looks really nice if you put a red, strap with it, gosh sorry trying to push this out and the battery's going to go right so there it is in all its glory, just the plain, aluminum and then also in the box. We have a little instruction manual there saying designed by apple in California, and then here we have the charging cable there's a magnetic bit. It goes on.

You no longer get the plug. It's fine. We've got countless plugs in the house, um from other apple products. So it's not a problem for me, but warning for those of you that don't you would have to buy that separately or just a compatible one. Now the strap.

I went for the silicon, solo, loop and yeah silicon, so silicon fitted band- and I went for this in it just as green, so I'm hoping I like the color I'm into green at the moment- um oh little arrow there and this I'm a bit nervous about. I didn't do their measurer. Furthermore, I did the just measuring my wrist, the tape measure. Furthermore, I didn't actually do anything. Furthermore, I slid that down it didn't actually open um come on.

Oh, there we go, it did do something, it's just me being an idiot and I went for a size three. I was between a three and a four, and I went for three because I want to be a decent fit to take advantage of all the features that the watch is capable of in terms of you know, measuring your blood oxygen levels, etcetera, and it has to be tight to do that accurately. So, actually lift that, and it comes out so there it is its a really nice green color reminds me of um. The Strasbourg purse cut green color, actually bottle-green color. That's actually really nice, and I think that's going to go well with a number of things.

It's super stretchy. I went for this one. I love the braided, but I went for this one because I am I didn't want it. Furthermore, I didn't want to worry about it getting dirty, particularly with ROG walking. Furthermore, I didn't want to have to worry about anything getting dirty.

So, let's just am I doing this wrong. Probably let's just slide this on there's one in there's the other side in, hopefully, I've not made a mistake. Take this one off, and you can see there the difference in size screen's much bigger. It's also somewhat flatter. So I put this on.

It's really quite stretchy, oh god, if anything that's loose. Well, thank god! I didn't go for four. Maybe should have gone for a two anyway, we'll see how it goes. Um, if that is too loose, and I'll have to buy a different one and change it, but it's super comfy. The original silicon straps are one that you sort of push in the hole and then push in I do not get on with at all.

I've tried them on and I basically I can't get it in and if it's a no-no for me now. I know. There's god knows how many people thousands millions of people that do not have to travel and manage just fine but um. I really struggle. This is super comfy.

I don't know if it's going to be tight enough to take accurate measurements, but it is super coming it's not going to fall off or anything like that, but it's super, super comfy. Thank god. I didn't go for four. I think a four definitely would have been too big. So when I measured my risk of the tape measure, if I had to take measure quite tight, it was just about 14.

If I had a little looser, it was on the 15 side um and when I put those measurements in 14 gave a size. Three 15 gave a size, four um, and it even said like for a tighter fit to go for a three for Lucifer go for four, so I ignored the Lucifer and was just going for the tighter fit. So if anyone is watching that's interested in getting this definitely don't go. Large is my advice. So yeah, that's what it looks like.

I didn't even keep the watching the strap in properly there you go, so you can see what it looks like on really happy. I am going to get some. Furthermore, I do want to experiment and have some more straps um, because I just I'd like to accessorize, I like to change- and you know I quite like sometimes to have a smarter strap if I'm going to work, there's no effort just to ping it out and change it. So I do that I'll probably keep this on. Most of the time, like I say, particularly unfortunate, covered levels rising as well.

I think I'm going to be going anywhere um anyway. I thought I would share that with you. Furthermore, I thought it would be quicker than this already. Furthermore, I always say that I thought I'd share that with you any questions at all.
