*NEW* Apple iPad Pro 11" UNBOXING!!

Welcome to Mr. Rogers neighborhood I'm Mr. Rogers and today I'm excited to share with you my unboxing of the all-new Apple 11-inch iPad Pro okay, before I jump into that I'm just going to go over a little about which model. This is why I chose it and how it stacks up against. Some other models can help us now ever-growing lineup of iPads. So for those of you who don't know, Apple announced new iPad pros, as you can see from the box gone, are the bezels for the most part and gone.

Is the home button? Apples are favored expanding into mimicking its iPad line to its iPhone 10 line, which is to say more screen faced I'd, be instead of touch Ivy enhanced displays and some other changes we'll get into as we're unboxing this model is the 11-inch Wi-Fi version with 64 gigabytes of storage. Now Apple also has a 12 point.9 inch apple also has cellular antenna options. You can add on and storage can go all the way up to 1 terabyte for my needs and uses I preferred the smaller size and I don't need the cellular antenna and I don't need more storage than 64 gigabytes. Personally, what I have preferred if the base storage option on a pro device like this was 128 gigabytes? Yes, I just am not thrilled about the prices. Apple charges to upgrade your storage, so they do come in 64, 256, 512 and one terabyte now, as we unbox this I'm interested to see how it feels in the hand now that the bezels are narrower one of the ways they used to hold your iPad was sort of by the bezels.

If you were in landscape mode. So let's see how that looks. Let's see how it feels in our hand, now that it is a flatter slab, as opposed to the old Apple curved design with the unibody okay. So here we go in typical Apple fashion. There's always a tab with an arrow and all it does is really strip the plastic.

So, okay, so there it is covered in plastic, except for the camera, which there is now a camera bump which is kind of annoying, because when you set it down on a table, if you don't have a case on it, the camera is going to be in contact with the table at all times. Apple doesn't yet have the smart covers available for these new iPads. They do have a folio option and, of course, the new keyboard cover, but those options get quite pricey as well, and if you just want to cover the screen and to prop it up, they don't yet have an option for that. So hopefully that comes out soon. It was always the most affordable way to protect your iPad, but I might go ahead and jump on the keyboard cover as well.

We'll see if I do all that. You know what I think about that after we get through the unboxing in the future. I am gonna. Do a review video of this iPad Pro. So please in the comments.

Let me know what you would like to see. You know: I'm going to run some. Some games because this is being touted as a portable gaming device. A little apple says it has the power of the Xbox One S graphically, and my cap is fun with the plastic. So what do we have in the box? Well, a little nub where the camera on when your typical Apple stickers package and welcome guide at least I, think they're stickers, there's usually stickers there.

There I, don't know the last time. I actually used one of these stickers, but they do come with it every time, every Apple device. What do we have here? The larger power wall outlet? This Apple has increased the wattage and, as we'll get to when we look at the iPad itself, an apple has switched from lightning, which we've been used to for six years now over to USB, see I think this is a welcome change. It's a more verse all port and provide more power supply and means that this is going to have a lot more connectivity with computers and other peripherals than we saw in the past. I'm know for Apple to move to a universal standard as opposed to a proprietary.

One I think it's a welcome change, so you do get what looks like? Probably your typical three-foot, cable yeah. That's about three feet. The nice thing about us VC just like lightning is it's fully reversible, so it doesn't matter what way you wait you plug it in and that's pretty much it in the box. So you get the iPad you get their typical welcome to Apple and some instructions about gestures. You get your stickers, and you get your power kick.

You can some exciting things that you can do with this, though you can now charge out from the iPad. So if you have an iPhone like I do, and you have a USB-C to lightning cable which I do have some. You can charge your iPhone off of your iPad. So that's nice! If you use it, if you think about the fact that it's sort of a portable battery as well now to the good thing, the iPad itself, another pull-tab I got Space Gray, that's always my favorite color I know I'm boring, but I. Just can't resist and there it is so what do we have? We have enhanced speakers, which are one of the things I'm going to be testing.

We have volume up and down as typical of an Apple device and the power button on top, and you have your face. I'd true tone, camera right up here and that's pretty much. It put your smart connectors down here. You've got your USB see and if we turn it on, if we turn it on there, we go so while this is booting up, I'll talk a little just about. What's inside this thing, so apples powered this with the new, a 12 X Bionic processor, made by Apple, supposedly it's as powerful as 92, more and more powerful than 92% of laptops that are out there in the market.

It supposedly competes with and beats core i7 processors, just as recently from the generation of Intel chips. So this is supposedly a very powerful device. We don't know yet until folks grade in ripped these things apart. How much RAM is in there, but it looks like C they're going to be four six gigabytes of RAM and that may depend on storage as well. I've heard some rumors that be larger storage, iPads, for instance, one terabyte have six gigs of RAM, whereas the smaller storage ones have four.

That would be interesting, and I think that that might impact some people's decision to, for instance, buy one tear up just to get more RAM on top of the higher storage. So if you've ever used an iPhone, 10 Series, you know how this works. You have your gestures at the bottom. You swipe up and you get into that. I'm not gonna, go through set up right now and bore you with that, we'll get into some more of that when I do a full review.

So this was the unboxing of the new 11-inch Apple iPad Pro as I mentioned, I'm going to be doing some tests so that I'm going to review it. I'm going to take a look at the graphics performance with games like Civilization six and some of the ones that Apple showed off in their presentation, I'd like to see NBA 2k running on it. These iPad pros, like the previous generation, do have 120 Hertz variable, refresh displays, which is great for text scrolling web reading gaming it'll be interesting to see how gaming takes advantage of that for comparison. I do have the current gen regular iPad, okay, so this is not a. It is a nine point.

Seven inch display- and if you put these up next to each other, you'll see that there is really very little footprint exchange between these two devices. So obviously people are going to be comparing these Pro more to an iPad Pro I. Don't have a board iPad Pro on hand. I never had one, but you can see. This is a very small footprint increase for the amount of power and the actual display size between these two devices.

So I'm excited to put this thing through its paces and come back to you with my feeling on whether you should purchase one of these. Who should purchase one of these and really what you should be doing with it? If you do buy, it feels great in the hand, I'll say that right away, it's light, but feels of quality and substance and is weighted perfectly, there's no awkward weighting to it at all, just what you would expect out of an Apple product yeah and that's pretty much it. Thank you for joining me today. I, look forward to seeing you next time as I said earlier. Let me know in the comments what you want to see me do with this, so that I can run that through my tests when I am reviewing this.

Thank you again and see you next time.
