Mi 10T Pro vs OnePlus 8T - Which One Should YOU Pick?

Not every t phone is well the same. Well, let's find out how these two are different: hey guys, omert? here from c4etech, and welcome to our comparison, video where the OnePlus 8t is going up against the meat NT pro. So if you do end up liking this video, then please consider subscribing and turning on notifications by hitting that bell icon. So right off the bat, we can see that these two phones have taken some very different design. Cues sporting, a glass sandwich design, has become the hallmark of premium phones. So it's no surprise that we have gorilla glass, 5, protecting the front and back of both these devices.

The finish, though, well, here's where things get interesting. The meat ND pro has a reflective glass back, looks quite gorgeous. On the flip side, we get the lunar gray variant of the OnePlus 8t, but if you prefer something a bit more striking well, then we have the aquamarine green in there as well. According to OnePlus, the diffuse reflections are supposed to keep fingerprints and smudges at bay. But honestly, if you ask me one of the best ways to keep your phone clean and add some grip onto that slippery back is by adding a case or well, in my case, a brand skin onto it.

Coming back to the build the meat and d pro is the heavier of the two. It's a bit chunkier as well, thanks mostly to the bigger battery inside another point in fever of the 80 is the alert slider to the side, and even though we don't have an official IP rating on our version of the device, OnePlus said it should survive some dunks and splashes just fine. So while I personally find myself drawn towards the OnePlus 8t, you guys can choose whichever one catches your eye speaking of eyes. Let's talk about the thing that our eyes are constantly glued to our smartphone displays now it's natural that the bigger form factor of the meat NT pro would fit in a larger 6.67-inch screen, but I'd much rather take the smaller 6.55 inch panel on the 8t. Not only does it make the phone easier to handle, but we have AMOLED on the 80 going up against IPS LCD on the mi 20 pro and well.

We want to know how that turns out. Both these phones are full HD plus have HDR 10 certification and are protected by corning's gorilla, glass 5. , but the inkier, blacks and puncher colors on the OnePlus 8t takes the cake for me. Both are also high refresh rate panels. The meter d can go up to 144hz, while the 80 is restricted to only 120.

But honestly, I don't think anyone with the most ardent mobile gamers would be able to distinguish between the two. I for sure, can't and honestly is the same when it comes to performance. Both phones run on top of the line, snapdragon 865 chips and, honestly again, I can't make out which one is faster between the two and these high refresh rates, both mini 12, and oxygen OS, seems to fly and, as I just said, I couldn't make out any dropped frames or choppy animations, which is when I decided to try out some games. Maybe I could spot the difference in some fast-paced action shooters. Well, not really.

I tried out modern combat as well as ace force, combat evolved, but couldn't tell them apart. The Arduino 650 GPU in here is just that good buttery, smooth performance even on the highest graphics settings, and honestly I had so much fun playing on them that, after a while, I gave up trying to find my new differences and just enjoyed the experience. Of course, along with the flagship processor, comes superfast memory. The 10 t comes with 8 gigs of lpddr5 ram and 128 gigs of UFS 3.1 storage. The base variant of the OnePlus comes with the same ram storage combo, but OnePlus has chosen to go with lpddr4xram, since we don't have a micro SD card slot on either device the option of upgrading to 12 gigs of ram and, more importantly, 256 gigs of dual lane.

UFS 3.1 storage can be a deciding factor for choosing the OnePlus 8t here. So yes, I'm going 80, but honestly, no matter which one of these you pick up performance isn't going to be an issue. So what about battery life? Well, here we have a clear difference between the two. The meat ND pro has an 11 bigger battery 5000 William hours compared to 4500 on the OnePlus 8t. Now to be fair, it also does have the bigger screen and a higher refresh rate, but then Xiaomi has implemented a seven-step adaptive sync display.

Basically, what this means is that the meat NT pro intelligently lowers its frame rates for movies and then increases it when we are gaming or generally scrolling around the UI. Add to that mini 12, which is quite thrifty when it comes to power management, and we can quickly see why the meat NT pro offers up to 15 percent better battery life when it comes to charging up these batteries. The 80 comes with a massive 65 watt charger that can do to 0-100 in under 40 minutes. In comparison, the 33 watt charger on the mi 20 pro takes under an hour to go from 0 to 100, while I'm happy with the progress that we are making when it comes to faster charging and bigger wattage charges. What I'd have really loved to see on either device is some form of wireless charging.

Traditionally, when it comes to mini versus oxygen OS, it's always been pretty clear-cut, but well, not anymore. Mini 12 has brought in a lot of interesting new features. We now have a control center, much like iOS, an app drawer like stock android and then Xiaomi has built in some very special software features into the meet ND pro. We have the adaptive refresh rate that we spoke of before there's a neat little clean speaker function. Furthermore, we have floating windows for apps overall mini 12 feels as polished as it is snappy, and then there are no ads either onto the OnePlus side of things.

Furthermore, we have android 11 on board, so that's one edge that oxygen OS 11 has since mini 12 is still stuck on android 10. The new UI redesign also focuses on making one-handed usage easier. We have zen 2.0 and a lot of other updates as well. Oh, and thanks to the amulet panel, we have the always-on display in here and OnePlus provides us with a ton of customization for it. So, once more I'll be leaving this one up to you guys, but personally I'll still stick with OxygenOS, it's got the faster animations, the stockist look and oh, it's also got the promise of faster android, as well as security updates.

Speaking of security, both these phones come with fingerprint and face, and lock now, while face unlock, is pretty damn fast on both sides. The side mounted capacitive scanner on the meat NT pro manages to barely beat out the in display scanner on the OnePlus 8t. It's amazing to see how fast in display tech has evolved. Now one thing that has stayed constant from the first OnePlus device has been the alert slider and the 80 has it as well to be fair. OnePlus has launched two new phones without the alert slider.

If you guys are curious to know what they are well. Here's the card to that video coming back. Both phones have dual speakers, but I think the one on the 80 is slightly fuller. It produces a richer sound. Unfortunately, both phones lack a headphone jack.

The meat ND product has an IR blaster, which is becoming pretty rare in high-end phones. These days, the OnePlus 8t, though, hits right back with day-to-day water resistance. As for the meat ND pro, it comes with a secondary, auto brightness sensor inside the camera module Xiaomi claims it helps them, adjust the screen, brightness better, useful or not, though you guys decide since we are already at the back. Let's take a quick look at the cameras. We have what seems to be a pent camera module on the meat NT pro, but one is a flash.

The other is that auto brightness sensor that we were talking about, leaving us with three actual cameras. OnePlus is no less guilty, though this camera bump holds four cameras. The other two are a flash module and the second one. I honestly have no idea what that is: it's not a secondary flash guys. We tested that much out, but anyway, numbers aside.

Let's take a look at some samples. Both won't stick, excellent, looking pictures and thanks to the wide f 1.7 aperture, we got some delicious natural both side by side. The meat NT pro enjoys a huge numbers advantage, 108 megapixel versus 48. Personally, though, I prefer the colors and dynamic range on the OnePlus 8t, but when it comes to detail the larger Samsung AMX sensor, handily beats the Sony mix 586 sensors on the OnePlus 8t under low light. The OnePlus 80 turns the tables on the mi 20 pro managing to come out with brighter pictures and the colors just look how vibrant the images are in comparison.

Shots on the meat ND pro look pale. Both phones do have optical image stabilization, which is why we see the exposures being as long as a quarter of a second. But despite the lower ISO on the meat ND pro the details actually look better on the OnePlus just check out the design on this gate. Moving on to the wide angle, shots we have a 13 megapixel sensor on the mi 10d pro going up against the highest 16 megapixel camera on the OnePlus and the 80 wins this one outright just check out how good the dynamic range is, the blues in the sky, the vibrant greens of the trees. It all looks amazing, as for macro cameras, both these phones have a 5 megapixel unit, and imagine my surprise.

Both these phones actually took perfect. Looking photos like see the detail on this flower and the leaf looks great right. The median deep pro definitely takes the cake, though, since it gets the ability to autofocus on close-up subjects. The final sensor on the OnePlus 8t is a token 2 megapixel depth sensor, but, as expected, the meat ND pro does pretty well with edge detection, even without having a depth sensor. Taking it around for selfies Xiaomi has the numbers advantage 20 versus 16 megapixels, and once again it shows crisper pictures and if we zoom into Nathan's face, we can really see how much detail this shot has taking a look at the 4k samples, as expected, crispy footage, but the OnePlus does a much better job with the colors and dynamic range, even though it was an overcast day.

The footage from the 80 looks bright. Almost cheery the meat ND pro does hold an advantage in terms of resolution, though the 108 megapixel camera on the primary sensor can shoot at 8k.30 frames per second something the OnePlus cannot. Both phones also have their own version of super steady optical image. Stabilization and electronic image. Stabilization combine to give gimbals like smoothness and the details don't take a huge hit either.

So, overall, summing up the cameras, the meat NT pro has more modes, a better selfie camera and a macro snapper with autofocus. On the other side, we have the OnePlus 8t that nails the dynamic range and colors, giving us vibrant photos and videos. So if you're someone who loves to pixel peep, then the meat ND pro is for you, but for everyone else who doesn't want to tinker with their snaps and share them, as is the OnePlus 8t, would be the better choice, at least in my opinion. Okay, so I've gone back and forth between the OnePlus 8t and the meat and deep pro throughout the whole video time now to wrap this one up with a look at the price. The OnePlus 8t starts from 43 000 rupees for the 8 128 GB variant for 3000 rupees less.

We get the same 8128gb version of the meat NT pro. So if you're, a mobile gamer or someone who values the higher 144hz refresh rate- or maybe you love crisp images and selfies I'd say, go for the m20 pro, it looks good, performs well and has better battery life compared to the OnePlus 8t. However, if you love the AMOLED goodness, and you want the stockist feel of oxygen OS, and you don't mind a few lost details in exchange for brighter and more vibrant snaps, then the OnePlus 8t is for you. Honestly, though guys these are very, very good phones and no matter which one you choose. You'd be really happy with your choice.

Personally, though, outside with the OnePlus 8t here, but again, that's my personal choice. So now I want to know yours which one would you rather go for the OnePlus 8t or the meat and d pro? Let me know in the comments below and with that we come to the end of this video, as always as share subscribe and uh turn on notifications by hitting that bell icon. If you haven't yet thanks a lot for watching till the end, guys have a good one cheers.
