Metro by T-Mobile 5G Speedtest and Network.

Go, hey everybody Brett here with double shots, doing another technology video today yesterday I actually did a metro by T-Mobile 4g LTE video. Today I am going to do a metro by T-Mobile, 5g video, so pretty much the same basic concept. Uh before we get started, I was not given a promotion or paid anything for this review. It is my own independent review study of how everything has worked. Uh, so pretty much again. Let's go ahead and go run down.

Metro by T-Mobile is owned by exactly that's it. T-Mobile owns them. The difference between the two sides are T-Mobile is a post-paid side. Metro by T-Mobile is a prepaid side. So when you're doing your research first and foremost off of things, one requires you to pre-pay upfront in advance.

The second one is post paid and does not require you to pay in advance for your services, for your phones, same basic concept on the metro by T-Mobile site, you have to buy the phone outright at their cost of what they're selling it so each individual uh retailer authorized retailer is selling it. It broke down price of what they need to make for that phone as compared to uh T-Mobile. They usually give you an incentive, they can offer phone financing for qualified buyers and going from there and hey prepaid. This is a question that was asked for me. What's the difference between prepaid post paid well, the network prioritization is given to first and foremost the post paid site as compared to the prepaid site same thing with the network.

So those are things to do, but if that doesn't matter to you well prepaid is a better option for you, because you do have cheaper phone costs, uh or plan cost compared to the post-space site. They can feel a little more pricey, especially with built-in phone fa uh phone financing, but it works really, really good again. Their network uh from the 4g side to the 5g site. There has been no changes in network coverage for me, they're all the same, which is phenomenal. The nice thing also in all of metro's plans, you get 5g services, you get 5g services, access to T-Mobile's, 5g network, so 5g is actually on this phone itself right here.

Right now that I'm using- and it is the galaxy s- 25 g, so uh- let's go ahead and tap into this next and let's do a speed test. If you want to come over here, I will show you a speed test. Uh. Here we go you're going to notice we are on. It is 5g service up there.

It doesn't say it, though. Let me get back out of here, and you'll see the 5g up there, and you're pulling roughly 116 117, pretty impressive, phenomenal speeds, even if that was at LTE speeds. That's very, very impressive, 120. Those are impressive, very, very impressive speeds for 5g services, again 120 and on the download speed 25 on the upload speed. So that is very, very again phenomenal for a pre-paid prepaid provider to first and foremost, allow that to be able that's another thing that I like about their network: they don't throttle it, they don't kick it back.

So after so much they will go ahead and kick it back. However, with uh their current setting, there are no caps. Some prepaid providers only give so much of an upload download speed. Metro is one of those providers that gives you the full network, privilege so uh, and they do after keep in mind after 35 gigabytes. They have the right to uh throttle your speeds back just because of data usage, but they usually throttle only the one percent of the highest heavier users of everything, so their network really does work phenomenal, uh out of everything that I've seen uh it's great.

It works. If somebody is looking to get metro by T-Mobile, I would jump on it. I mean again, it works really, really phenomenal and the biggest thing about it is again. You got to weigh out your pros and cons. Are you going to pay for your services, monthly, upfront or uh? You know: do you want to pay on the post paid side where you know you get a little more leverage, and you get a billing cycle? Then you get so long to pay your bill as well.

The other thing is cost-effective on the uh side of, if you're paying for the phone outright as compared to uh, you know having a debt where you're able to finance the phone. So those are some of the things that uh you that you know you have to take into consideration. Every user is different and keep in mind. This is the St Louis market we're testing this in. We are not testing this in another market, so we will probably do some network tests here in the next couple of weeks in other markets, but St Louis market alone.

These are very impressive speeds for me. Uh my deal uh my daily driver that I've shown you before with Verizon and even on LTE speeds doesn't even come compared to what even a prepaid provider does. So what does that tell you? Network coverage is very, very similar as well. In addition, so they both give the same comparable same comparable of things so uh I've had network coverage there's been times that I think I've actually had better coverage on the metro side of things than the Verizon side of things, and again every market is different. So if you were to come to me, honest opinion and say hey, you know Brett uh, which network provider would you recommend for the prepaid site? I would probably highly recommend metro, PCs and they do have cheaper cost, effective phones.

They do have a new one uh, they have a new phone. They just came out with that has 5g services, but every 5g service that you get is going to be a little different from provider to provider, keep in mind and from phone to phone because of their chipset. What kind of networking card they have in it and going from there. So I hope this video helped explain a little about their 5g network a little their speeds that they do have with them again. If you're looking into metro in the St Louis market, I would actually give the would honestly look into it.

I mean they're customer services friendly uh. Their plans are generous. I haven't had any problem literally with them, since having metro by T-Mobile. In addition, so uh again, I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend. Hope everybody has a wonderful Labor Day.

I hope uh. I I I want to thank double shots for allowing me to do this video. Furthermore, I hope it helps users out there uh subscribe. If you want to see something else, I'll be doing some more technology, uh videos here in the upcoming week stay tuned, and again I want to thank double shots. You all have a wonderful great Labor Day weekend and Labor Day, and I will talk to you again later.
