LIVE: Apple iPhone 8 Plus Review and Unboxing with AskDes | T-Mobile By T-Mobile

Des here with T-Mobile, Vinnie with T-Mobile, and, of course, the one and only thing we're talking about today-- brand new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in the house at T-Mobile stores. We're going to do a very quick unboxing for you. We're going to just get right to the good stuff. It is iPhone day. All right. Got some people coming in? Yeah.

Nice. All right, let's do it. A few coming in. Where are they from here? We'll do that again. I like that this time.

OK. Hey, guys. Des with T-Mobile, T-Mobile's gadget guy. Got Vinnie on the camera in the background fielding your requests and making me look good, which is a tough job to do. Thanks so much for doing it.

Vinnie, say hi. Hey. What's up? Look at that. It even flips orientation. We're at our T-Mobile store in Loehmann's Plaza, just below our T-Mobile headquarters, and yes, we're unboxing the brand new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus today.

Vinnie, I don't think we have any delay. Let's get right to it. Let's do it. You want do a box tour before we go in? There we go. Gorgeous silver and white iPhone on the front.

Ooh. I feel like a slow cam. Slow cam, slow cam. There it is. We are unboxing a 256-gig iPhone 8 Plus.

Inside, we'll see earpods. You know, they've got the lightning connector on them. We'll see the adapter for 3.5, if you need that. And then, of course, the lightning to USB cable and wall charger, right? Yeah. Or adapter, as they like to call it.

Without further delay, here we go. That moment-- the nice, slow release. And there we see our documentation inside the box. Oh, there's a little sneak peek. Did you see it? I feel like I'm teasing them.

Just hiding it, hiding it. And underneath that documentation, our iPhone-- Here it is. --8 Plus in silver. This gets me excited. Wow.

Look at it! Beautiful. Look at it! Nice, slow turn. Ooh. There we go on the back. I'm getting my dirty mitts all over this thing.

Did you see that magenta reflection right there? Ooh, I like it. I like it. Yeah. Magenta apple. Ooh.

Nice. Now, of course, glass back. This feels great. You guys, I have to tell you, it has a nice cool feel to it. It's not slippery.

Here, hold it real quick. You got an extra hand. Try that real quick. Give them a tour. Oh, wow.

Here, I'm going to take over. Yeah. Do a tumble. Do a tumble. There you go.

Look at that. Little slower, little slower, little slower. Make love to the camera, right there. Make love to it. Nice.

There you go. Volume rocker. Looking good on the sides. Yeah, you're right. It's not slippery at all.

No, it's got almost like a little bit of a tackiness to it. It feels great. For a glass back, it feels really good. This is really comfortable. Of course, that glass back is going to enable the wireless charger.

So you've got improved camera. You've got the bionic processor, which just sounds ridiculous all on its own. I mean we've got-- It sounds powerful. We've got to have it. All right.

Let me give you that back. Switch back over. There we are. Now, inside the box, besides the iPhone-- after all, this is an unboxing. Yeah.

We should talk about it. There's the earbuds. OK. The adapter, lightning charging cable, and power adapter, or I like to call it the wall charger. Yep.

And that's it-- box super simple, super clean. It makes it nice and easy. I'm going to go ahead and put that right back in there like that. If you guys have any questions, just send them in. We're looking at the comments.

All right. Training class is watching. Love it. Nice. So we talked about enhanced camera features, wireless charging, and the processor, improved design, great feel.

Like we said, we opened a silver Plus 256-gig. Yeah. There is-- and now you should do the little pan. OK. Of course, accessories come in all the stores.

iPhone 7, iPhone 6S, iPhone SE. We've got this guy all dirty playing with him today. Here's the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, prices. Look at this. I want to show this off real quick.

Oh, yeah, there's the gold. Looks good. And this one is the silver that we had. The silver that we opened today. Powered on, and there we go.

iPhone 8. Now, Vinnie, it is iPhone 8 and 8 Plus today. I did want to commemorate this with an old homage to visiting the mother ship. Yes, sir. I wore my Apple t-shirt today.

The spaceship now, the Apple spaceship. That would be a good one. Hot air balloon over the new Apple Campus. What do you think? Yeah. I think we challenge you guys.
