LG G8 vs Samsung S20 FE 5G speed test

Hey guys welcome back to my channel uh right now, I'm going to do a quick speed test with the lg g8, then q and the Samsung s20 FM. Now I just want to see how a 855 processor from 2019 goes up against the 865 from a year ago. Actually, this phone was just released a few months back so uh. They both have six gigabytes of ram and uh. Let's see which one is going to boot up first now, one thing is that my lg is actually running uh android 9, I still haven't been able to update it because I'm not using a TNT. It's an ATT device so actually requires you to be on a t network before you can actually update the phone, so that is kind of a bummer, but let's go ahead and boot them up.

Now, I'm using my lg g8 on cricket and even though cricket runs on the ATT network. I just have that not had any luck in uh updating the phone at all so, and I've done resets, and I've done everything and I couldn't even find a lg bridge that would work so kind of bummed out about that, but other than that I mean it's still a fantastic phone guys all right. Let's go ahead and start off with the phone app one. Two three goes: okay, I think. Actually the lg might have got there faster all right.

Let's do a message app one! Two three goes! Okay, I think that's about a tie, all right. Let's do uh. Let's do Instagram one. Two three go all right. I think that uh that would go to the Samsung all right.

Let's go ahead and do uh. Let's do a YouTube here. All right! One, two three go all right: I'm going to go ahead and say that that was definitely the Samsung all right. Let's go ahead and do with that camera see which one's going to boot up the camera faster. All right, one, two three goes, and I'm going to say the lg got there faster, all right.

Now, let's go ahead and do uh, uh: let's do messenger one. Two three go all right: going to have to go with the Samsung on that one: okay! Now let's go ahead and do an uh. Let's do Amazon here all right! One, two three go all right, so it looks like the Samsung's uh going to go ahead and get that one as well. Now, let's go ahead and um. Let's do a game here.

Let me see if I can find a game here guys that I have on both of these phones here so uh. Let's check it out here. Okay, I think I believe I have temple run here, and I have temple run here all right, one, two three go and surprisingly, surprisingly, the uh lg g8 has gotten there faster and that's actually very, very surprising to me all right. Let's go ahead and see some gameplay here. All right slide him now all right.

So I'm actually very, very surprised that uh this one actually loaded the game faster, which is very shocking, um kind of just because uh this is supposed to be the uh, the latest and greatest from last year, uh, even though the 888 is out now snapdragon um uh. All in all I mean I can tell you that it depends on the performance and how the phone is optimized um, I'm launching the pixel launcher on this one, and I feel like I've optimal, it's optimized better with a different launcher. This is using the Samsung skin, but other than that man. I think both of these phones. Let's go ahead and do another app.

Just let's go ahead and do uh. Let's just go: do a Gmail or something uh, just check that out check that out guys? Let's do the email app here all right, so you find it here somewhere man! This is a thing when I use these launchers, I'm so used to this launcher that it's so much easier for me to maneuver. But anyway, here we go one two three go all right, so I'm going to go ahead and give that to the Samsung like, I said all in all guys, if you can find this phone right now, you can probably get this phone. The lg g8 right now for about two hundred dollars: fantastic, buy um. If you're using a TNT, it's even better, because you're going to get the updates uh with this phone.

Now you can still find this phone right now for about uh in the used market, and you know 600 brand new, and this is this- is a great phone um. I can't really tell you which one's better. I feel like literally I like the size better on this one. This is a 6.1 inch and this is a 6.5. Now I've been using this one every day, but all in all I mean I just love the fact that when you put this one down, it doesn't wobble.

So there's no wobble it just you know if it's flat in the back and this one's good too. So all in all man I would just say that if I had to pick one I'm going to go with the Samsung, because I'm going to get the updates for next three years uh. This is the only problem that I have with this. One is the updates uh, once lg starts, releasing more updates and having unlocked versions available in the United States factory unlocked, I would go with the Samsung, but as far as hardware, I think that the lg is probably one of the better phones. You can buy I've always loved lg, but I just wish that they would support their software.

The lgb40 that I had was a Verizon version so that one actually got it updates, because Verizon does send over-the-air updates, even if the phone is not connected to the uh carrier, but unfortunately a t uh, you know, wants you to actually have the phone connected to their servers before they can release the updates, which is kind of a bummer but other than that guys. The lg g8 is a fantastic phone, and you can't go wrong with either one of these and with that, if you guys enjoyed this video subscribe down below until next time, take care and stay blessed.
