Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 - Which is Better?

So in today's video we're going to compare two different 10-inch tablets. Well, Lenovo is ten point three-inch and Samsung is ten point one, but it's still ten inches. So we've got the Lenovo tab, m10 Full, HD plus- and this is the second generation, and we're gonna, compare that against the Galaxy Tab, a 10.1 2019 version now, depending on which version you get the Lenovo starts at $150 and goes up to $200 and the Galaxy Tab A is around two hundred thirty to two hundred and eighty dollars all they have a link in the description below with current pricing and more information on both of these tablets. So let's go ahead and get started now you can see the size of these are basically identical. Lenovo is a hair thicker and a little wider, but it's also got a ten point. Three inch versus 10.1 inch, so it's got a little less bezel around the edges. I think when Nova looks a little more modern, but both look perfect in person so when it comes to which of these have the better screen they're both 1080p resolution Samsung does seem a little brighter and has a little better viewing angles if you're just watching, shows on YouTube or Netflix you're, not gonna, see a huge difference between either of these I think both of them do a perfect job, especially with indoor use, not so good for outdoor use on either of these.

But if I had to pick between these two, just based on the screen, I'd have to give the slight advantage to Samsung. Now when it comes to better battery life, this one isn't, as close as you would think. I did a battery drain test with the screen brightness at 100% streaming. Continuous, video and Samsung lasted six and a half hours before finally dying, where Lenovo only lasted four and a half hours, which is kind of sad. Really.

It's got to be one of the lowest on battery life that I've tested, and then they both take about three hours to charge back up from zero to 100%. Now, when it comes to better speakers, I prefer the setup on Lenovo a little better, where it's on each side of the tablet, even though they have pretty much no bass compared to the Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab speakers have a little better overall balance, instead of mostly highs like on the Lenovo tablet. The overall loudness on both is just average. It definitely could be louder on both of these also have Dolby Atmos, but it doesn't really seem to help Lenovo too much, and you'll definitely get a better experience using headphones.

So I have to give this one a Samsung when it comes to which has the better speakers now which one of these has better overall performance. It gets a little tricky here, because I don't have the 2 gigabyte version of the Samsung tablet. I have the 3 gig, RAM, 64, gig storage and then Lenovo is 2 gigabytes, 32, gig storage. However, you can also get a 4 gigabyte, 64, gig storage Lenovo, and you can also get a 2 gigabyte, 32 gigabyte storage Samsung. So you can see no matter what testing I do the ones I have here, aren't going to be exactly apples to apples when running Geek bench scores.

Now the tablets I have the Samsung actually has better specs, but the Lenovo actually wins in a multi-core score with 894, where Samsung only has 594 Samsung is faster at pretty much everything involving the software as you're. Moving around apps open up apps I would assume, though, that the four gigabyte version of Lenovo would be slightly faster, but not sure until I actually test it so in performance. Comparing these two I would definitely give the edge to Samsung, but no, when it comes to better gaming, this one is really close. The graphics settings for pub G mobile is balanced and medium frame rates on the Galaxy Tab, it's slightly less for the Lenovo tablet. Both tablets work pretty good.

When using my favorite. I peg, a controller I, don't think you can go wrong choosing either of these tablets when it comes to gaming. But if I had to choose between them, I would definitely give the edge to Samsung so when it comes to which has the better software to me, this one's sort of tie, because there are some things that I like on the Lenovo tablet, but there are some things I like on the Samsung's now I just saw an article online where the Galaxy Tab an is starting to get Android 10. So that's perfect to see, and I haven't heard anything about when Lenovo is going to update. This I would assume they're going to do at least one update, but it's hard to say right now, I know unless I'm missing it somewhere in the settings.

I, don't like how you can't get to the Google newsfeed by swiping left on the Samsung tablet, but you can do it on the Lenovo that might be kind of minor to most people, but I actually used the Google newsfeed quite a bit. It seems, like you, can customize quite a bit more on the Samsung tablet. So for me, when it comes to which one has the better software I feel like the pros and cons of each sort of even out for me, so I would have to call this one. A tie, I might even give Lenovo the slight edge just because it's more stock Android than Samsung, but that's just gonna, be your personal preference now when it comes to which have the better cameras. Both of these are not great, but Samsung has the slightly better rear camera and a slightly better front camera, and it's actually quite a bit better on the front camera again.

I would not recommend using cameras on tablets. You're, definitely going to get much better results using your cell phone I noticed. Lenovo is starting to get more cases available now, but Samsung is definitely dominating when it comes to getting accessories, especially when you're looking for a case there for a while I couldn't find any for the Lenovo. So at least there's a handful of options out there now in this comparison you can see Samsung wins most categories, but I, wouldn't let that fool you Lenovo is cheaper and I, really like this Lenovo tablet and I would have no problems recommending it over the Galaxy Tab a 10.1, even though technically Samsung makes a better product.
