Kyocera Hydro Shore Unboxing

So, what is up guys? This is Nick here from everything Tech and welcome to this Kyocera. Hydro, short video unboxing. Now this is a Walmart exclusive phone, but it's an AT&T go phone, sometimes AT&T does a go phone, and they only drop it out at Walmart. So, unfortunately, if you don't have a Walmart near you, or you don't shop at Walmart, you probably will not be able to pick this one up, but there are plenty of people that probably do shop at Walmart and go ahead and pick this guy up here, because care hydro short now, if you're reading right here it says this is a waterproof phone that can go up to 3 feet for 30 minutes. So this is a great Beach phone, a phone you could take in the shower and probably even better than something like the s7, because you waterproof not water resistance. So in terms of just waterproofing, this guy is going to be pretty great here.

Let's open up the casing here and see what comes inside, so we already talked about the waterproof. You can see right there, I'm, not sure if the cameras, picking that up, we have android 5.1.1 lollipop doesn't really matter. All you really need is a waterproof foam, Android version as long as pretty current, which that is pretty current. It's not the most current, but it's pretty current a beer wheel up to 8 gigabytes, internal memory up to 64 expandable. So it looks like it's a gigabyte phone, so you're not going to be able to install a thousand one apps on here, but still it should get the job done.

Nonetheless now I'm, not sure. If this has 2 gigs of RAM either it might not. So we have a 5-inch quarter, HD IPS impact resistant display and 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 2 megapixel front-facing camera. So the specs are nothing to you know brag about, go home and say: I got a really awesome phone, but you got one thing to brag about, and that is donen't. You have waterproof, and you know that's something that could be very useful to many people.

You know um, you know if I, for example, I went to the beach the other day, I had the iPhone SE with me, and all the s-e I have to leave in the bag, because I didn't want it to get. Furthermore, you know messed up, but this you know it takes to the beach you can take to the shower, and you can go ahead and dunk it in with you no problem. So you might want this as a spare phone to do just that. First impressions out of the box, it's got a very durable and drippy feel which I do like, because this is very, very drippy to hold. To be honest, if you look at the rich texture, they're very gripper, now it's not the prettiest phone I've ever seen.

It's pretty basic standard stuff here, but I will take that grip any day over the leak over some slip, especially when we're talking about a phone we're going to travel it. So we get some cardboard there you go. Nobody cares! Let's go over here. We have a micro, USB charger port cool there like that AC adapter, typical stuff. We get in pretty much every single box of every phone.

Furthermore, we don't care about that. Furthermore, we will spend about two minutes of our life. Looking at that, and then we'll stop and never revisit it. So here we go, and I didn't see any battery in there. So this might be an embedded battery.

I, don't see any grip here to pull this casing off, but actually it does come off. Maybe I missed the battery in the box. No. So this is an embedded battery here on Kyocera, hydro shore here and I. Don't know if it says the size of that battery anywhere, but you can see everything is sealed up really nicely so make it make this waterproof.

Here. Let me go ahead and snap everything into place here, and actually I might even pick me one of these guys up or keep this device if it actually holds up to the water, because that would be cool just to have that for special occasions. You know now this phone it ran me 79. Nobody paid for this video I bought this one on my own money. This phone ran me $79.99 here, and I was thinking about trying it out if I don't like it, I'll return it. Let's go ahead and power.

This guy up, see if there's any juice in there, and there is so. You can see Kyocera there. So you know a little different. We usually mess with Samsung and Apple powered by Android, usually mess with all those guys around these parts. But today we're taken we're looking at coyote right.

Actually, my first cell phone ever was a coyote or kind of funny to mention, but you can see AT&T logo and force impressions. The screen doesn't look very, be very sharp here. You know it's not, not super sharp, but you know it's gonna probably get the job done, for you know what I'm going to need it for so what I do like, though, is that you know there's very minimal bezel down here, I, really like that. It seems like it would make it an easy one-handed device. But let me go ahead and skip this networking see if we can get in there really quickly and just see what is rocking out.

Let's skip this skip anyway, we just want to get into the phone real quick Google come on so yeah a typical process here, not now think we're going to be in just a second exit and there we are so next you can see pretty basic stuff here, Android device and like I say the smoothness doesn't feel very smooth. The screens, not very you know, I was actually under the frame there, but the screen doesn't feel very smooth here on the carrier. Zero. But you know what I'll take that waterproof, though you know, and if you guys want to see me actually try that out on video, go ahead and drop that down below in the comment section. Maybe we can get that done so activate now what you can see? Android version 5.1.1 here, let's go ahead and take a look at that camera, though on this device before we continue on here. So a little of a basic camera, I'm, never saying lately, you don't see cameras, look this basic on phones, but let's go ahead and just take a quick snap here and camera looks, looks like it'll.

Take a snap in an instance, but it's not gonna, you know, impress nobody around these parts, so yeah pretty much. That's it! That's done boxing of the Kyocera hydro short. We will be doing a review on this guy and if you have any video suggestions, request anything about because you're a hydro Shore go ahead and drop that down below in the comment section. So we could chat about that. I do read those you know.

I do base a lot of my reviews on some things you guys say. So it's important that you guys go ahead and share what you want to see or if you don't want to see anything then don't leave anything. But if you do, you know, go ahead and drop that down below it helps out, but uh I will be dropping a review on this, probably dunk it in some water anyways. If you guys enjoyed this video, you know what to do. Please go ahead.
