iPhone XS MAX vs. iPhone 8 Plus - Was Upgrading a MISTAKE?? By HempTech

Hey phone, then, if my tech, dammit, hey Dan, guys here from Happy tech, sorry, everyone, it's been a while: let's try it one more time: mm-hmm, hey guys, Dan here from hepatic, and welcome to my newest video, where today I'm going to be looking at a comparison between my old iPhone, 8 plus and the new iPhone X s max wow, that's a mouthful! That's what she said. Don't think I should have said that the main reason I'm comparing these two- is to see if it's really worth going for the upgrade, because this has been an amazing phone now I, don't really know how I feel about this I'm really looking forward to the 6.5 inch OLED display, but I'm, not really looking forward to having a phone that doesn't have a home button. That was probably my main reason for not getting the 10 I really like having a home button and I didn't know how good face ID was going to be. This is my first film with face ID. Hopefully, though, the screen is going to be worth it. It's also a bit louder as well.

It's got the 12 chip. Furthermore, it's going to be fast there, it's going to be quicker at all sorts of stuff. The boor effect on the camera is slightly better blah blah blah. The main thing I want to look at really is the display and the volume, because I like to watch a lot of videos consume a lot of media on my phone, and I'm all about a nicer display and louder speakers. So let's get it unboxed.

Let's compare them side-by-side, see the screen is any better. Obviously it's going to be bigger, but is it going to be much brighter? So, let's get it unboxed? Okay, like I, say it's definitely going to have a bigger screen, but is it going to be worth the extra money? The exciting bit I've done this, and so on? So straight away turn this off not much difference. Obviously, yet they're still doing these things well. I haven't used white headphones in a long time. You've all seen that stuff we'll get rid.

Let's compare the two phones and let's see how much better the new ones looking because they're, both black you know, I'm, not gonna, be seen much difference, yet I'm noticing a much bigger button on the side here, brilliant, just knocking together. It's got a much shinier finish than the eight plus and black that I'm holding really weird, not seeing that home button feels really, really good the back. Obviously, the camera is a slightly different. What would you say angle? Basically, we've got this one in landscape this one in portray Wow. There's your wow factor right there, that's what you're paying for baby that extra real estate I've, not even done anything.

Yet it looks amazing, don't get me wrong. The heat plus is a really really good phone, but that looks awesome now, I'm not used to this sort of phone I've never used a 10 love how that quick-set worked so cool while I'm waiting for it to load. I'm. Just going to explain a few things to you all one of the main reasons: I didn't get the 10 despite it having on paper a bigger screen than the 8 plus. It wasn't really if you were watching things like movies, or you were shopping because it wasn't any wider, and I didn't really want any more screen real estate above or below.

So when I heard this was coming out, which should have a screen just as wide, but you're getting you know, extra real estate top and bottom I thought why not I'll go for it. Some people, including myself, I, did this the 10 before, because I didn't particularly like this little notch in the screen. This darker area here, but you know, you're getting a lot more bang for your buck in this film compared to this one. That's also Polly like because this thing the 512 gig model of this is 1,500 pounds. This one I think is about 1250 13 I went for the 256 gig.

This is also 256 gigs, as well so enter passcode on your other phone. You don't need to see this bit setting up my phone. Oh, it's getting a little warm on my hands. Speaking of warm phones, Samsung note, 9, I, believe or Samsung 9s 9 blowing up in people's pockets, Oh Apple will be loving that maybe Apple have planned that maybe it's all a ploy, maybe it's not real, who knows right, restoring from iCloud is going to take forever. So, while that's happening I'm, just gonna kind of put them side to side and just see if they are the same size, the iPhone X s max sleep seems a little thicker in terms of width.

They look very, very similar same height. Okay plus is slightly taller. I did not notice. This is not to me welcome to iPhone. Yes, it's finally done we're in swipe up to get started in an inning ladies and gents boys and girls.

This is the WoW moment. This is what I've been waiting for since the start of this whole video. The side-by-side comparison, both films, side by side, full brightness, and I've, got to say the new phone is looking pretty sweet right now, as you can see, the icons come up a little bigger. The screener is definitely brighter they're at full brightness right now, and the new phone is looking really, really good. So hopefully you can see quite clearly at the OLED display is a lot brighter than the old display.

Hopefully, the top cam shows you that as well now I'm interested to see how much louder the new phone is compared to the odd, because that's one of the main reasons I bought this phone, so the song I'm going to go for still Are just because we all know it and I like it. So, let's start with the iPhone 8 plus new film, okay, I've, just remembered I've still got the plastic cover, Oh big, yet a hole. You really cannot be that all right, let's try it again, one more time from the top. Please, Dre do your thing little near baseman's new one. It's not load different, but it does sound a bit louder.

Let's try it one more time: yeah yeah! It definitely sounds louder. It's a bit richer as well as there's a bit more to the sound right. I think I'm going to wrap it up. There then guys the main reason for the upgrade was the brighter bigger screen and the louder speakers for when I'm watching things on my phone, and it hasn't disappointed. Yet the iPhone 8 plus is an amazing phone and if you've got one I wouldn't necessarily say upgrade.

However, if you're at the end of your contract- and you watch a lot of things on your phone- you do a lot of shopping, then maybe the X s max is the right phone for you. That's it for the video guys, I, hope you enjoyed it, and I've seen the next one opposed.
