iPhone Xr vs. iPhone Xs Max vs. iPhone X Performance Comparison (S2-E5)

This video is sponsored by cell cashier, calm. They compare I phone prices on the Internet and give you their instant quote and the most cash for your iPhone, hey guys. This is Eric barium, so the iPhone 10 R is officially on sale and at the time of this video, all iPhone 10 are models with different colors are available at all 5 Apple stores near me. Actually, Apple stores around the world opened their doors. This Friday for the Thursday selling the iPhone 10 are, and while Apple has offered something a little different from on previous launches, more colors and arguably the best bang for your buck from the iPhone in years, the lines of Apple fans were nowhere to be seen. I pre-ordered this iPhone 10 are the very first hour when it was available for pre-ordering one week, though, just bear in mind as we unbox.

This creature is that it's screen resolution is going to be different. It's pixel per inch density is going to be a 326 compared to over 400 with the iPhones flagships. There is no 3d touch on this model. It does, although come with the a12 ionic chip and also does not have the dual lens and does not have the telephoto Want angle photo taking so without further ado, let's get into unboxing of this creature and get into the performance and battery test part of this video there's always a very nice box by Apple very high quality and comes with all the standard inserts, like all the other phones, but it feels a little different. It doesn't feel like the flagships that Apple produces and releases pretty much every year.

Nowadays. This is a less expensive version, of course, compared to the tennis match, but a very comparable size here. So this is the 10r, and this is a 10s max and in gold, and this is a white one, so 10 R is white, and I'm gonna quickly go through the setup process. You don't necessarily need to see that, because all iPhones are pretty much identical, but look at the screen size, how much smaller it is and how thick the bezels are, and that's probably one of the reasons people do not find this as appealing as the flagship Slake again like the tennis match or the 10s, and so before we begin. Our comparison just want to point out the fact that this device is actually thicker than the predecessors that were just recently released attend both the tennis and tennis max it is doesn't.

It doesn't feel as expensive, again visually the screen. Bezels are thicker and which therefore makes the screen look a little more appear a little smaller. Of course, it's going to be enough for all your activities like movie, watching texting and calling, of course now also keep in mind that the camera really does stick out over here. So you might want to get a key for it, because the quartz glass over here is really flush with the surrounding frame. So if you were to set it on a table, your phone is going to be pretty much sitting on the camera lens itself.

So just something to keep in mind to make sure that you protect your investment and to make sure that your camera photos are going to be amazing and which we'll see in one of the next videos- and this is this- is a 10. In my left hand over here, slightly smaller. Definitely a little feels a little more lightweight compared to the 10r. That's slightly larger, but certainly 10 s max feels much, much better in hand, but it's also a little heavier because it is generally a bigger handset. So now that we know what all these look like, let's go ahead and start with our first test, which is going to be the YouTube alright guys.

So for this test, I am simply going to open. One of my previous videos and I will try to be as simultaneous as I can to make sure that I open all three videos on the three phones pretty much simultaneously. So we can just kind of observe and see how long it takes for each amount is essentially cache the YouTube video once you open it up, so ready set and go so 10 was actually first and then followed by 10s max I. Think that 10 and 10s max pretty much did their job very, very well and 10 are, is actually a little slower. It slipped performs very well, of course, when you pull up YouTube videos, but there's just that slight delay that you should expect of this phone when you're going to be watching videos, if you decide to buy it all right so now that we know how they performed with YouTube, let's go ahead and try weather.

com, which is a very information-rich website, again trying to be simultaneous as much as I can. So what you can see right now is that they actually perform pretty much almost just as fast 10 was a little slower here, but I think that did equally well, and I wouldn't say that there's a definite winner here, I will tell you that whether that come has a lot of scripts running in the background. So I have gone through a lot of fake iPhones that do not perform well on this test, and it takes up to a minute to completely pull up the website. So no apparent winner here. So your browsing experience is likely to be very similar on all these phones, except just remember that there's not as much screen.

Clarity in the ten arch is because it's a small resolution and also smaller pixel per inch density. Alright guys- and this is the built-in maps that come with all iPhones straight out of the box- and this is New York and I- just want to demonstrate how easy it's going to be on all three of these phones to navigate and that they're, so efficient and so fast that you will hardly ever see any kind of lag when you navigate or when you browse through the cities or even if you're, looking at three-dimensional maps and very curious to see how 10r is going to perform and 10r performs just as well it's just as nimble as the flagship. So you won't really notice any difference here and very, very smooth, so we're going to do here, guys we're going to run the 3d mark, and this is going to be a great visualization for us. I do hypothesize that the iPhone 10 are in the 10s max will perform equally well, just because they are on the same processor. They both have the 812 Vienna chip, and so they will be certainly outperforming the 10, but the 10s max and also the 10 are which I think was a very wise decision by Apple to give the end users the same powerful processor that you can get an flagship.

That's you know that costs a lot more and often over $1000. So as a result, we will not see a huge visual difference between the 10s Max and the 10 R, but the tennis max will outperform, along with the 10 R, will outperform the older iPhone 10 that actually does have the 11 Bionic, which is the CPU that they used in that generation of iPhones. Ok, so just how I hypothesize the result is actually on the 10. R is completely identical. It's its a 3-point difference which is very, very negligible, so 10 s max here and the 10 are performed equally well and of course you have the 10, which is a phone from essentially a 1 year ago, and it has the 11 Bionic chip.

So it's not as versatile. So this is why your scoring is a little lower on the iPhone 10, which doesn't mean that it's a bad phone, it's actually a great phone and I, would honestly prefer the iPhone 10 over the 10 R and even the 10s max just because of how expensive this is and 10 has definitely a better screen compared to the R. But again the choice is yours: I think this phone performs extremely well again, it's pretty much just like the flagship when it comes to performance, all right guys and the last has always said, but not the least. This is going to be the battery benchmark test by Geek bench for I'm very curious to see how well the 10r is going to perform, and it would be very interesting to see if it can actually outperform the 10 from the previous year without a further ado. Let's go ahead and run the benchmark okay, so the battery test is done and, of course the winner here is going to do the 10 s max.

It certainly has a much larger battery. The battery capacity on a tennis max is actually larger than on both of these the 10 and also the 10 R, and its capacity is 3000 174 milliampere hours just remember, even though it has a higher battery score. It is offset a little by the large beautiful screen that is very bright and has great clarity. So this is the Super AMOLED technology- that's used here, so it's going to eat up the battery quicker than on these other two phones, so 3960 battery score from bench. For what's interesting is that 10 and the 10 are they actually do have a very similar score as a phone from the previous generation from one year ago, and they scored pretty much identical to each other.

Even though this screen is slightly larger on the 10r, it is actually not as bright doesn't have the same clarity, so it doesn't have the same energy consumption and your pixel per inch density is actually lower on this phone right here, which is the 10r. So of course, the absolute winner here is 10s max it's from a different size. Category now will tell you these will be even, and so this is our benchmark. Battery comparison test and 10s max is the winner alright guys, so the iPhone 10 R is a great iPhone. Its huge screen is nice.

The camera is great. Those eye-catching colors present you with options beyond just black or white, like Apple likes to do usually, and in some scenarios the iPhone 10 are even performs better than its more expensive, iPhone 10s counterpart. And if you like, the last iPhones you'll, probably love this one too. It's still an iPhone. After all, what's my conclusion then: what's the verdict on this? So if you ask me, I think the iPhone 10 R is more than enough of a smartphone for most people.

The single camera will treat you right. The screen is sharp enough for almost anything you'd be watching and unless you're a photography, both Apple's iPhone at 10 R will handle most anything you can throw at it. It's an iPhone after all.
