What's up everyone, as you guys know, the iPhone 1000 was just released today. Kind of I mean it was announced forever ago and some people some lucky people, got their hands on it early. But me I'm, an average person I had to go to the Apple Store, II had to wake up early burn. Some calories go walk to the store and pick up. The iPhone 10 are men, and let me tell you those people hate me over there, just because I always try to talk with them and try to get like insider information. They never give it to me so, and I always try to get the discounts.

I always try to chop it up with the people, and I'm like hey we're friends now can I get your employee discount they're, always like no, but it's whatever so what's interesting about this comparison between the iPhone 10 are in the iPhone 8 plus, is that the iPhone 8 plus, was literally only like $50 more than the iPhone 10, not released price, but now the iPhone 8 plus is extremely much cheaper than the iPhone 10 dollars and even at the Apple Store. That's still being sold, so I was talking about use prices, but even at the Apple Store, the iPhone 8 plus is actually cheaper to buy than the iPhone 10 are so you, you might be asking yourself bro, which one should you get now lucky for you, I own, both of these phones and what I'll say is just kind of breaking yes right now the iPhone 8 plus definitely feels way more premium than the iPhone 10 are and which is weird to say, because I thought the iPhone 10 art would feel more premium, because you know it looks way more premium, there's not the home button. It doesn't have all this stuff, so it looks kind of good. But when you compare them side-by-side, I think honestly, it's like the bezel or the body around like the chassis I, think it's going around the body that just really makes it feel like kind of outdated in a way, and it's kind of thick, it's thicker than the iPhone, a plus, which there's nothing wrong with that, like I, said, there's nothing wrong with a little thickness, whether you're a thick man or a thick woman. I'm, a fake man myself, there's nothing wrong with that.

Dude you just got to embrace it. Wait and I, don't think it's a bad thing either you know the iPhone 10 or because it's a little thicker, it does house a little of a bigger battery which I'll get into in a second, which is always a plus no pun intended, but in terms of both I, definitely think that the iPhone 10 or doesn't feel as premium the best way. I can explain it. It feels like an iPhone 6s plus, but with like a glass back on it. So if you remember, like the jump from an iPhone 6s, plus to even an iPhone, 7 plus there's quite a bit of difference, you know it feels pretty premium.

You 7, plus an A+, the 6s plus, not so much, but that's what it feels like now. I do want to say: I have one slight issue already with the body of the iPhone, 10, or I literally bought it like two hours ago, not even like four hours ago and when I click, the home button I already hear like a clicking sound like moving piece or piece, that's kind of broken, or something like that. I, don't know how to explain it like the power button. Still works, look like it's creaky, but it actually is messed up a little. So I'm gonna probably make a separate video talking about that I mean it's kind of annoying, because you, it's literally so loud and I, went to check it out.

My e+ I couldn't hear it. I went to check it on my 6s plus and I could hear it, but the 10r was power. Button was actually louder, so I'm not even clicking it all the way, I'm just kind of tapping it and I checked my 5s, and that also did that click sound too, so maybe they're using some parts from the 6s plus or something I, don't know, or the 5s kind of its kind of like that. Realm of how that phone feels like yeah, that's really weird that that happened, I, don't explain it now, what's cool about both of them is that they both do have ip67 dust and water resistance. So you can go up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.

So like I always say dude. You shouldn't really expect to use it, but in case something does happen, you have that option of like okay, like thankfully like I'm running in the rain, but my phone's not gonna, get broken. You know now, looking at the front, you do have a 6.1-inch screen on the iPhone 10 R and a 5.5-inch screen on the iPhone 8 +. Now, even though the screen is smaller, the weirdest thing ever why I, bashed the iPhone, 10 or so much was because of the screen resolution. The iPhone 8 plus the screen, was 1080p 1080i by 1920, exactly but the iPhone 10, or has an 8 28 by 1792 resolution.

So that's kind of awkward I mean it's that, because it's the way that screen is shaped, but I mean it's a little above 720p. So I guess that's something, but it's less than 1080p, which is embarrassing if you're releasing a phone in 2018 that cost $800 almost out the door. That's a lot of money. Man, that's not cheap at all, and when I tell you right now, and I'd honestly, when I went to the Apple Store, I looked at all the options, I weighed all the options and I looked at the iPhone 10 I'm, like you know what I kind of bashed a little too much the screen really isn't that bad, but then I took it home and, like I, saw my iPhone 10 and I like to compare them. I'm like oh, my god.

The screen is really not that good at all. On the iPhone, 10 or, and then I looked at my iPhone 8 plus and compared the screens again and again, dude the iPhone 10. Our screen is not that good I, don't know what everyone's talking about like. Oh, the screen. Are you can't even tell this and that yeah, if you're, not comparing it to anything, yeah you're, not going to tell my best? Example is if you're coming from like an iPhone, 7 or iPhone 8, or a smaller phone like that, because 6 or 6s you're, not going to notice.

How unsharp the screen is because the iPhone 8 screen wasn't that sharp I found being honest, but the iPhone 8 plus of screen wasn't that bad I mean it was an IPS panel. It wasn't AMOLED, but still the iPhone 10 art does not look as good on the screen, no matter what you're looking at settings page whatever you can see that it's like pixel a little and that's what happens when you have a screen that size, 6, 1 inches and at such a low resolution now I feel like. If this panel was AMOLED, it would have been a little better. It probably wouldn't fix the sharpness or anything, but I feel like they should have put an AMOLED screen on this, at least with the AMOLED. It's a little better, but not only do they put IPS panel on it, which was already like kind of one step backwards.

He also made the resolution so much smaller and again. I bashed it like crazy and I waited. You guys told me to wait until I got it and I did I'm complaining about the same exact thing. So I'm, not a huge fan of the screen. I mean you don't even have force touch on it, which honestly I thought it wasn't that big of a deal they said they replaced it with haptic feedback.

Would you the weirdest thing ever because it's just a long press, and you can't even pick and pops inside a message or anything or notification? So that's really annoying, but it is what it is. You can't go in and change it now, but that's kind of annoying now kind of moving towards the software side of things and moving away from the hardware the iPhone ten-hour start off. Getting I was 12. It is upgradable to 12 point 0.1 right now, but the iPhone 8 start off on iOS 11. Exactly so on paper when I'm thinking is most probably the iPhone 8 plus is going to stop one year before the iPhone 10 or there could be a lemon case.

What yeah funny plus is going to last tool as long as the iPhone 10 are possibly we're still kind of so early into the lifecycle of both these phones that it's, you can't tell with the A+ or the iPhone 8. But what I'll definitely say, though, is that we're so far away from the ending of the iPhone 8, plus that you shouldn't even worry about that right now, so, like I, said eventually, probably the iPhone 10 or is going to last you longer in terms of software updates, but we're still so early into the cycle that we can't even tell now that's enough about the software base. Now I'm going back to the hardware, the specs of both these phones are actually more similar than you might think. The iPhone 8 plus had the Apple iPhone Bionic chip, a hex core CPU and three gigabytes of RAM with the iPhone 10 or has an apple, a 12 Bionic chip. It also has a hex core CPU, and it also has three Kenya bytes of RAM now I compared the iPhone 10 R to the iPhone 10 and I actually saw that the 10r was more times faster than the iPhone 10, which was pretty interesting, and I want to do another speed comparison between the iPhone, 10 or, and the iPhone 8 plus I have the exact same apps on both phones, I kind of want to see.

You know which one is faster. So let's go ahead and run that speed comparison and see which one is faster between the two. So as usual, both phones are running the exact same software. Everything is updated. They are actually these same apps on here too, so I tended to redownload.

All of them just don't mind that top row and I said this in my last video too, but I tried downloading the benchmarking app and try to run a benchmark on my ten or I could not get it to run every time I went up to like in 98 100%, and then it would just crash. So I can't even get a score up. I'm. Just kind of annoying, but whatever, so we're gonna start doing some basic apps, then we'll get into some more like heavier ones, but I think the iPhone 1000 is going to be faster overall. So it's do the camera or three two ones.

So these beginning apps will probably be the same photos. Three two one yeah almost like the same exact thing calendar three, two one! Oh, pretty much the same three, two one pretty much the same, Maps, three, two one that one was a little weird weather three, two one that one it showed a little different animation on the iPhone 10 or if I'm, not mistaken, Student News. Three, two one and I'm going to go ahead and rerun this. Actually so then we can get it kind of better. So we're not doing just the splash screen versus the actual thing, plus two news: three two one, the iPhones had always a little faster there it's to iTunes Store three, two one and the iPhone e+ was a little faster there, but it could be because you can see this one stalls and loaded yet so there has to be like a software problem with it.

So I wouldn't even count that one, let's do App Store three, two one iPhone 10 or sorry. It was a little faster. Let's just go to the last staff, so we can do the watch app three two one and the iPhone a plus was faster, as you can see, we're having a little glitch here. The watch thing isn't showing, which is weird, usually that this would show right there, but that's kind of weird. That's another glitch that I found.

Let's go ahead and do these apps sorry take talk. The meatiest thing ever three, two one and I believe that was kind of weird I do not know which one to open up first, so we'll just kind of let that slide. I'll. Let you guys be the judge to Netflix Stacy, one and well I would still say the iPhone 10 I was faster. There is two Quizlet three two one, and these are just apps I figured you guys with my o, might have on your phone I, don't know iPhone 10, always faster than you guys saw Dropbox three two one and the iPhone 10 I was faster.

There too, two slices three, two one, and I think the iPhone 10 R is going to be faster here as well as you can see, who's already had and the gun into the app faster got into the game faster. So that's good. Let's do Bank of America three two one and let's see which one is faster. Well, that's pretty even I would say. Maybe ten I was a little faster, they're still ready three two one and yeah.

They were in a little of a different stage. So go ahead just redo this one as well, because you never want to compare one thing to another. If it's not like accurate, let's do read it again: three two one: they turn out what's faster, as you guys saw. Let's do this game I! Don't even think I have this game on here bricks and balls I. Don't even have that.

Oh, I do okay, three two one now I would still probably give the edge to the iPhone ten. Are there as well, even though I don't want to just kidding, let's do the tea all in this game. Three two one and I still think the iPhone 10 hours in the lead here it depends, whichever one yeah it's just like a little. It's like very, very little like minutes. Well, not even just to rise up three two one, as you can see, yeah Fontana wasn't noticeably faster, but not by much honestly like it's really not that crazy and that's basically how I would sum this whole thing is like.

Yes, it's a might be a little faster here there, but it's not going to be like what you might expect like it to be like 40 times faster or something like that. Like that's not the case at all. If anything like, it is maybe like a couple milliseconds faster, but because the iPhone e+ is still like pretty fast, like you're, not gonna, see that much difference in terms of like the way these games to play like if you put asphalt nigh on here and here, like one's, not gonna, be like too much crazier than the other. An example like this something. This is not even a have you in the game.

Let's go ahead and do asphalt.9, which is right here. I have another page. Sorry, I stood three two one, and I mean whichever one even opens up faster. It doesn't even matter well, it does matter, but the thing is that the performance is still going to be the same. So as you can see, the iPhone 10 R does load up faster, but that is because I did load it up in here.

First, so I'm going to go ahead, and we do this one again, so we can get a ton of a know better idea, so I'm going to go ahead and hop out of both of them again. Let's do it three two one: okay, maybe the iPhone 10 art is a little faster year, 2, but the point that I'm trying to make is yes, the iPhone 10 or maybe a little faster here and there sometimes it's slower. But the case that I'm trying to make is that the iPhone E Plus is still a very good contender, even if it's like 20 plus is much cheaper, and I'll talk more about price. Later in this video I mean honestly, like you guys saw the comparison. I mean this isn't indefinite I mean there could be some mistakes I made here and there, but all in all, they're running the same software saying pretty much the same.

Apps I don't have any other absolute in the background. Besides the ones I open. So that's pretty much it for the speed comparison, guys I'll. Let you guys decide what you want to see guys. That was the happiest speed comparison I've ever seen, dude I'm, like so happy after seeing that I'm just kidding guys I only see the speaking person only after I record, the audio, so I don't know how it went because I kind of like going like non bias, so I kinda have to go without your know, swing one way or the other.

Now one of the aspects that a lot of people talk about, and they're so curious about, is the camera, and now I'm, not one of those people who like look per pixels and try to compare each image with side-by-side and see which one's better or whatever. Because, honestly, it's so subjective, I mean some images will look better on one phones and some images might look better on another phone, especially when you're comparing sensors like this from the same company they're the same megapixel count pretty much the same as exile. For now, what I will tell you are that the f-18 Plus does have these secondary lens, which is also 12 megapixels. The iPhone 10, or only has a 12 met, was single sensor at that, and it's good. It's definitely great, probably better than the iPhone 8's camera, the pluses I, don't think it's better than the iPhone, intense camera and I, don't think it's better than the iPhone 8 plus this camera.

If anything, it's on par with it, but there's a lot of advantages with the iPhone A+ camera than it is with the iPhone to our camera, for example, with portrait mode you're able to do portrait mode on both, but the iPhone 8 plus does have more portrait mode settings and light conditions and everything with the iPhone 10 or does not have that. The iPhone 8 plus also has two times optical zoom, where the iPhone 10 or just has standard zoom and that's kind of the price you have to pay with. Only a single sensor on the back now Apple could go and make the software much better for the iPhone, 10 or, and just all iPhones in general, but I think the problem here is the hardware. You know the iPhone 10, or it doesn't have the secondary lens which for a lot of people who they won't even care, but for some people they might, you know, especially if you do a lot of photography on your phone I mean that that could be one thing that really leans you to go one way than the other. Now I will say that they are able to shoot the same video resolutions and same frame rates so for get up to 60 frames per second on both in 1080p at up to 240 frames per second on both.

So it's definitely cool the kind of future-proof the phone from there. I'm not aspect, but I will still probably say that the iPhone 8 plus is camera is overall better. Now the only advantage that the iPhone 1000 has probably that I can think of is the front-facing camera. The iPhone 1000 has a 7 megapixel they're, both 7 megapixels, but the iPhone 10 R is able to shoot 1080p at up to 60 frames per second, which is better than the 1080p at 30 frames per second on the iPhone, a plus, so definitely say in terms of that. The iPhone 10 our camera only really has one real advantage over the iPhone 8 plus, but in every other way the phone a plus is camera is better, in my opinion, and moving on to something else.

That's kind of interesting, the iPhone 8 plus the battery life on both these phones is definitely good right. But the iPhone 10 are definite, has a better battery life overall and that's one advantage. One real advantage at the iPhone 10 or has when I say real, is that Apple actually had to make a decision either they could have made the phone small or thin just like the iPhone 8 plus, or they could have made it thicker, and they actually took the right option. They made it thicker, and they put a bigger battery in there. So the iPhone 8 + out of 2600 91 million power battery the iPhone 1000, has a 2942 million power battery, so that ended of itself is a pretty good increase.

I mean not only are you getting a bigger battery, but you also have a lower resolution screen, not as many pixels to push, and you have a new optimized chip and everything so the iPhone 10, or will last you longer than the iPhone 8 plus now it's not gonna, be like millions of you hours longer but easily. Like an extra hour of usage, you know, instead of ending the day with like 15% you're ending the day with like 35% or something so just like a little more to make. You feel a little better, like usual form a little more, so I. Definitely like that. I appreciate that about the iPhone 10 or they both do have wireless charging as well.

So you can put them on like a wireless charge. Anything you have and charge your phone that way. So that's definitely cool. Now. Between the two, as I said, the iPhone 10 are, does have face.

I'd e iPhone 8 plus only has the home button on the front with touch ID, which I kind of prefer, but I mean we're in a different age. Now they both don't have headphone jacks writing tonight that now I could keep going on. This notable notes' thing forever. But what I'm trying to get at is yes, the iPhone 10 or is better in some ways. I mean that kind of looks better, but in a lot of ways it doesn't, it doesn't feel better.

It doesn't feel more expensive than the iPhone 8 plus it doesn't look. The screen doesn't look that good. You know and that's kind of the biggest problem I have with it. Is it worth whatever seven fifty-seven ninety-nine a hundred and a phone and I guess it's worth it, I guess if you have the money, get it, but don't think it's a better phone than the iPhone A+ honestly I mean does a look as good as the iPhone 10 or no. The A+ does not look as good as e 10.

Are you don't get the color selections everything, but in a practical standpoint, I mean you're, getting forced touch, a better screen, a sharper screen, a better camera and just a better feeling phone overall, now, you're, probably gonna, put a case on both? So it's whatever, but you take the case off. I mean the iPhone A+ does feel much better than the iPhone 10 are now I'm. Speaking from my viewpoint, your vehicle might be different, but if I had to choose between one of these I would honestly probably choose the iPhone A+, even if they were the same price. But right now they are not the same price. The iPhone A+ is like easily like $400.

You can get it for like almost like half the cost as an iPhone 10 or if you really look for it and that's pretty surprising, because the iPhone A+ is an extremely capable phone, it can do so much and I, don't think the iPhone 10 or is a waste of money right now, I think it has its place kind of Apple lineup. Now, if you have unlimited amount of money, you can definitely go with the iPhone 10 or, and if you don't care about the things that I complained about then I guess it doesn't matter but that's just kind of the way, I view it and nobody's really right or wrong. Here, like I said it's my opinion, I, don't think the iPhone 10 ours, a horrible phone, but I just think, there are some quirks with it that just really rubbed me the wrong way, and that is where I want to end this video.
