iPhone XR Smart Battery Case Update. By Techno GI

What's up YouTube Mike here with another video, and today I just wanted to do a quick update on this guy, the iPhone 10 our smart battery case now. Obviously, if you get the tennis max you're, basically getting the same product, but I have a 10 R. So that's what I want to talk about, but I've had this now for about four or five days, I've been able to actually get some real-world data from it as far as the battery which, if you want this, it's because you want more battery, so that's probably the numbers you care about, but long story short. The battery life on this is excellent. I tested out a very unscientific drain test on this thing. I basically took it off the cradle Saturday morning at about 7:30 and I, wanted to see how long just the external battery would last and during the day, I purposely tried to use my phone as much as possible, so I had probably about six hours on screen on time.

As far as throughout the day so long story short I took it off at about 7:30 battery did not die until the very next day at about 11:00. So you do the math. It was over 24 hours, so it was closer to about 27 hours, so that is pretty impressive and that's before the secondary, not the secondary, but that's before the actual battery in this thing actually kicked on as far as my phone. So this battery case will definitely extend the life of your phone as far as your battery life. So if you're going camping, backpacking, whatever I definitely recommend it.

So that is definitely the pro of this battery case is just the battery life and I will also say, haven't used it now. It is definitely bulky it's taking a little to get used to, but it's a very gripping material. So I do like that. So it's good in hand feels nice in the hand and no issues with that. One native is, though, if you have like a some kind of car mount where you use your phone in your car with this battery, it's most likely not going to fit depending on the kind you have.

So that's what I did is I just added a little magnet. You may or may not be able to see it so with this I've got a mount in my car, where I just magnetized this, so I can still mount it in my car, so I can use the GPS, and all that also on this I noticed since I did my review. I was one of the first to actually post mine, which is fairly rare for me, but I was able to post it since we the same day, this product was available to get so since then, I've actually watched a lot of other reviewers. Do their videos about this, and it's all been fairly negative. A lot of people complaining about the price and all that, so I kind of wanted to address that and put it in perspective.

So right now, I've got up the Sophie page, and I'll show you a screenshot, and if you look at the Sophie Juice Pack, which is probably one of the more popular companies out there for battery packs, they're charging 119 bucks for this, so you're literally paying ten dollars more for Apple, and the odd thing is the design looks very similar, like I figured. That movie would exclude this kind of cutout here, so you would look uniform, but they actually didn't actually mirror apples design which I found kind of ironic, even though there's the top slides off, so they could have made it uniform just for cosmetic sake, but I guess they chose not to. Maybe it has something to do with allowing more light to get into the camera lens, but long story short. The Sophie case is ten dollars cheaper, but you do not get the iOS integration and also people were complaining about how large a capacity this is I think it's some stamps on the inside of this case, but I think it was thirteen. Sixty-nine Williams I'm, not an engineer, I, don't really know what the hell that means in real-world usage, like I, said: I got about 27 hours of battery with this, so battery life is pretty freaking good, so, regardless of maybe the Sophie got a bigger cell in it, I don't know that you're really going to see that much more battery life.

With the Murphy case and again, my favorite thing is that integration so to address all the haters I mean again cosmetically I think you could always be better, but I. Think for what it's supposed to do, which is been a battery case. I mean that's what it's for it definitely checks all the wickets does a fantastic job as far as having that extra battery, so without a doubt 100% you'll. This will last you an entire day as far as just the battery pack and then, of course, you've still got your phone battery, which is pretty damn impressive. My only complaint is just this material tends to be a little sticky where it'll pick up stuff in your pocket and Last whatever, but other than that I think it's been a perfect product, and I'm definitely going to keep it.
